PT1: I have two of my children enrolled here, and we have been part of the center for approximately six months. I want to start by acknowledging Ms. Allie, the director. She has consistently been helpful, respectful, and available when I have questions or concerns. I appreciate that she makes time for parents and has been responsive when I have brought things to her attention. That being said, I feel it is important to be honest about both the positive and negative experiences we have had. My youngest started in the Toddler class, and initially, we had a great experience. The teachers were kind during drop-off and pick-up, and communication was good. However, over time, I began noticing behaviors that raised concerns for me. I previously worked in a daycare setting, so I understand that different personalities and workplace dynamics exist. I am not concerned about normal staff disagreements or personalities. My concern begins when those dynamics affect how my child is treated. There is ONE specific teacher whose behavior toward my child has repeatedly been concerning. I have already voiced these concerns multiple times, yet I continue to observe interactions that I feel are inappropriate. My child has been ignored or not acknowledged, and there have been interactions that I would describe as hostile, aggressive, and unnecessarily full of attitude. Regardless of how a teacher may personally feel, that behavior should never be directed toward a child in their care. I want to be very clear: I am not asking for special treatment for my child. I am asking for the basic level of patience, kindness, respect, and professionalism that every child deserves. Children cannot choose the adults who care for them. As parents, we have to trust that when we leave our children here, they are going to be treated with compassion and respect. If a teacher is unable to provide that consistently, then that needs to be addressed by management. I also want to make it clear that this is NOT representative of all of the teachers here. Ms. Gloria and Ms. Cathy are absolutely AMAZING and are a tremendous asset to this center. They make drop-off easy, communicate well, and go above and beyond to make every child feel seen, safe, and cared for. They clearly understand that every child is different and needs different forms of support. You can tell that they genuinely love what they do. My youngest also sometimes spends time in the Infant class, and I have nothing but gratitude and respect for Ms. Amy. My child gets excited to see her, and that speaks volumes to me as a parent. She is loving, kind, attentive, and welcoming. She makes my child feel safe and cared for, even when I am not there. What I especially appreciate about Ms. Amy is that she goes out of her way to acknowledge children, even when they are not in her classroom. She greets them, makes them feel welcome, and helps wherever she can. She genuinely appears to love her job, and the children respond to that. Honestly, I wish my youngest had started with her because she is an AMAZING teacher. My oldest is in Ms. Rosa's and Ms. Kylie's class. Ms. Kylie is consistently welcoming, helpful, and communicative. She provides updates, gives me helpful information and tips, and makes an effort to keep me informed about my child. I appreciate that she takes the time to speak with me and answer my questions. She is extremely sweet, respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. read more

The love and affectionate my children get daily is the most reassuring thing a mother could ask for. My son started here at ten months old. I was struggling with post-partum anxiety and newly late-diagnosed with ADHD as some women are following a remarkable hormonal event. I had no idea what to expect I just knew I needed more support and I was limited on options for infant care. The Staff at Tutor Time Corona were essentially my co-parents for three years, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. My son is such a social, sensitive, outspoken, strong, and cautious child; all of his teachers have really supported that and brought it out for him. The director Joelle is protective, assertive, sweet, and flexible enough to work with all walks of life. There is not one teacher my son has had, from Infancy to T-K, that has ever rubbed me the wrong way or treated my son unfairly. In fact they only treated him with respect and like the sun shined out of his heart. I have worked here for 4 years but I started as a parent here for the last 6 years , 4 boys here , and 3 special need children, the patience the staff has always had with my children has been the reason I stay , but now the management is the reason I will never leave , my youngest is thriving , and my other boys know this as there second home during summer. This daycare/school always has fun events for parents and kids ! They hire highly qualified teachers :) Communication is always available and the app they use is great to see your kids on camera in class and get notified of what they eat or when they used the restroom and what class work they do! They have toy day on Fridays so kids can take their toys to school and share them with the class, they also have grandparent day and a lot more fun things ! By the time they go on to kindergarten they already know how to spell their name and are at the same pace or ahead of the class! read more

