Sloppy painting job. They didn't even take the time to remove the light switch plates and outlet covers and just painted around them! I wanted to replace them and now I have to paint underneath to replace with other hardware. Also sloppily done, the trim and ceiling lines are sloppily done, not straight. Owner showed up one day earlier than he said he would for an estimate, no big deal. Then it was pretty difficult to coordinate a time with him. He told us a Friday night that he wanted to start next day but we had plans and we hadn't purchased the paint yet or prepared the house for painting. Then, he would be unresponsive to let us know about the schedule. Eventually, he told us he was coming on Thursday. Tuesday we sent an email asking about their time of arrival for Thursday. We got no answer so on Wednesday we sent a text message and later a phone call but no response. It was 9pm on Wednesday when he finally sent us an email saying he had to postpone the work for the following week. We had removed all items from our walls and toys and small furniture for them to pain, we had move all furniture to the center of the room and washed walls and baseboards for the job. I am not happy they cancelled at the last minute. We decided to cancel the job and look for a new painter. read more
