We had the pleasure of touring Tuscany with We Drive You Tuscany. Roberto was our driver and we had a beautiful Mercedes van that was new and comfortable. Bottled water was provided and he even stopped to get Fresh pizza for us. By the time we finished touring with Roberto for two days we felt that we knew so much about the area, history and culture of the region. Roberto's knowledge or art, history, food and culture was so impressive. The tour we did with Roberto was much more than him driving us from place to place. Each place we went was so carefully planned and curated. We visited wineries, vineyards and a sheep farm that makes cheese. With his help, we were able to visit every place we wanted to see as well as some smaller unknown, hidden gems. We saw so many beautiful landscapes and Roberto stopped frequently for us to take in the views! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Roberto. Misleading. We booked a luxury van with WiFi for 5 hours and were told we would get one of three luxury types. Instead, we got a basic Renault Traffic with standard bench seats. No WiFi. No water. NOT luxury. Pretty uncomfortable. Disappointing given that is the primary reason behind booked them. We also were told we'd get an English speaking driver with knowledge of the area. The driver spoke broken English and couldn't answer questions. I would have booked somewhere else if I knew all of this upfront. Other places had comparable pricing. On the positive side, the driver was on time and nice but those are the basics. read more

Needed a van to carry my wife and me plus 8 bags from Siena to the Florence airport. The driver showed up early, loaded all the bags and safely got us to the airport in plenty of time. When we arrived at the airport he found us a cart to carry all the luggage to check-in. This was such a great tour that I'm going to write a review! Emanuele picked us up in a nice spacious Mercedes van at our hotel in Tuscany and took us to great places that are off of the beaten track of most tourists. One such place was the private home of local farmer and chef Alessandro, where he prepared a spectacular lunch made from food he has raised and grown. His olive oil, his salami, his balsamic vinegar aged more than 20 years. The view from his Villa was stunning. I highly recommend this unique experience. read more

If you need private driver with car, highly recommend to book We Drive You Tuscany. You can trust them. I visited Tuscany from US, it was the first time to visit Tuscany. My schedule was quite complicated, so I was worried if I could communicate enough with the driver. However, owner Tomas and the drivers adjusted the time and location depending on my schedule, so I was able to finish all the meetings without any difficulty. And I was able to look around Tuscany more efficiently because the drivers recommended places where I could see good scenery along my route. Tuscany is a vast area that you can never travel alone. The road is narrow and winding, making it a difficult terrain for beginners and first-time visitors to Tuscany. The price was very reasonable, and it was not a waste at all. Maurizio was a fantastic guide and driver. He had a wealth of knowledge for Tuscany and the stops on the tour. The lunch at the boutique winery, Azienda Agricola Rocca, in Chianti was like a dream or a movie. Eating lunch amongst the olive trees and eating the homemade food was a highlight of our trip. The second winery, I Fabbri di Susanna Grassi had some of the best Tucson wines we have ever had. We even ordered some for our son's wedding this summer! Traveling to a foreign country is a rewarding experience, but it can also be a little overwhelming to plan. Most savvy travelers can figure out the popular sites to see, but the biggest challenges are the logistics of how to get to places and how to find the hidden gems off the beaten path. Sure, you can read tips from travel books or blogs online, but your best bet is to hire Tomas. As your personal driver in Tuscany, you can be rest assured that not only will everything be taken care of, but you will have the most memorable experience during your visit. The Good: As a local to Siena, Tomas knows Tuscany inside and out. He took the time to understand the purpose of my visit and what I wanted out of my tour. He designed my tour based on my personal interests. This is not a "one size fits all", cookie cutter kind of tour... he coordinates the tour to make sure you get exactly what you want. We drove along the picturesque Laurentana Road and visited the abbey of Monteoliveto which had frescos from 1444 ad, ancient library and medieval pharmacy. Then we went wine tasting in Montalcino, stopped for lunch, and checked out the quaint town of Pienza where I sampled delicious pecorino cheese. The Bad: My limited funds. :) If I could, I would hire Tomas for a whole week! Alas, I could only afford him for an afternoon tour. The great thing is that you have a choice to either go for 4 hours or 8 hours. I originally signed up for 4, but once we got out there, I wanted more! Luckily for me, Tomas was available and my tour was extended. The Unbelievable: Tuscany is absolutely gorgeous, and there is so much to see. Where a tour with Tomas differs from the others is that he explains mostly everything you need to know while