The fact that my daughter always loves going to day are here is the highlight of my year. The staff here always greats you with a good morning and have a great day. Ms. Joelle is a wonderful director for this facility and it's worth the time and effort they put in for the kids. The value is worth every smile that my daughter shows me. The service requested from me has always been met, and there has never been a problem with the staff with my daughter. She is potty training and they have been supportive of her every move under their care. My daughters have been attending Tutor time for going on 2 years now. At the beginning it was really hard for my little one she cried daily from mommy auntie separation. She'd never been cared for by anyone other than myself and my sister. But the Tutor time staff and her teacher were awesome. It did take her more than a couple weeks to stop the crying. But now she loves it she wants to go to school everyday she wants to see her friends and she wants to see her teachers! She has her FAV Mrs. Veronica and I love her too!! She's the best with my daughter! Mrs. Edith is another one of our family favorites so is Mrs. Amy Mrs. Allie and Mrs. Joelle the director can't forget about Mrs Sabrina the bus driver! Guys, there have been some awesome changes going on at this daycare! We have had our kiddo here since 2021. We did have some challenges with our kiddo and the staff was always kind and loving. There were some cosmetic things that bithered me but i was able to overlook them because of the care. That said, the past 6 months or so have been the best!!! The school is cleaner, brighter, inviting and definately looks like a place you would want to bring your child. A couple of staff members moved on and they are missed no doubt, the new administrator has so much energy and passion for these kiddos it feels like a whole new place! My kiddo has alot of energy, and is full of personality requiring alot of patience. With the changes that have been made, you can see and feel the rejuvenation of all the staff! Our kiddo will be starting Kindergarten and we unfortunately are moving otherwise I would never leave. I felt like I found a partnership in raising my kiddo! Shout Outs to Veronica, Edith, Surjit, Sabrina, Surfaq, Nichelle, and Joelle, I know I am missing a couple of folks and for that I am sorry! At first, this place was amazing then things started to go down when I showed up to pick up my son and he had a purple and almost shut-eye. The teacher dared to ask if I knew and obviously with me showing up and seeing my toddler with a swollen eye, OBVIOUSLY no I didn't know. There were two occasions when my son got a black eye. They always claimed my son would always bite and that he needed to learn how to talk but would never provide evidence. I feel like every child is at their own pace in talking and they would always set a high standard, and my son is learning but can communicate when he wants something. The director kept telling me to take my son to the doctor to get him evaluated for his behavior when I did take my son to the doctor, as the director would always beg me to, the doctor said that they shouldn't be asking me and tell me to take my son since they aren't anybody to diagnose my son. This school gave me so much trauma and made me lose trust issues with any other daycare. Staff would always be quick enough to write incident reports when my son would misbehave but when my son had a black eye or had marks on his body nobody wouldn't write an incident report to let me know what caused the marks on his body. In the cameras I can see the older kids always taking toys away from my son and hanging a book over my son and my son would never reach. Till my son's last day at that school, they have not shown me proof of how my son got his black due to lack of laziness having to go back to request the incident date and time and since there aren't any cameras outside, which I feel like there should be cameras outside on the playground, they cant provide evidence. read more

Today I toured this location in hopes of finding a school for my little one. I continue with my next train of thoughts for the administrative team at this location in hopes that they can improve and be a better fit for families. I was shocked first when I walked in and no one acknowledged my son who was with me ; then having to lead the tour myself, asking questions, waiting for responses and when I got responses, the responses were very general. Once understanding that Miss Sabrina (who was leading the tour)wasn't the only one who did tours, I had hoped that the principal or assistant principal would introduce themselves but they did not. Both were sitting in the office speaking the entire time. On top of that when Miss Sabrina asked a question, the way she was talked to by the administration was awful. I can only imagine what it's like working for these individuals. Now once we continued into the classroom, things were okay, very cluttered, messy, their nap mats were on the floor two hours before nap, and the outside areas was pretty small. I could have looked past a messy class and small playground but the feel in that front office was awful. I wish for any child to be met with love, Grace, acceptance and warmth and none of that was a feeling I got at all. read more

