We wanted this event to be a fantastic celebration, truly special, and a fun and memorable experience. Fun Services helped 100% make this happen. I don't know how my coworker found this place, but I'm so glad she did! They worked with our budget, they delivered AND picked up all 8 of our rental games (and some of them were quite large), they set everything up for us (such as the inflatable money grab machine and the electronic basketball hoop game), and also supplied a wide variety of prizes for the games! Before we decided which games we wanted to rent, my coworker and I asked if we could come to their warehouse and see what games they had available. The staff at Fun Services were fantastic - they gave us a tour of the warehouse, answered all of our questions (we had TONS), gave suggestions, and were very honest with us about the practicality of certain games (some were huge and would require more space than we had). They have a massive, MASSIVE selection...we definitely had a hard time picking just 8 or so games to rent. The quality of the rental games were great. The money machine was better than we could have hoped. It came with the inflator, was large enough to fit probably two middle school kids (don't recommend it though), and even had a built-in buzzer. They also have some more classic games, like ball toss, milk bottle toss, ring toss, football toss, lobster launch (personal favorite), and skeeball. Again, they worked with us, they accommodated our needs, they were incredibly patient with us...I can't think of any other business in the Twin Cities I'd want to rent carnival games from.

We were hosting an event for kids and I saw them online and went through their website which was very user friendly. I filled out the online questionnaire, and they promptly emailed me back. From there I sent out my budget, and list of items I was interested in, to which they quickly replied, and even called me on the phone to further explain some things I was unsure about. After I selected the items I was interested in, they sent me an agreement form, and we were good to go! So easy! I dealt with Karen throughout all of this, and her patience and kindness was so helpful and appreciated! The day we picked up the items they showed me all of the items, and even showed me how to set up some of the larger items! They also included detailed instructions on set-up and take-down, with YouTube video links to check out if we needed extra guidance (which we didn't because the instructions were so easy to follow)! Day of the event everything went so easy. Because they had already showed me how to set things up, it was a piece of cake to get everything assembled! We got so many compliments on the games we chose, and everyone was impressed with how fun and easy they were to use! Taking down all of the items was quick and easy. Upon returning the games when I pulled up to the door, they unloaded everything and were so courteous and kind. 10 out of 10 I would recommend this company to anyone looking to host am event and rent carnival games (which is what we rented), bouncy castles, and so much more!     Watch out! Do not use Pop-Up Party Rental! We were wrongly charged, and they REFUSED to give a…read morerefund for items we ordered but were not delivered. We ordered a 15 x 15 tent with sandbags for an additional $120 (noted on our order confirmation and invoice). They showed up with 55 gallon blue barrels which would not work for our situation. BTW, they charge $0.00 (zero) for the blue barrels on their website. When challenged, they first cited their "cancellation policy", which makes no sense considering I didn't cancel anything rather didn't receive what I ordered. With no rational reason defend the cancellation policy claim, they turned to stating that the sand bags were inadequate (why they charged me for them???) and that the barrels were required. I immediately challenged them on "no charge" on their website for the barrels and they now reassert I cancelled the barrels at time of delivery (I never ordered barrels). Ridiculous! I'm being charged for rejecting something I didn't order (which has zero cost on their website) and was left to secure tent stakes and my expense. And, don't bother calling them.... they send all calls to voice mail and wear you down with email.

    Overall great communication and was able to accommodate our changes throughout the process. Pick up…read moreand drop off were super easy. The only downside was the equipment showed up very dirty and required us to wipe down all the chairs and tables. The tent was also extremely dirty which we were unable to clean due to the lack of time. Some of the equipment was also damaged and in poor condition. Options to fix the damage were limited given the timing, so we had to revamp some of our plans--very thankful for our resourceful wedding party who pitched in to resolve these issues as best we could! They didn't make the process of having a backyard wedding easy. We were reimbursed for the broken equipment but due to the timing and lack of inventory, we were unable to get the equipment replaced.

    I recently utilized their services for a work related event. I've never worked with a party…read moreplanner before, but throughout the 2mths that I worked with my contact, I felt a disconnection. It couldn't tell if she didn't know what questions to ask or if she just didn't care enough to ask them. Questions like; what's the event's theme? What look are you going for? What's the mood you're trying to set? How many people are you expecting? Here are my suggestions on décor for the space? Etc. For our first meeting, we walked the space; I told her my ideas and presented images of the things I liked from their website. Being that she was the pro, I was really looking for her expertise and guidance, but didn't get it. On the positive side, she was available and replied to emails/phone calls promptly. When I told her that my budget had been slashed, although she didn't offer many ideas on what to do with décor, she was receptive to ones I had proposed. When it came to the final list of items we'd be using, I'm grateful that she was willing to work with me on getting the cost of labor/delivery/set-up/take down reduced, because $400 for 38 pillows and 3 pop banners was way too high. Especially since the items was just $250-ish. Anyway, overall working with them was fine. The items arrived to the destination on time, they picked up everything on time and although the event planning service left much to be desired, I guess they fulfilled their end. They got me the items I asked for, on the date I asked for, on time. Just keep in mind that you may not get much direction and guidance.

Two years ago, our…read moregroup enjoyed several outstanding tours put together by Renee Splittgerber and Linda Johnson. Tour guide Doug Kline impressed everyone with his knowledge of the area and its history, as well as his ability to present the info in an interesting way. When our group decided to return to the Twin Cities for this year's reunion, we didn't hesitate to contact Renee and Linda. We asked for Doug to guide our tours and were thrilled that he was available, along with our Gray Line driver from two years ago, Stuart Ring, who was also available for one of the tours. Well ahead of both reunions, Renee provided excellent descriptions of each tour, including photos and prices, for prospective attendees. Linda kept us informed about deadlines and numbers of people who were registering. All the tours were outstanding. All motor coaches were clean and comfortable. All drivers, escorts, and guides were friendly and helpful. Our group especially enjoyed Doug. We highly recommend metroConnections!
