Loved being able to customize the layout, logo and backdrop. Photos were pretty good quality and we'll get the digital download files as well. The 3 stars is for the actual planning of the event. I had heard about Flow from a friend who used them for a gala and had nothing but nice things to say about the ease of planning - we had a different experience. We started planning for this event back in late September - plenty of time to iron out details. However, we were constantly fighting for responses and confirmations that we were able to book this for our event. We were told at one point, after receiving no response for days after multiple follow ups, that the owner SAW our emails but just didn't reply. She did own that this experience could've been smoother, so I'll give her that. However, we were also told later down the line, when still receiving spotty responses, that they were prioritizing their wedding clients over us. As paying customers, this was not satisfying to hear. Their invoicing system is also spotty and unreliable - we had to check in multiple times that our payments went through since we kept getting invoice reminders. Then we had to manually give them some of our payment information over email - which was not very reassuring. To top it off, my friend that referred me was using them for an event the week after ours and told me that they were perfectly responsive to her and super on top of things (they included photography and videography on top of the Photo Booth) which made us feel worse about our experience. Not sure if I'd use Flow again after this experience, but I'd potentially give them another chance.

I don't know how my coworker found this place, but I'm so glad she did! They worked with our budget, they delivered AND picked up all 8 of our rental games (and some of them were quite large), they set everything up for us (such as the inflatable money grab machine and the electronic basketball hoop game), and also supplied a wide variety of prizes for the games! Before we decided which games we wanted to rent, my coworker and I asked if we could come to their warehouse and see what games they had available. The staff at Fun Services were fantastic - they gave us a tour of the warehouse, answered all of our questions (we had TONS), gave suggestions, and were very honest with us about the practicality of certain games (some were huge and would require more space than we had). They have a massive, MASSIVE selection...we definitely had a hard time picking just 8 or so games to rent. The quality of the rental games were great. The money machine was better than we could have hoped. It came with the inflator, was large enough to fit probably two middle school kids (don't recommend it though), and even had a built-in buzzer. They also have some more classic games, like ball toss, milk bottle toss, ring toss, football toss, lobster launch (personal favorite), and skeeball. Again, they worked with us, they accommodated our needs, they were incredibly patient with us...I can't think of any other business in the Twin Cities I'd want to rent carnival games from.

After I selected the items I was interested in, they sent me an agreement form, and we were good to go! So easy! I dealt with Karen throughout all of this, and her patience and kindness was so helpful and appreciated! The day we picked up the items they showed me all of the items, and even showed me how to set up some of the larger items! They also included detailed instructions on set-up and take-down, with YouTube video links to check out if we needed extra guidance (which we didn't because the instructions were so easy to follow)! Day of the event everything went so easy. Because they had already showed me how to set things up, it was a piece of cake to get everything assembled! We got so many compliments on the games we chose, and everyone was impressed with how fun and easy they were to use! Taking down all of the items was quick and easy. Upon returning the games when I pulled up to the door, they unloaded everything and were so courteous and kind. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this company to anyone looking to host am event and rent carnival games (which is what we rented), bouncy castles, and so much more! Months prior, I booked chairs from Unique Party Rental and communicated multiple times with Simon Marwa, the business owner. We confirmed the wedding date several times, and about three months out, we even met at the venue to go over logistics. Everything seemed good, and Simon agreed to have the chairs delivered and set up by noon on the day of the wedding. Fast forward to July 12. I arrived at the venue around 12:15 PM--no chairs. Our day-of coordinator hadn't received any updates from Unique Party Rental, and began calling them--no answer. Eventually, they called back saying they had a flat tire and would arrive at 12:40 PM. Frustrating, but understandable. But by 12:45, there were still no chairs. More calls--no response. Around 1:00 PM, they called back and said they weren't coming at all and would issue a refund instead. Our coordinator told them they needed to bring the chairs, but after more waiting, nothing changed. At 1:10 PM, we told them not to come. Thankfully, our venue had an emergency backup set of chairs, which saved the day. My now-wife and I decided to wait a week to allow time for Simon to reach out, and resolve the issue with us via a refund, but no call ever came. I had to follow up with Simon multiple times to get our refund. He was slow to respond and dismissive, even saying that he wishes we "would have called to remind him to bring the chairs." A month later, when I called to confirm the refund came through and asked about compensation for the stress and the extra cost of the venue chairs, Simon finally apologized--but also changed his story, saying a system error caused the no-show. That means the original flat tire excuse was a lie. He offered to pay half of the extra money we had to spend. I told him I didn't think that was fair due to the fact that we had family and friends waiting around in the sun for a long time, in addition to the stress, and setting our wedding back over half an hour. Plus, he lied to us, which he refused to acknowledge. I began to tell him we would be more apt to write a better review if he would be willing to take responsibility, when he suddenly interrupted me, started yelling at me, accused me of threatening him with a review, and hung up. That was the end of it. Some people may have had decent experiences with Unique Party Rental--but based on mine, I strongly recommend you don't take the risk.

The first served tables were done eating before the other tables even got their food. Most people didn't even eat the food ! And it was only 47 people .
