As long as you're not staying in Room 204, this hotel is fantastic. Stayed one night in Room 204, and then the staff was kind enough to move us to a remodeled room (102), so this review is broken down into two mini reviews for Room 204 and Room 102. Room 204 (all pictures attached are of Room 204): We booked a week here for a family beach vacation. The hotel's website says the hotel is undergoing renovations, and that the guests will be placed in areas away from the construction. This is not the case. Room 204 is directly next to the units undergoing stucco renovations, and the jackhammering and noise was bad throughout the day. Even worse, the dust from the construction covered our balcony and furniture, and there was zero privacy from the construction workers less than 10 feet away working all day. It's one thing for the hotel's website to advise guests that the hotel is undergoing repairs, but to say that guests will be situated away from the repairs is simply not true. To cap it off, Room 204 was one of the filthiest rooms I've ever stayed in. Even if that was the very last room available, it never should have been sold to a guest. It looked like an autopsy had been performed on the carpet in the living room. Multiple large stains, dirty and stained furniture, visible black mold on the walls, broken ceiling panels, filthy appliances and fan blades, and it looked like the AC filter hadn't been changed in years (see pictures of the above). Simply awful. This hotel would've been a 1 Star had the front desk staff not accommodated my request to move into a clean room further away from the construction after a night in Room 204. They did (thank you Jessica I think her name was), and it made the rest of the week excellent and 5 Stars. Room 102: Clean, nice tile floors throughout, and even though it was a ground floor unit where you can't see the beach/breaking shore waves (you can see the ocean), it was far enough away from the construction that it was barely noticeable, and only during business hours. The location is right on the beach, large two bed two bathroom units which are great for families with kids who get their own room with separate beds and their own TV, large balconies with plenty of furniture, and just a short walk across the grounds to the ocean. The hotel's pool is nice, but it seemed that they had the solar heater (as advertised on the website) on even in the middle of summer, so by the time the later afternoon comes around, the pool is almost as hot as a hot tub, and definitely not a refreshing way to end a day at the beach as you'd like, but otherwise it was clean and never really crowded. They also have tennis courts with lights and shuffleboard courts, and a couple great local restaurants within a half mile (Magic Oyster and Harvest Table are both excellent). As long as you don't stay in Room 204 (unless it gets remodeled), this is a great family experience.

What a great place to stay, we got the two bedroom and the porch was absolutely huge. It was overlooking the ocean, the room were very big and the living room and dining room were spacious too . I will definitely return.

This place is fantastic! I love everything about it. It's definitely one of the nicest resorts I've ever stayed at. It's right on the beach, with amazing views of the ocean from both the patio and the front door. You can hear the waves day and night, which is soothing. There's a covered walkway and elevator which leads to a beach boardwalk. So many things here seem to have been recently updated. There's new paint inside and out, new furniture, lovely pictures, ample bedding, a variety of kitchen dishes, utensils and cookware, even high quality soaps and soft towels. There were fun events planned all week including a cookout by the pool, mini spa treatment (small fee for these but worth it), and welcome reception with free donuts. Everything is exceptionally clean! The condo is tidy, including the hallways, elevator, office, pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard area, exterior bathrooms, and beach boardwalk the staff is so friendly! They've been so helpful and polite, it's made me feel welcome. Any little thing we need is taken care of right away. They've checked out equipment to us, helped us reserve the spa treatment, provided snacks, even cane within minutes to make the sliding glass door easier to open. When a guest commented the heated pool was not warm enough, staff raised the temperature and checked back with guests to make sure it was to their liking. Only downsides are that the fridge is older and has a few rust spots on the outside (but functions perfectly, this is just cosmetic), and there were repairs being conducted next door which caused some noise. Overall this is a wonderful beach resort, and I highly recommend staying here.

I've heard the event used to be held at a different venue, but many people seem thrilled with the move to this location. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. You really can't go wrong with an event held near the water, even if you don't get a direct view since there's no actual windows upstairs(that I've noticed). The space is elegant, well-designed, and consistently organized to perfection each year. Everything runs smoothly, from valet parking at the entrance to easy access via stairs or elevator. The second floor is mostly hallways with large ballrooms throughout, making it easy to navigate between spaces. Overall, it's always such a fun and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a special event or function--you won't be disappointed.

The only availability they had was for Saturday morning at 9 am for 60 minutes. I agreed and made the booking. I asked if we would have access to the other amenities at the spa and they informed that it was a small spa, but you could have access to the pools. The day of the massages we arrived early to fill out paperwork, changed and sat in the relaxation room until it was time for our appointment. They did offer us complimentary water, tea, and cookies. I think at 9 am they could have offered light breakfast pastries instead of cookies and brownies as I know they serve breakfast upstairs. When it was time for the massages, they put my husband and I in separate rooms. I was under the impression that booking a couples massage we would be in the same room. The massages themself were nothing impressive. The staff outside the room were pretty noisy sounded like they were stocking things and talking. Someone even walked into my husband's room during his massage. When we went to check out the person checking us out looked like she might have been training, but she was also not the most pleasant. A 20% gratuity is already included so we paid almost $400. for 2 60-minute massages that were just mid. Not worth the price especially when they don't have any other amenities to offer besides the pool.

