I love being able to buy singles and mix and match to see what i like . . . . or just have a variety. For the last couple of years ive been getting into bourbon and rye. This place has a great selection at good prices. I've even ran across some harder to find and allocated bottles sitting on the shelves. Today i went to ny very first allocated bottle drop. Pretty fun . . . . and not just because my ticket was drawn 3rd or 4th (but that helped) but because it was a good time and i met some great people. The staff are always friendly and helpful too. The staff are friendly and recognize me whenever I come in, and are happy to order something by request if I ask for it. They usually get deliveries on Wednesdays so if I let them know I need a box of something, it'll usually be there by the next Wednesday. Their prices are really good and we love that they are open late, which is perfect for when we need to restock while hosting or having a party at our home. Yesterday was…read moreCinco de Mayo and I found myself on the verge of going to Total Wine for some tequila to make margaritas at home but I decided to see what they had here before taking that journey to Laurel and I'm so glad I did. I was a little short on time as I stopped by during my lunch break. Therefore, I didn't get a full look at all they have to offer. However, I was very happy to find what I was looking for and the prices were comparable to Total Wine for the items I bought. I was looking for Cointreau in addition to the tequila and the employee was able to look it up in the computer to see that it was in stock and the location of it within the store. I have a feeling that this about to be the start of a beautiful relationship between Howard Wine & Spirits and myself while I live in this area. The store just opened about a little more than a month ago so everything is shiny and new. When I have more time, I'll return and really take a good look at what else is in stock. I love a good bottle of wine in addition to my spirits so I would like to see what wines they have available.
