Their shelves were well organized and full of great finds. I usually like to search for kitchen items and sometime some clothing items. This location had a great selection of kids books too! Some great find this time. The staff working here were also very friendly and pleasant. I ended up buying a cool handmade dress that fit me perfectly for $10, just a tad bit long on me. First - So I get that with the current pandemic there is a lot more cleaning involved for all staff. So I partly understand the shortened hours to accommodate for cleaning. However, every other store I have been to recently as reinstated their regular hours. I think that 11am-7pm is just ridiculous, there's no time to go in the morning and most people who want to go in the evening, can't go either! Second - How can you have a store for buying clothes and not have your change rooms open?? AND not change your return policy!! So if you can't try on any clothes and you take home a bunch to try them on you can't return them?? You can only get an exchange? Honestly it's just ridiculous. You see, my mother liked to collect pretty things, and my family doesn't have the space for all her salt and pepper shakers, Christmas decorations, eagles, owls, wolves, chefs, dishes, etc., etc. But I didn't want to just shove them off to just anywhere. I wanted it to mean something. Thankfully, I can do that here. I came to the MCC on the recommendation of a friend who volunteers with the Yeg Water Warriors. She told me that MCC helps YWW as many other organizations in the community and beyond. I Googled them and found that it was even better than I'd been told. I can breathe a sigh of relief that the sale of my mother's beautiful things will go to good causes, as she would have wanted. Staff was excellent and helpful. We checked the store out before we left, and found it to be clean and organized. We bought candles and a jacket. I'm going to be back after I declutter my house to bring them more, because I support what they do. I think I'll buy some of that coffee too. If you want to go in person they enforce masking and capacity limits. They have a big selection of items from furniture and home goods to art and music and books etc. The Core Principle of Find is: FIND believes in the core principle of the Housing First program which states that "Every person has a right to as safe and secure home. " This is the same principle that has established planning at all levels of government in the effort to end homelessness." This is one of the best used retail locations int he City in my opinion. Was visiting my masseuse again, and had the day off so I thought, why not? Some really decent used quality furniture. I found some good books, and I was also in the market for some type of art for my upstairs bathroom that would tie the pale green walls to the brown ceramic tile. Found 2 panels with seashell-type motifs that would do nicely. Also, I recently had floor to ceiling bookshelves put in one room of my house, and was thinking the other day that I need a stool or a tuffet (more decorative than the plastic one from Canadian Tire) to thumb through my cookbooks for the perfect recipe. Score! Ignore the hideous plaid cushion. I have some foam cushioning I can repurpose, and will be recovering it. The top is hinged for storage, and it was only TEN BUCKS! Plus, I LOVE all the community help they provide. As an alternative to Value Village, that is pretty great. Am going to stop in regularly now to see what's new.

The person who makes it well known she is the boss, can be very vocal and irritating. She says things like "You know how I feel about saying things twice" and "what have I said about doing this. It is a constant, loud conversation that never stops. I don't go there as much as I used to due to my high anxiety and wanting to tell her to stop. Take your conversations somewhere private and let us shop in relative peace. I have been a retail manager for 25 years and would have been having conversations with my District manager if I did this in public. I was not impressed at all with their prices. For used item they are pricey especially if they get there inventory from donations. They're selection is massive. I only explored about five percent of the store. I found this jacket that they were selling for $20.99 and cost co is selling it for $14.99 (on sale). I had to do something about that price!!! I asked the front desk to look up the real value of the item. I don't recommend this store. Winners /Marshall's wells cheaper items than this store.

A bit smaller than the Whyte Ave location but it has a great selection of clothes and goods. Nice and clean inside. There is a donation drop off zone outside. A large parking lot services the strip mall so you should never have an issue with parking. I like this store as it is way less busy than the Whyte Ave location so that makes the shopping experience a bit better.
