This trip is a must if you are visiting Florenzia. Excellent day or half day trips that include a Tuscan lunch under a large trellis restaurant outdoors on a hilltop. Then on to a castle for a wine and olive oil tasting. Excellent guides that safety guide you through the Chianti back roads. LA vida loca.

What a great ride we had with Ben. Our wine tasting and tour through the castle with Naomi was awesome, we learned so much and she was a lot of fun. Our Vespa ride at sunset was more than we expected. We followed Ben through some of the most beautiful country side and saw an amazing sunset. These guys are top notch. We would definitely recommend take a ride with them

Amazing experience with Tom as our guide. I'd recommend doing the Vespa your because the bike seems like a lot of work and the Vespa was so much fun! My wife and I did it and she's never ridden any motorcycle before- she picked it up in 5 mins and was cruising! This is a MUST.

Major league hills, many dirt roads, that are easily scaled by the E-bike...however caution must still be taken as many roads are very narrow and you will be competing with traffic in a few areas. Getting out of the city is a bit tricky but once your through the navigation is pretty intuitive with the map provided and running on a GPS AP from your mobile phone. Bring an extra battery for your phone as the GPS pulls a lot of power. Enjoy lunch in the town of Fiesole and a swim in the pool at the vineyard...that was a major highlight as we were in the midst of heat wave. The Owner and Magician - John - at Ebikes is the friendliest and most helpful person you can ever meet. We had an issue with a bike in Fiesole and John was there in 1/2 hr to repair...he road to us on his own bike and was un-phased by the issue as he greeted us with a smile! Saddle bags provided to carry extra stuff...like plenty of water bottles, camara and bathing suit. ....Enjoy a glass of Vino poolside and dream of the days highlights. Bravo EBIKES !!!!

We were lucky to get 3 spots. Though it def helps to have motorcycle skills, as long as you can skillfully ride a bike, you should be ok. If not, pair up! Main tips are make sure you book a spot, brush up on cycling skills and locate the business... it was hard to find for us. The address on the map took us to the wrong end of the block. Otherwise we enjoyed it thoroughly.

That's what I thought...until we arrived in Tuscany the day before and drove through the tiniest, windiest roads with local Italian drivers! So you can imagine how nervous I was when we checked into the store before the tour. I didn't want to cancel because it was something my husband and older son wanted to do. We met Mauricio and Alexa at the store. Both were really friendly and Alexa was straightforward with me. She warned me it would be the same conditions riding the vespa, as it was when we drove the day earlier. But she said they would assess our skills once we got to the location. After a 30 minute drive, we arrived at the beautiful Fattoria San Pancrazio. Here they took us on a short tour of the amazing wine process and cellars. I can't remember the name of our guide, but he was charming and friendly. Afterwards, Alexa and Mauricio took us to the driveway to take the driving test. No one in our 12 person group drove a Vespa before (or recently), so Alexa did a short demonstration. I, of course, didn't pass the 1st time but I was totally ok with it. The vespa is not easy to drivr at all. I definitely wouldn't be confident driving my younger son behind me. Out of the group, only 4 people passed as drivers. At no point was anyone upset or mad, in fact, I think we were all relieved to know that Alexa and Mauricio were looking out for our safety and those around us. They made arrangements for everyone to ride with another driver and then we we were off. I was paired up with Marco, one of the senior workers at San Pancrazio. He was amazing and I learned so much about his passion for the products they make. I was completely terrified the entire time, but he made me feel safe. We stopped for pictures halfway through and then made our way back for lunch. Lunch was simple but satisfying and we got to try some excellent wines. I even bought 2 bottles and a bottle of olive oil. Overall, I think this is an amazing experience that everyone should try. I don't understand the bad reviews regarding not being able to drive. The company is all about safety and they really care about the people on their tours. On our ride, there was an inpatient local truck and car tailing behind us. If you weren't condidently driving the vespa, someone could've gotten hurt. They are protecting you, as well as their livelihood! When I come back to Florence, I will definitely do another of their tours (just as long as I'm not driving the vespa myself lol). Thank you to the staff of Tuscany Cycle and Fattoria San Pancrazio for an unforgettable time.

My fiancé and I have never operated a Vespa before and we decided to walk into Florence Station rental at 5pm to book a Vespa for a few hours. Lucky for us, there was one Vespa available and we were able to use it despite the shop closing at 5:30pm! Yuri (I believe this is the owner's name) was very accommodating and generally just great to work with. His English is excellent since he has a wife and child living in Hawaii, he's also visited California (my home state) multiple times. Since it was our first time on a Vespa, he made sure to get us comfortable with using the vehicle by teaching my fiancé and riding with him around the block! His instructions were fantastic. Honestly, the streets of Florence are kind of scary to drive around in, especially during rush hour traffic. Yuri gave us a route and a map that we can follow and basic traffic instructions. Luckily, my fiancé is tall and was able to operate the Vespa smoothly. A tip from me is to book a Vespa early in the day (or online). This shop is popular and vehicles may not be available. The countryside is better to be traveled early in the day when there is still light out. The shop does close at 5:30pm so any rentals late in the day will be charged "sunset pricing" but keys can still be return after the shop closes via a special "key hole" in the gate.
