JEI performed an assessment and followed up by going through the test in understanding why and assessed the logical processes (logic) the student was using in performing the task mathematical steps they make. In my mind this was the difference for my son. We went back to a tutoring service because my son was in danger of failing middle school math and was in IED (Special Ed). After a few months, he not only caught up but was beginning to accel. The program was so successful for him, he remained in the program for about 1.5 yrs and has had A's in math ever since. His success has carried on into his second year at Jesuit high where his now on the Honor Roll. His experience and work ethic he developed there is a direct result of his achievements in all of his subjects. But must also stress, parental support and keeping the your child accountable.
