The atmosphere is very chill yet a bit upscale. Not a cut off jeans and tank top place for sure. The staff that waited on us was super friendly and on top of everything. Refill on drinks, no worry they were right there! The portion sizes are large but not overly huge. Which made for a nice take home meal later on in the day. Nestled up to a running creek, a constant breeze blew thru and just made everything perfect! Looking forward to my next trip!

A group of us went in for cocktails only and were seated at a booth. Now, I am a germaphobe and have a tendency to look up/down and all the way around when at a restaurant. One glass in and I so happened to look over my spouse's shoulder and see the nastiest spider webs directly next to them. I mean if they would have sneezed or sat back it would have been no bueno. Needless to say we moved ourselves to another table and were too grossed out to remain for anything additional. Yes, spider webs can appear and an establishment not be considered gross but this wasn't that kind of web. This was a your servers:cleaners don't t actually clean, web - nope won't be back.

They were spinning some popular tunes. The place was packed with a very fun crowd. It appears to be a bar you come to have drinks and chat. There was a small area where dancing could take place, but no one was dancing at the time. The staff including the general manager was super friendly. It felt like a wedding reception as you came into the club where you were greeted...very warm and welcoming. We had a drink and stayed a short while. It looked like a place you could come for a girls or guys night out or celebrating a fun occasion. Will definitely consider Dirty Bill's for a future fun evening...

You walk in and immediately know you are not in some polished Instagram cocktail lounge. It is loud, a little gritty, and full of people who are clearly there to have a good time and not pretend otherwise. The beer is cold, the Lone Star flows like Texas water, and the vibe is pure old school Austin. And yes, the legendary bathroom situation deserves its own paragraph. The men's room features a giant ice filled trough for a urinal, which feels like something out of a 1970s roadside saloon documentary. Somehow it is both ridiculous and perfectly on brand. It actually becomes a conversation starter because you walk out laughing and immediately tell your friends they have to see it and go pee. The crowd was friendly, the bartenders were quick with the beers, and nobody was taking themselves too seriously. I ended up staying longer than planned, drinking Lone Stars and talking to random people like we had known each other for years. If you want craft cocktails served with a rosemary sprig this is not your place. If you want a hilarious, slightly chaotic, authentically divey night in Austin with cheap beer and great stories, Dirty Bill's absolutely delivers. Five stars and I would go back in a heartbeat.

The ambiance is very intimate, with low lighting and some booth seating. It's a good date or celebration spot. Off the Happy Hour menu, we ordered: Spicy Salmon cones = $4 each. Tuna cones = $5 each Spicy Rigatoni = $15 Street Corn = $8 Dessert (Full price): Brown Butter Cake = $18 Lemon Swirl Cheesecake = $20 Campfire Brownie = Complimentary as it's my friend's birthday. The tuna and salmon cones were fine, but were so small that it was a bit surprising to us. The spicy rigatoni was the best rigatoni I had ever had, and it is actually spicy. It had a bit of a kick, and the flavor pairs well with the pasta. The street corn was good. The brown butter cake was my favorite, while the lemon swirl cheesecake had too much of a lemon taste for me. The campfire brownie is cool when they light it on fire, but it's just ice cream and brownies. Finally, their house bread is so buttery and flaky that it straight up melts in your mouth. Some might say it's too buttery, but I loved it. The service was amazing, as you would expect in a place like this. I was still seated even though my entire party was running late. I definitely recommend this place and will try their dinner menu!

I don't remember the name of the wine, but it was perfect and paired very well with the food that we ordered. We got the bruschetta board, a bottle of wine, California panini, and Brussels sprout salad The board took a a while to come out, but our servers let us know that it was a popular item which makes a lot of sense. I love the spread and variety of the boards. Bonus points for cutting them in slices. The brussels sprout salad was light and flavorful. The California Panini served with a side salad was satisfying. Smoked salmon, fig, anchovy, and tomato (can't remember that one's name). I requested the gluten free version which I was thankful they had. I'd love to see them offer some versions with non cows dairy such as some sheep cheese like feta. My fave ones were the smoked salmon and the fig. It was so beautiful inside and outside. We chose to eat inside but took pictures on the patio. Servers were attentive. This place even gives a discount to the parking garage attached to the building. You do have to scan the QR code in the garage when you arrive to pay for parking. (I didn't know that until an hour into my dining and my friend mentioned paying for parking so I had to run out to my car!) Looks like they change the flavors of the boards so it would be great to come back and try different flavors. There were some dessert items I saw online that weren't available on the in restaurant menu that would have been nice to try. They also have a wine club if you're into that. Near downtown so you can enjoy the city before or after your meal. My friends said their cocktails were delish.

We did have a little service hiccup when our server left us waiting for quite a while. I also understand that things happen and sometimes a busy restaurant gets hectic, so I don't want to judge the entire experience based on that. What impressed me was how Khloe, the manager, stepped in and handled it. She was incredibly helpful and made sure we were taken care of, which really changed the experience for the better. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. Good music, sports playing on the TVs, bottomless mimosas, and games for anyone who wants to make a day of it. There's something for pretty much everyone in the group. Next time I'll definitely be trying some of the games. Between the food, drinks, music, sports, and overall vibe, this is pretty much the definition of a Sunday Funday spot. I'll definitely be back!
