I found Melissa through online searching and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly she responded to my inquiry for engagement photos. We met in person, checking out her portfolio and my husband and I agreed she was the style we were looking for. Getting our actual engagement shoot done was a bit of an adventure due to schedule conflicts and weather (yaaay, Texas!), but we got them done in the end and they turned out awesomely. Melissa was very sweet and professional throughout all of our communication. I had been using pinterest for ideas on poses for the wedding day and she was very open minded and flexible to the ideas I had. She even did a few of the ones I had on my pinterest page! :) Our photos were done within about 2 weeks from the wedding (some of my friends were waiting months for theirs, yuck!), and they were exactly what we hoped they'd be. Now I have hired some good photographers over the years, but Mr. Matthew Chambers is the best Photographer I have had since I took W. H. Illingworth out to the Black Hills back in 1874. I have asked my Miss Libby to sit for a photograph by Mr. Matthew. I wanted something spicy I could take with me out on the plains. However, Miss Libby is just too shy to sit for a picture these days. She says she don't look as fetching as she used to now that she's a Ghost.
