I was able to WhatsApp them in the morning and a taxi was an available in 2 mins. I revived a call from the operator when the taxi arrived. it was a 15 mins drive. I had a small hand carry and a paper bag in the boot. The initial cost was €28 but the driver added €8 for the "call and luggage". I find that extortionate.

When we got to the airport the taxi driver said the cost was €44, even though the meter clearly indicated €32. He then proceeded to quickly erase the meter and to get impacient. After some unpleasant conversation we eventually ended up paying €40, since we had a flight to catch, knowing only too well that we were being robbed.
