I had the WORST experience in this store. Me and my boyfriend were going to grab a tall boy and as usual we were looking around deciding what to get. I picked up a drink to show my boyfriend that it was made locally. The clerk went on the intercom and said "girl in the back stop doing that". I put the product down in confusion about what i did wrong. Can you not touch the drinks at liquor stores anymore or what??? Later my boyfriend was in the beer fridge and ran into an empty box which was right in the way filled with trash mind you. We grab what we want and the clerk goes up to us and says "i know what you guys did. You need to leave the store". we said "what did we do we were just looking". she says "we have you on camera would you like to see". We say yes then she says no you can't look. We said we didn't do anything wrong and if you think we are stealing we CERTAINLY are not and never would. she later says "you need to leave the store right now. I have the right to not sell to you." I said "yes you do but i would like to know what we did". The manager in the back comes up and says "bye bye" in a condescending tone as we walk out. We walked out in shock about what happened and i'm still confused why we even got kicked out. read more

The last two times I have been to the store, there was a sign that said closed for lunch. The first time, it was already 40 minutes past the time the sign said they would be back. There were 4 frustrated people that were waiting, several others walked up and read the sign and then left. I waited for about 10 minutes and left. The second time, the sign said "back at 5:00", and it was 3:30. I'm not going to wait an hour and a half. read more

I'm visiting my girlfriend who lives in the area and we decided to pop in to grab a few beers for the night. BIG mistake. We were being indecisive and browsing around the store for a while (admittedly, longer than most customers probably do) when the clerk yelled from the front for the "girl in the back to stop what she was doing". As we were simply browsing, we weren't even sure whether she was talking to us or not. After picking out a couple drinks, we were about to leave when she walked up to us, told us she "saw what we were doing" and that we needed to leave. She said that she had seen us on the cameras and could show us what we had done, but that she wouldn't sell us anything and we needed to leave. We were utterly confused by this as we hadn't done anything besides browse around the store, so I told her that she could show us the footage and we weren't sure what we had done wrong. She never told us what we did nor did she show us the footage, but instead demanded that we leave. I tried to reason with her and determine what we did to get this sort of treatment but no luck. We left respectfully but we are still shocked at our treatment and still wondering what we did or what she thought we had done. Oh, and she claimed I knocked over a "case" (a small empty cardboard box I accidentally ran into and picked up) in the fridge. This was honestly the worst experience I have EVER had with a business and the fact that the people working there did not tell us what they perceived us to have done OR give us the chance to clear up any potential misunderstandings was rude and unprofessional. We ended up grabbing a couple beers at the HEB next door and I'm glad we did as I would not want to be giving my patronage to this store. read more

I've also had poor service at the Dripping Springs store. The clerks weren't rude, they were just indifferent and TBH, they were very busy. Most of the time there was a long line at the checkout register. There are two registers, but only one is 99% of the time. I've seen both open only at extremely busy times like the Christmas holidays. Also, I've been shopping at that store for a long time and they seem to change the location of certain products fairly often, requiring customers to ask for help. Otherwise we wouldn't need to ask any questions. read more

Went into Dripping Springs Twin liquor this morning looking for Soju. I stopped to ask gal behind counter if they carried it and if so where would it be. She had just picked up the phone and sounded like she was talking with an employee. After about 4 minutes of me waiting she cupped the phone to ask if she could help. She said that's on isle 4 I went down there and didn't see anything labeled Soju. The gal continued to talk on the phone. I texted my husband to send me a picture of what I was in search of. I gave up after another 10 minutes of searching. Twin Liquors, get some help that helps. read more

I have probably bought liquor in here four or five times and each time the staff has been super rude and each time I tell myself that I won't go back. But I will run out of bourbon and not want to drive into Austin to get it. I do like their dollar sale though, they have some great prices then. read more

I just stopped by Twin Liquors after coming out of HEB with a tiny amount of groceries. Clerk would not let me leave my groceries inside the store while I shopped for one bottle of liquor. He said I had to leave them outside. I asked if he would watch them for a moment while I got my item and he said no. He said no one would steal them. REALLY??? I will never shop here again. Would rather go out of my way to shop spirits. Their prices are too high anyway. I would give a zero if possible. read more

My wife went in to buy some ginger beer for a Moscow Mule. When she inquired of the sales clerks where she could find it and which one they recommended, one was indifferent and the other just plain rude. The rude one said "I don't know what Ginger Beer is and I don't drink beer". She was going to buy some rum, but decided these jerks didn't deserve our business. Mislabeled sale signs is really a problem. Mgmt is unapologetic and just removed signs after I tried to purchase what was listed on sale. Inconvenient!! Pay attention to your shop. read more

Deserves 0 stars!!! Extremely rude and not at all helpful for the second time. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the other liquor stores in Dripping or Cedar Valley where the staff are actually friendly to their customers. read more

The customer service and friendliness of the owner and staff is so poor. No eye contact, no hello, just plain cold. They have HEB with great prices right Nextdoor. They should be friendly and at least polite to customers since they are not the only game in town. Specs is coming soon to the area and that's where we will take our business. read more

Has nothing to do with selection. It was all about the treatment I received. The two guys behind the counter made no eye contact. One pointed to something before I finished asking about it. I asked another question, and he pointed to the shelf. I then asked the second one about a certain product, and he recited the flavors while, you guessed it, never making eye contact. However, the lady who came in during this treatment got superior service. When I complained to the second rude one, he said, "I was looking at you." How about, "I'm sorry." But then THAT response is exactly what I'm talking about. I will never, never step through the doors of that establishment again. read more
