Love this place! It's quiet, friendly, the spots are large enough for anything and it's very close to anywhere you'd like to go. The beach is only minutes away but the surrounding area is a nice rural look. There is a pool, tennis court, shuffle board, basketball court and a community fire pit. (Check with front desk or website for details about campsite fires.) There is also a shower house with 3 private showers, 3 toilets and 4 sinks. It's nice and tiled and cleaned often. A laundry is available with varying sizes of washers and dryers. Bring your own laundry detergent or buy at the camp store, there are no machines to buy any. The machines take quarters, which are available at the camp store. There is also an ATM there, as well as well stocked shelves with some camping essentials and odds and ends a person may need. The spots include rental units, rustic cabins, pull thrus, spots for rv's of all classes and tents. There is plenty of room between spots to feel private. Mail service is available for any person staying, just let the office know so they will expect it. Spots are available for short term or long term rental. Get on the list! Spots go quick in the winter! A restaurant is on grounds (Charlene's Coyote Grill) and it is AMAZING! Prices are great, portions are more than enough and the food tastes great. There is live music available throughout the week, either karaoke or musicians, and it's a great place to meet others. The staff is friendly and works hard to keep the grounds clean. There is no dog walk but they say they are planning to put one in and it should be done by 12/1/17. The campground is nice enough to walk your dogs and get them some exercise. Max 6 ft leash on them and don't forget your poo bags. Clean up after your animals! This is home to alot of people. Keep it clean, please! A leashless dog park is available at Lynngate Park, as well as other places. There is also a leashless beach at Walton Rock Beach. This place is a hidden gem and we are so grateful we found it.

We had dinner there one night and other than getting too adventurous with the Wagyu Ribeye cap on a hot stone, our meal was great. Breakfast at Cobalt both mornings was delicious as well. Pool was small, but fit us perfectly for a couple's trip. I could see it getting crowded when children. The beach area was small and secluded, but service was great. We were upgraded to a King Studio Suite which was extremely generous and welcomed due to us celebrating my wife's birthday along with some other things. Front desk was helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Walking distance to several other local favorites. Being able to fly into Vero Regional and have a quick Uber to the hotel was also an added benefit. Would definitely entertain staying here again.

Shout out to Cassie, Rosie and Joey with Valet who remembered Bailey's name immediately. We were offered champagne at check in and given a nice map of the grounds. The resort itself is a little on the older side but all the amenities are still well kept. With my IHG status, we were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and some sweets. The room was clean and had a huge dining room and kitchen area. It had all the essentials for a homey and comfortable stay. We loved that there were dog treats and little gift pouches in the reception area. The pool area is big and had pleasant lounge chairs. The gym is missing a trendmill, there are bikes for cardio but not great options. The restaurant we had breakfast at was pretty good. The chicken and waffles was amazing and the bagel sandwich was delicious.

I've heard the event used to be held at a different venue, but many people seem thrilled with the move to this location. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. You really can't go wrong with an event held near the water, even if you don't get a direct view since there's no actual windows upstairs(that I've noticed). The space is elegant, well-designed, and consistently organized to perfection each year. Everything runs smoothly, from valet parking at the entrance to easy access via stairs or elevator. The second floor is mostly hallways with large ballrooms throughout, making it easy to navigate between spaces. Overall, it's always such a fun and memorable experience. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a special event or function--you won't be disappointed.

The only availability they had was for Saturday morning at 9 am for 60 minutes. I agreed and made the booking. I asked if we would have access to the other amenities at the spa and they informed that it was a small spa, but you could have access to the pools. The day of the massages we arrived early to fill out paperwork, changed and sat in the relaxation room until it was time for our appointment. They did offer us complimentary water, tea, and cookies. I think at 9 am they could have offered light breakfast pastries instead of cookies and brownies as I know they serve breakfast upstairs. When it was time for the massages, they put my husband and I in separate rooms. I was under the impression that booking a couples massage we would be in the same room. The massages themself were nothing impressive. The staff outside the room were pretty noisy sounded like they were stocking things and talking. Someone even walked into my husband's room during his massage. When we went to check out the person checking us out looked like she might have been training, but she was also not the most pleasant. A 20% gratuity is already included so we paid almost $400. for 2 60-minute massages that were just mid. Not worth the price especially when they don't have any other amenities to offer besides the pool.