I have previously worked with Mrs. Sabera, she's an awesome infant/toddler teacher who does not work for a paycheck. She truely cares about her students and gets the job done. We need more people like her, as a parent/previous employee at Tutor Time I've witnessed how well and protective she is with all her students SIMPLY AMAZING. I would be at peace dropping off my child with her. Her infant and toddler students sense good energy and true comfort! Overall the center has had major improvements. Great things in business are never done by one person. They're done by a team of people with a solid foundation, firm leaders who acknowledge their staff and lead responsibly. I was visiting from Buffalo New York to assist my daughter in selecting a preschool/daycare for my granddaughter(age2 1/2). I was totally impressed with Tutortime. On September 1 two incidents that really stood out to me and was very comforting. When I entered the center, Joelle approached me advising my granddaughter had put sand in her hair. Her calm immediate approach was very comforting. Secondly, when I entered her classroom, she was crying. It was truly comforting to see Ms Angela(Angie) holding her in her arms. This showed me the care and concern that the staff has for the kids. The center is clean and bright. The communication with the parent is excellent. I feel this center shows concern,compassion, and dedication for the kids that they care for. I'm now back home in New York State feeling relieved that my granddaughter is receiving exceptional care. Been taking my kid here for about 8 months now. I love the schedule, flexibility and price. You can drop in any time and check up on them. You also get hourly updates to keep you in the know. I was planning to take him to TLC off Ontario Ave, but we've been on their wait list for 9 months now. I think we'll stay with Tutor Time. My boy seems to love this place. Edit: my boy loves his naps here. I check daily and he seems to nap from 12-230ish. Rosa is his favorite caretaker. One thing I just found out is, someone has been teaching him sign language. My daughter has been coming here since she was 6 months old. She started in the infant classroom and is now in the Toddler classroom. Each staff member has been kind, thoughtful, and caring every single day. My daughter lights up every morning when I tell her it is time to go to school. She adores the staff and I believe that is a true testament to how great they are with the kids. Our son just turned 2 and has been attending Tutor Time since he was 3 months old. The teachers in each classroom he has been in so far (infant, Ones, and Two's) are very attentive and patient with him. They are flexible when we have to change the days he attends. The Tutor Time in Corona is a danger zone! Do not bring your children here because you will be very unhappy. Sara Franz the Center Director and Arwin the assistant have the worse attitudes. They have no idea what being considerate is about to their clients and both are entirely FAKE in every way. They charge too much for tuition and don't really care about your children because they just want your money. They absolutely do not potty train, the meals they feed the kids resemble prison food, and the teacher to child ratio is fifteen to one. I have never dealt with a school that was so not for the kids and only for the money. All they feed them are cookies and crackers the entire day... probably to save on costs. If I can give this location zero stars, I would. Children get hurt all the time and are not watched carefully. There are TV monitors in Sara's office, but don't be fooled... it's only to seem like she cares because guess what.. she doesn't. RUDEST people I have ever dealt with. Please advise and spread the word about this place. The last thing we would want is to put our children in this type of atmosphere. read more

My daughter began going to Tutor Time 2 days a week from 7am-1pm in January 2013, she was 17 months old when she started. I love this center and I really feel comfortable with her there. Right after I signed her up they changed the management (different person, same company) and judging by the negative review before me, I think it was a good decision. My daughter has never shown any sign of being treated badly which was my main concern as I was abused as a child. My daughter has learned so much and I'm always surprised at the amount she learns from just being there two days a week. I hope to keep her here for a long time. read more

I came in to register at 6pm on a Monday and then was able to have him start the next morning. They were super helpful and sweet. They made me feel really comfortable leaving my 19 month old. I even called 3-4 times throughout the day and kept me at ease. After one day I feel very comfortable knowing that he is learning and developing social skills with other kids. read more

