During this time of uncertainty and financial troubles, It is great to find such an honest company in TV Guy Hialeah (6985 W 4 Avenue, 305-822-0622). I found them via yelp and reached out to them in reference to my 65 inch Samsung not powering on. They responded back to my request in less than an hour during the weekend. I decided to take my tv to them personally, since it was a cheaper diagnostic fee. They do provide at home service too, which is decently price as well if you don't want to haul your tv to the shop. They charge you a very decent deposit for reviewing the TV and if you choose to fix the TV with them they discount the deposit off the total. The technician went and plugged in my tv (using their cable) and my TV started working. That was it, a bad power cord. I recommend this company to anyone, who needs their tv repaired. This is the company for you! They could have just told us to come back later and they could have tested it on their own & told us something else was wrong with it so they could make money. If you are looking for an honest, family run business with fantastic customer service, this is the place for you. A few weeks ago, our 1.5 year old, out of warranty Samsung TV suddenly stopped working. My poor hubby, who works long hours and loves to unwind in front of the TV before bed, was beside himself, so I knew I needed to rectify this little nightmare right away. I immediately contacted Best Buy where we purchased it and was informed that they don't repair Samsungs. I then contacted Samsung directly and was referred to a Broward based service provider who had horrific reviews. Beyond frustrated, I feared that we were going to end up with a 65" paperweight. I was blessed enough to stumble upon the Yelp listing for TV Guys and I called them immediately. Although they were unable to come to our home, they encouraged me to drop off our TV so they could assess the problem. We found them to be consummate professionals and their fees are beyond reasonable ($40 to diagnose the issue, which was used towards the repair). They called the very same day to apprise us of the issue and did their best to get our TV repaired as quickly as possible, despite the fact that they needed to order parts at Christmas during the never-ending pandemic. I truly cannot say enough about this wonderful shop. It is nearly impossible to find a business with honest, knowledgeable people who take the time to call customers and keep them updated. Im not one to typically write a review unless I believe there is a good reason to. Heres my story. After the heavy storms, one of my TVs wouldn't turn on at all. The other tv was showing a blue screen but there was a cable outage so I thought that was related. I begin looking for TV repair online. I typically ook for a balance between previous customer reviews and pricing. I came across All Service Technicians. I called and setup an appointment and he showed up on time. He explained to me what was wrong with the TV and quoted me a very fair price. By then the outage was resolved but the TV in the living room still showed a blue screen. After troubleshooting it, I asked Rick to check it out for me. He looks it over and explains what could have happened to ruin it. Quoted me price, also fair.. Then he decides to check it out a bit more. Turns out only the HDMI port had been burned by the cable box from the power surge ( i googled it and turns out its very common), he finds the other port on the back of the TV and we unmount it from the wall, plugged it in and it worked! I would still need to fix the original HDMI port it was plugged into if I wanted to. He could have easily taken my money and I would have never known but he chose to be honest and found an alternative solution. For this he has won me a returning customer. Luckily, I was able to purchase the warranty through Samsung after owning this Display for 2 years now and it was amazingly well worth it. A request was put in for the TV Guys to come out to repair the TV after the parts were ordered and received which was in only a handful of days. My Samsung TV went inoperative on Monday, I read the reviews on Yelp and chose TV GUYS.I called on Tuesday and spoke to Rick, I explained the problem and fearing the cost might be to high for this older TV, Rick assured me it was worth repairing and gave me a ballpark estimate.I live in South Dade so Rick said he had a job in Homestead on Wednesday and he would be at my home between 2 pm and 4 pm.He was as good as his word, he called and said he was on his way and arrived on time.He and his coworker Robert got right to work, it was immediately apparent they knew what they were doing,They disassembled the TV, soldered some connections, replaced the faulty filters and reassembled it in about 30 minutes.Rick held to the stated price he quoted, which I felt was eminently fair, and the set worked as new. So the screen on my old Polaroid LCD TV started to go black and I made several calls to TV repair services. Most of them wouldn't come out, one or two said to bring the TV to their house. Once I called TV Guy after further Googling ADA answered and already I noticed a huge difference. I explained the problem and she got me in touch with Rick who came out to take a look. There was a home visit fee that would be included for any repairs. Rick took a look and said that there were two options, one could be a quick repair, the other more complicated and expensive. He did some work on the TV (42" LCD) and the screen came back. He charged me $135 for the whole thing. Here's the real kicker, after Rick left, the screen went black again. I called Rick told him what happened and he apologized and said that it looked like it was the other more complicated/ expensive option that was my choice on how to handle it. He stated that he would credit me the repair cost and only charge me for the visit fee. This type of professionalism is very rare and I highly recommend TV Guy. read more