Club Med Sandpiper Bay - Walking from breakfast back to room by the bay

Club Med Sandpiper Bay

Our stay at Sandpiper Bay All-Inclusive Resort from July 1-5, 2026, was overall a very enjoyable…read moreexperience. We understand the property is undergoing an impressive transformation from its former Club Med days, and it's clear that a great deal of work has already been invested. Most of the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we left feeling optimistic about the resort's future. One of the highlights of our stay was the food and all inclusive amenities. The main dining hall offered a wide variety of fresh, flavorful options throughout the day, and we were consistently impressed with the quality. The food at the box car stations--especially the tacos and burger offerings--was phenomenal. The drinks were also excellent, and overall the experience exceeded our expectations. During our stay, I had the opportunity to share a few suggestions directly with one of the assistant managers: * Coffee availability: It would be wonderful if coffee were available overnight or before the café opens at 6:45 AM. Many guests are early risers, and having access to coffee before sunrise would be a much-appreciated convenience. * Ice water availability: While there are water stations throughout the property, the water is not chilled. During the Florida summer, readily available iced water is almost a necessity, particularly during the period between breakfast ending and the bars opening. We also reported an issue with the air conditioning in our two-bedroom suite (Room B134) to the front desk. Unfortunately, the concern was simply acknowledged without much discussion. The front bedroom receives very little airflow because of the extremely small air vents, making it difficult to keep the room comfortable in the Florida heat. We discovered that partially closing the vent in the main living area redirected enough airflow to noticeably improve the temperature in the bedroom. This suggests the system could likely benefit from balancing or redesigning the airflow. I hope management will consider addressing this issue, as it would significantly improve guest comfort in these suites. There were also a few operational areas that deserve attention: * Pool rule enforcement: The infinity pool has clearly posted rules at the entrance, but they were not being followed or enforced. Throughout our stay we observed children of all ages--including babies and teenagers--in the adults-only area, guests bringing pets inside the gated pool area, and people entering the pool with drinks. The rules themselves seem reasonable, but they lose their purpose if no one monitors or enforces them. * Pets: Some guests allowed their dogs to roam without leashes outdoors. The dogs were huge. I'm not sure, but I think they may have been mastiffs, easily as big as I am and I considered them a threat to my little 9 pound Yorkie. I'm not sure if the Resort has a leash policy or not, but if it does, better enforcement would help ensure everyone's safety and comfort. * Solara Bar operations: The Solara Bar should consistently open at its posted opening time. During busy weekends and holidays, one bartender simply isn't enough. Adding a second bartender--or even a nearby satellite service station--would greatly reduce wait times and improve the guest experience. The one issue that concerned us most involved food safety in the buffet. On more than one occasion, we observed children serving themselves without adult supervision. They piled up their plate with bacon and other things, leaving, almost none for other guests, but the most concerning incident involved two young girls repeatedly picking up strawberries with their hands, dropping them onto the floor, and then placing the strawberries back into the serving bowl for other guests. While children will naturally be children, this creates an obvious food safety concern. I would strongly encourage the resort to require children to be accompanied by an adult at the buffet and to have staff periodically monitor the serving areas. Even simple signage reminding guests to use the serving utensils and supervise children would go a long way toward maintaining sanitation. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. The improvements already made to Sandpiper Bay are evident, and the resort has tremendous potential. The quality of the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere made for a memorable vacation. Most of our suggestions involve operational details rather than major shortcomings, and we hope they are received in the constructive spirit intended. Addressing these items would elevate what is already a very good resort into an exceptional one. We look forward to seeing how Sandpiper Bay continues to evolve.

We even spotted dolphins in the bay during our stay! Truly a great fit for any occasion, whether you're visiting for a girls trip (which we were), there with family, on a romantic getaway or a corporate retreat. Also, a very easy drive on your own or in a ride share to many popular areas with shopping, restaurants as well as beaches.

Plus, in general, it's convenient to most everything being right off Route 70 and its a not far drive to downtown Fort Pierce, as well. Check in was easy. They honored our reservation and let us check in a bit early (we had selected our room in advance, on line). As Diamond members, we also (each) received a bottle of water and a snack choice. The room itself was fine. Although the one double bed was small, there was also a pull-out sofa in the room. It was nice to have a fuller size refrigerator, microwave, and a kitchen with silverware, etc. along with a coffee maker. The bathroom had a shower only (sink and toilet of course, too), but that was fine. The hotel itself is only about 8 months old, so everything is fairly new. We didn't use any housekeeping services for the couple days we were there, but we didn't need anything. Breakfast is included with the hotel stay. There are a number of choices of breakfast sandwiches and a breakfast empanada, too along with cold and hot cereals, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and waffles, as well as muffins and breads to toast. This was a nice added value. A nice touch was a water bottle refill station right outside of the exercise room. And for families, they also have a laundry room attached to the fitness center which is a nice convenience. We'd stay here again if next in the area and needed to be nearby.

Heather was outstanding in answering our questions before and after we booked, and welcomed us immediately upon arrival. With only 4 cottages, this place is quiet and cozy, and perfectly located. Cottage 4 is closest to the beach, but I don't believe there is much of an actual view. I could be wrong. We were in Cottage 1 which is closest to the road, but hidden behind shrubbery for peace and tranquility, and offers the most privacy away from the other cottages. Our cottage had absolutely everything we needed - plates, utensils, plastic wrap, seasonings, electric lighter for barbecuing, bowls, pitchers, lots of books, extra light bulbs and toilet paper, a tea kettle, microwave, dishwasher, stove, oven, full sized fridge, and a hairdryer in the bathroom. Even the beach towels, chairs, and umbrella were of nice quality and clean. We ordered Uber each time we wanted to go in to downtown Orchid Island and typically paid about $7 each way. Uber doesn't understand the exact address so just tell your driver you're at the corner of Ocean and Sea Gull when he/she contacts you. Overall, this has been a truly pleasurable long weekend at Seahorse. We are still here with two more nights to go, and loving every minute of it!