We were hoping for a 3:00 check-in but the room wasn't ready until almost 4:30. We were about to head up to the room when the elevator went on the fritz. The repair company was called and we finally got in the room around 7:30. We are on the fifth floor facing the ocean. The view is fabulous and the breeze heavenly. The sun setting was stunning and the full moon was bright and illuminating I'm hoping to see the turtles arrive tonight. The hotel staff is burying the seaweed so the guests on the beach don't have to endure the seaweed on the beach. This is quite the added touch they provide for their guests who are enjoying the lounge chairs etc they can rent. All in all, this is a lovely location and the rooms appear to be updated and renovated. The furniture is comfy and the beds are great. I am staying in the second room that has twin beds and they are just right with firmness. The pool is nice and there is a hot tub and recreational area to utilize. And of course, lots of tables all over to use if you want to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. They have barbecue grills too. We stopped at the grocery store and purchased provisions prior to arrival so we are set. They have a great kitchen in the unit with everything you need for cooking and plenty of dishes and items for cooking. If your looking for a getaway check this place out but book quickly as they were 100 percent occupied.

I don't think they are ready to be an all-inclusive yet. I didn't have a terrible vacation, but I…read moredon't feel like I got my money's worth or that this "resort" delivers everything it promises. First, my feet and ankles are covered in tiny, incredibly itchy bug bites. I'm a born Floridian who lives about 90 minutes away, so I know Florida bugs. These aren't mosquito bites; they look more like flea bites. This is a pet friendly property and they need to be treating the grass. Update: I called to open a complaint and they said they'd be in touch. I expressly said I'm not looking for payment or a refund or anything like that. I just want to make sure they're aware. It's been a week and I've received no call back. Enjoy your fleas, I guess. The good: the rooms are really nice-large, clean, with good-sized closets and balconies. But there was one tiny hand soap for two sink areas, no shower soap, and a half-empty shampoo bottle that clearly hadn't been replaced. The bathroom also needs work..peeling paint, peeling shower floor, etc. But overall, the room was the best part. The restaurant situation was abysmal. There is one actual restaurant, a buffet, where guests cannot access the drink machines, so you have to wait for a server even for a soda. The service was terrible at every single meal. My first night, my server took my order immediately but never brought it; I left 35-45 minutes later after two plates and dessert. At another meal, I flagged down a server and asked for a drink, watched him serve other tables with drinks, then had to ask again--he said he had forgotten mine. The next meal, I got one small drink (less than a can of soda) but never saw the server again for a refill. At my final meal, no one approached me for 20 minutes, and I didn't get my drink until I was finished eating. If the servers aren't going to serve drinks, you can't gatekeep the drinks. I'm talking about a Diet Coke, not a fancy cocktail. The food options are extremely limited. The buffet is essentially identical every day, which for breakfast is fine, but lunch and dinner are largely the same as each other too - and the same daily. The other "restaurants" are shipping containers: one serves hamburgers and hot dogs, much of which is also at the buffet; the other serves nachos, tacos and quesadillas. Those are places to grab something quick, not restaurants. This large property has only two pools. The adults-only pool was completely full my first day, leaving the loud family pool as my only option. On other days, they allowed children into the adults-only pool anyway, which defeats the purpose. The bar situation was also abysmal for an all-inclusive. There is one actual full bar, next to the main building and the buffet. There's another bar just inside, but it's essentially a continuation of the first bar through a set of doors. There's also a bar in the American-food shipping container and a small window bar by the adult pool, but neither was a full bar. Everything except the main bar closes at 6 p.m. For a property this large and an all inclusive hotel, that isn't enough. There are activities, but not enough to keep you entertained unless you want to be at the pool 8 hours/day. Yes, you can go from tennis to pickleball to basketball, but nobody is doing physical activities back-to-back for hours. Most other activities are for children, and it's not like several are happening at once giving you options. They also don't publicly post the schedule, so you don't know until you get there. Some activities I tried had two people show up and were canceled. Finally, at check-in, I was told I could call that morning to see if a 2 p.m. checkout was available, but I would FOR SURE get noon. When I called, 2 p.m. wasn't available "for my room," which was fine. But suddenly noon was presented as something they were graciously "giving me". I was told I could give up my room at noon but stay at the resort until 3 p.m. for another $50. I didn't have a terrible vacation. The property has potential and the staff was very nice. But I expected more. Right now, it feels like they're calling it an all-inclusive resort before they've built out enough of a resort to make that make sense.