This center is beyond help!!!! My 3 different aged kids have been at this center for too long and this center helped to mold my oldest into a emotionally disturbed child. The amount of bullying they let go on at this school is ridiculous. Most of the teachers there don't last long because they are aware that the director in charge has no professional manner at all. The director yells at the children like there her kids, she yells at parents as though she has the right, and then when a parent has a reasonable concern it gets dusted away or dismissed. For years one of my children had told me they were being bullied by different children and I would talk to teachers time after time and have meetings with the director, nothing changed. Until recently there was a bullying situation that extremely concerned me so I brought it straight to the directors attention and she handled it by discussing it class wide instead of with the two direct children involved. Her final decision was made off of what another child said that had nothing to do with the situation. Mind you everything happened in front of a teacher who had no idea what happened. Months before a parent threatened to put his hands on my son in front of myself, a teacher in charge, and the assistant director. I immediately was going to call the police but ended up deciding not to after the director begged me to let her take care of it. The parent was supposed to be restricted from classrooms for a whole week but two days later I spotted him inside the same classroom as my son once again. The director is very unprofessional and definitely has some issues going on at home with her husband and it shows at work. The director says unprofessional things such as and I quote " your child is a lost cause" in front of other staff members as well. As an educator myself and much less years of experience than the director, I myself know that things you think should not ever cross your lips. The corporate manager above the director is not helpful either and says she's going to do things and never follows through. When ever a complaint is made they both are very good at putting on the face and making it seem as though it's going to be taken care of but then ignore it. A couple of the teachers are the directors little pets and are just as disrespectful and rude to parents and children,the teachers do not follow confidentiality like stated in the certificated paperwork. As before I left my child had a bad couple of days and two of the teachers were discussing my children and my parenting skills in public at the next door business El Super. Without them knowing I knew the person standing next to them, they continued to bash all three of my children's names and say I'm a bad mother. The fact that they talk about children's behavior issues in public and release their names is a violation of HEPPA. So as a pissed off parent. I decided my kids were going to be withdrawn after this school year, yet we never made it that far. The director decided she wanted to make a rational decision for one of my children and when I refused to sign a paper and told her I was waiting for her supervisor to call me back so things could be handled immediately she decided to call the police on me because I calmly and respectfully waited in the building for a returned phone call. Needless to say I didn't care at that point because I was already threw with this center. I stood their patiently waiting for the police as well, which was pointless in her defense because when police arrived I made it a positive thing for my kids as they asked the officers job related questions, received stickers and laughed in conversation the entire time until we left with class under our own time frame. So moral of the story, you'd be better leaving your child unsupervised in a dumpster than to leave them here. Not to leave out the spectacular younger aged teachers (3months-4 years). They're by far the best they have, at least until they quit like all the other numerous of teachers they've had in the past year alone. My son is 6 months old and has been at this location for about a month. So far I really like it. The ladies that watch my son are very sweet and send me a ton of updates through the day. He gets really excited when I bring him in the mornings, so I know that he enjoys it. The only thing that I would note is that the facility is a little dated and I would like to see new carpet in there...but in comparison to my son's happiness, the carpet isn't that important! read more

One star is even being to generous for this dump. I was forced to go to this place when I was a younger child. The children were little heathens and savages. The food was decent yet gross. They main food source they feed the children is cookies, rice crispy treats, and trail mix. The teachers were a little mean. One teacher even told us all to attack one girl because she was getting on the teachers nerves. This place is ragged and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If a parent truly loves there child they would not send them here. Also it is way overpriced. They don't even tutor there so I don't understand why they call it tutor time. Awful place to put your kids, they don't tutor students, there is no quiet place for kids to do their homework, staff are lazy, staff doesn't pay attention to the kids, and staff doesn't teach kids to respect each other, and staff can be unkind to the kids. The food is disgusting, they provide food lunch program snacks, they don't always give kids something to drink with their snack, and kids can't bring out their own meals with the lunch program meals due to certain guide lines. Staff doesn't know how to handle incident issues. Staff needs proper training. This place should not be called Tutor Time. read more
