Rural enough for ambiance, but it's not so out of the way that you're screwed if you forgot something and need to run to the store because you're 2 hours away from civilization - if you know what I mean. Rural setting also meant there was no electricity. Everything ran off generators. Rural setting also meant there were no street lights . . . or street signs . . . or a street. Make sure your headlights are working and that you're not scared to drive on an unlit, country, dirt road at night. No alcohol allowed unless you make prior arrangements - which includes hiring a licensed bartender and signing a liability contract. The staff was very clear about the rules and consequences. Although this didn't affect us, I was taken aback at the threat of having the police called if alcohol was found on the premises. Gotta love Utah. No drones allowed - in case you were wanting drone footage for aerial photographs or videography. Apparently, the venue is located in military restricted air space. Parking was minimal. Kitchen was smallish. Only matters, I guess, if you plan to self cater - which my daughter chose to do. Pre-decorated (country Pintrest style). Staff was pleasant.

This was my first time at the Cinebites event and overall, it was ok. I think the experience could…read morehave been better and I'll outline why. When bought the tickets, there was no indication as to what was on the menu. One of the people in my group has a nut and shellfish allergy, but there was no where on the ticket purchase screen to note this. Normally, reservations would have this option to make sure they can prepare ahead of time. I took a chance and hoped they would ask this when we arrived. We came as a party of four to the Lady and the Tramp movie and the event was listed from 6:30-9:00 but doesn't mention when the doors would open. We arrived at 6:15 thinking that we could sit down and use the facilities before the movie started, but the doors were locked and there was no sign. Several other customers did the same and I assume they were under the same impression. Would have been helpful in the email communication to let customers know when the doors open so they aren't arriving too early and having to wait. When we sat down, the hostess let us know it was open seating and to not leave too many gaps, which is fine, but their setup was not exactly couple friendly. Each table could seat 3 people and since we were a group of 4, the 4th person had to sit in the next table, which felt a little disconnected. One small popcorn bag was placed for every 3 people, so if you had a 4th person in the group, they would have either shared with the group they came with or with a stranger. The menu was on each table, there were no ingredients or allergy mentions. The menu looked standard and the dishes listed don't typically have any shellfish or nuts. There were no announcements made when everyone arrived and no one to greet us other than the hostess at the front. We waited for a while and then at 6:52, the movie started. One the movie started playing, we noticed immediately that the speakers on the left side of the room weren't working. It was hard to hear the movie the rest of the night and I'm not sure if this was just a technical issue that day. When the food started arriving, we had one dish that had almonds and we had to ask the server to send it back because of the allergy. I asked if there were any more items on the list with shellfish or nuts, but they seemed confused at the ask and didn't know. This could potentially cause severe reactions and the Cinebites teams should take this in consideration. Luckily the salad was remade and no issues came up. When the movie was done, the staff came out with a microphone to thank everyone for coming and then had a parade of the staff. It was cool to see those that worked there to make things happen that evening. Now knowing they had a microphone, it would have been nice for them to welcome guests in at the beginning and given directions to those who have never been here before. While I know this is not to the same level as the other Movie and Dinner events out there, it was something new to try out and nice that Utah has something like this.

They streamed it from a laptop to the projector and we watched the movie in 720p the entire time. Just a little fuzzy. When going to a movie event I expect it to be a minimum of 1080p and honestly 4k but overall a fun experience.

They coordinated all the decor setup, install, and take down (most of which they provided as part of the package for the wedding). Everything looked stunning and so many people commented on how great the venue was! The only small glitch we had was some of the items needed for the bar setup were late arriving so some of the drinks didn't get as much action per se but overall it worked out. everyone had an absolute blast and it was so stress free for myself and groom! However, after my fiancé and I had such a negative experience, I feel it's important to share our story so others can be aware before considering this venue. We booked this venue nearly a year prior to our wedding during an expo. At the expo, the staff seemed disorganized and frazzled. No one could give us clear answers, and they kept asking each other questions. At the time, they were offering a deal on decor, and since I'm a full-time ER nurse and my fiancé is a firefighter/paramedic, neither of us had the time or desire to manage decor or greenery ourselves. So, we decided to go ahead with the venue and paid our deposit. After that, we never heard from anyone again--no follow-up or communication whatsoever. Several months later, my fiancé and I had some financial changes and decided to elope instead of having a big wedding. This was still eight months before the wedding date. We immediately reached out to the owner, who explained that while the deposit was non-refundable, she would refund it if the date was rebooked by the end of January. Since the date was the first Saturday in June, we had no doubt it would be booked by then. On February 2, my fiancé followed up, only to be told that the date had been booked, but the deposit could not be refunded. We feel this was unreasonable, given the ample notice we had provided and the fact that June is a prime wedding date. She strung us along for weeks, and then two days after the deadline, her tone completely changed. She became rude in emails and refused to compromise or work with us. We had mentioned multiple times that if we weren't getting our deposit back, we would need to reconsider our situation and keep our original date. But instead, she rebooked the date, took the new deposit, and informed us that our date was no longer available, meaning we would not receive any refund. My fiancé, being the kind-hearted person he is, tried to reason with her, explaining how upset and ripped off we felt. Her response was to send long, argumentative emails claiming she was in the right. The entire situation was handled very poorly and unprofessionally. In hindsight, I should have read the reviews on Google before booking. This entire experience has been incredibly stressful, especially during an emotional time when we wanted to celebrate our love the way we had hoped. All of our other vendors were understanding and happily refunded our deposits, wishing us the best. Unfortunately, the owner of The Fifth Floor did not demonstrate the same professionalism or tact. I hope this review helps others avoid the same frustration we went through.

Admission was practically free, and we enjoyed the several museums on-site. We loved the Browning-Kimball Cars Museum, which highlights the Golden Age of motorcar history with a display of unique and one-of-a-kind automobiles. We also enjoyed the Browning Firearms Museum, which showcases the legendary guns designed and manufactured by Browning Arms Company, located in Ogden for decades. The Utah State Railroad Museum was also fun and included many interactive exhibits that my boys loved. They also enjoyed watching the model railroad trains move around the various displays. We had a terrific afternoon at Ogden Union Station and had a great time exploring Utah's rich history together. Thanks!

Easiest five stars I have ever given! My sister just had her reception here and The Grandview did…read morenot disappoint. We hosted a late luncheon around 4:30 and they catered the most delicious meal--their cheese ravioli and chicken pasta was divine! Complete with salad and breadsticks and drinks. I know they offer other meals too that I'm sure are wonderful, but they knocked this one right out of the park! We arrived the night before to set up a few little things of our own: photos, picture book, arch where the bride and groom stand. But other than that, they had EVERYTHING decorated and ready to go. And boy oh boy was it BEAUTIFUL! Great lighting, stunning furniture, beautiful brick walls, clean bathrooms and bride-room. It was amazing. The best part was they really did everything in that department, all we had to do was show up and try to look as good as the venue itself! Mitzi & Scott are the owners and they are some of the nicest and easiest people to work with. Scott was the music magician all night and announced the program throughout. He did a fabulous job! And Mitzi was behind the scenes making sure everything ran perfect and smooth. They catered a waffle bar during the reception (again, deliciously perfect and my mouth is salivating while writing this) and even boxed up some for my cute mom to take home at the end of the night since she didn't get a chance to taste it. If you need a place to host anything, this is the one! TIPS & TRICKS: * It's in a great location! Movie theater, restaurants, indoor skydiving, and the Ogden Temple are not only within eyesight but also walking distance--they really live up to their name! So make a day of it, go enjoy Ogden :)
