Unhelpful, untrustworthy, unreliable, and dishonest. After months of emailing, by me, about work that was promised to be done, he went back in a written agreement/email. Work is still not done and he even admitted to not reading the emails with questions I had sent him. I would give zero stars if possible , the company was supposed to warranty work just done by Hollub Homes . We called over 30 + times over the last 4 months + no response at all , Sean provides the worst possible customer service it's not existent. They finally showed up 4+ months and did 10% of the work and left . I also hired them to clean the pool , guys shows up here 5 mins , drops chemicals and leaves doesn't clean pool , very bad experience. read more

Service was inconsistent. Frequently we would find that that serviceman did not clean the skimmer or hose filter, only spending a couple of minutes to net fallen leaves. Of major concern we found that our saltwater distribution system had failed when we were attempting to sell our home; never did Tuttle's inform us that the system was not working, despite coming to service our saltwater pool once a week. Still waiting for a call back! I called Tuttle's after receiving a strong recommendation from an office colleague. I actually called twice. That was over a month ago. They said they were backlogged and could not even schedule an appointment for another two weeks. They said they would call me back in two weeks to set up an appointment. I waited. It has been over a month and I am still waiting. In that month, I have gotten a different recommendation, gotten a design, and given a deposit to the other poolco that actually was interested in my business. Their loss. read more

We bought a house with a pool 2 1/2 years ago. We kept Tuttle's as our pool maintenance company and have been pleased thus far. Our pool cleaner comes reliably every Tuesday and keeps our pool in perfect condition. We use our pool everyday because we have a dog that loves to swim and play catch. I'm writing a review at 2 1/2 years later because we were so pleasantly surprised to have our pool cleaned on our regular schedule after Hurricane Irma. This review is only partially mine. The other belongs to my grandmother who switched to Tuttle's to service her pool. It started when her pump motor blew; probably as a result of the old service company. Regardless, Tuttle's was out at around 9am to look at the pump and by 10:30am it was being reinstalled. After switching to these guys they had come to check on her pool twice within 3 days of starting the service. I received the same swift attention when I needed to simply purchase a new pool filter. Building a new pool should be an exciting experience but so far it has been a very stressful and disappointing process. I cannot find a logical explanation for having so many pool companies being so unresponsive. Sean from Tuttle came to by house three weeks ago and was very professional. I was very sure he was going to be the guy. However, no response after that. I followed up three times and the last response I got was not to hold by breath because they were very busy. I don't understand this situation. If you are having so many business opportunities hire more people!!!! You have no idea how lucky you are that in the middle of this economic crisis you can afford the luxury of not responding to potential clients. This company has a lot of mixed reviews. Apparently their work is good and they get recommended a lot but there is a trend of being unresponsive. I think there is a management problem. read more

I service my pool, but anytime something is wrong with my system I call Tuttle and they come fast. About 5 years ago they changed my pump and filter, they did a grate job. About a month ago a part of the pump broke, I call Tuttle again, I was told the warranty was expired, anyway they came, order the part, installed the next day and didn't charge anything, even with the expired warranty. Great first visit, we needed a pool to be renovated. Mr. Tuttle came, but NEVER came back with a quote! I would cal numerous times, they would come with one excuse after another, that he was out of town, he would send it by the end of the week, or few days after, and would call back to say I never got a call, nor quote. Again would give me the run around! So from what friends have told, me took over his dads company, and obviously the son doesn't know how to run a cie, and keep potential customers! If you want to wait for over 2 months from the time you pay your deposit of nearly $1,000 for them to commence your pool project, then this is the pool company for you---NOT!!! When I called them to find out about the start date, I was treated in a hostile fashion, like don't I know it's been raining in South FL in the summer?? How dare I ask when they will commence?? Too bad for Tuttle pool company. If they had done a good job in a reasonably timely fashion, they could have serviced pools at both of my properties. read more