you're driving. Unlike typical bus tours, he's able to stop along the way so that you can take photos. We stopped at least 10 times to capture some majestic views straight out of a postcard/calendar/movie! Not only is Tomas friendly, he is extremely knowledgable and professional. Once you get to your location, you are free to roam on your own... Soaking up the beauty of Tuscany and experiencing the joy of Italy as it is meant to be! No head phones or annoying "follow the flag" guides.... with Tomas, you get to experience Tuscany as a sophisticated traveler and you return from this tour truly enriched with the treasures of the area. When I saw that my original plan was starting to fall apart, I called Tomas. He truly came to my rescue!!! He made a special arrangement to find me in Montepulciano and he ended up driving me all the way to Rome. (I even got an Italian lesson on the way.) We had friends who had used Tomas and his company and had recommended them. A GREAT suggestion! We used them for three days. The first and last day was a transfer first from Florence to Siena and then Siena back to Florence. The middle day was an unbelievable wine tour to the Tuscany region. We had Dario as a driver. He was first of all, extremely professional. He was knowledgeable about the area, and explained the areas as we traveled. He tailored the tour to us, not the other way around. It was just myself and my husband, so we truly had a very personalized tour. The Tuscany region is beyond what words can describe. We took pictures of almost everything. Dario was more than willing to be our " personal paparazzi ". Communication with Tomas was prompt, and he was able to offer suggestions of areas for us to research our preferences for our tour. We hired Wedriveyou.it for a full day. We planned our trip to include a couple wineries, lunch, a visit to Siena, and dinner in San Gimignano. Our driver, Dario, was the greatest. He was so knowledgeable of the area, providing commentary along the beautiful drive. He called ahead to our various stops to be sure we didn't have any problems. Even though our day was jammed full, he provided a relaxed atmosphere and got us to all our destinations. He suggested a wonderful local cafe for a quick breakfast before we got started. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. In fact, it turned out to be our favorite day of our 16 day tour across Italy, Croatia, and Greece. Additionally, booking with them was extremely easy. We travelled to Italy with 4 couples. Tomas was our driver for 2 weeks. He went above and beyond.. Before arriving in Italy, Tomas arranged many of our excursions. This saved us money and time. We went many places we would have never known existed. For example, he took us to a vinegar tasting in Modena with a light lunch which was lovely, arranged for a cooking class and a winery tasting with lunch. I love "We Drive You Tuscany". My daughter was studying aboard and needed to get to Florence and it was 11PM. I called Tomas and he answered the phone and got a driver to drive my daughter from Siena to Florence in the middle of the night! I don't know what we would of done if Tomas was not able to take her. We just returned from a fabulous day spent with Tomas touring the lovely Tuscany region. Our day began in Firenze with a pickup at our hotel followed by a stop at the beautiful palace gardens that overlook the city. Amazing views to be had from this point. From here we left the city to visit several wonderful hilltop mid evil cities including Siena and San Gimignano. We spent time at each village shopping, eating gelato and exploring the incredible ancient buildings that reflect the Midi-evil, Renaissance, and Byzantine periods. We ate a wonderful lunch in Siena and after visiting the sites there headed off to wine taste. Wine tasting was a really fun experience in itself. Quite tasty Chiantis and super Tuscans. Tomas was an absolute delight and was very informative about Italian history, wine, and everyday topics. He was a joy to talk to. My husband and I had Tomas' services for a day, exploring the Val D'Orcia beautiful side of Tuscany. Tomas was very prompt with responding to my messages, and suggested a great itinerary based on our personal preferences. We were based in Florence, and this was not a problem for him (as it was for some other private services I contacted to get quotes). He picked us up at our Airbnb rental in Florence, and we headed out for a full day of exploring the beautiful and unique scenery and wine country. It was just the most lovely day. Roberto picked us up at our hotel in Florence at 9am and drove us to the medieval town of San Gimignano with spectacular views of the lavish Tuscan countryside, enriching education of the medieval architecture and towers, and the world famous gelato at the Gelateria Dondoli. We then left for Siena where we were met with a wonderful tour of Roberto's hometown. He, of course, knew all of the historical information about Siena, the Pailo, the Piazza del Campo, the Siena Duomo, the museums, art and cuisine. We had delicious homemade pici pasta at the romantic Campagnia dei Vinattiere restaurant. The educational and enjoyable tour was yet more interesting because Roberto engulfed us in his love for his beautiful Siena. Roberto drove us back to our hotel about 6pm.
