The Korean family that seems to own this place, as well as the other workers, are SUPER nice. The selection of hard alcohol is really, really solid - a great range from top to bottom! The pricing is very competitive compared to what I'm used to, especially for the stuff that isn't going to automatically burn off your stomach lining. They even have the little bottles of wine that I like to cook with! The one thing I would ask for is a better selection of wine, but yeah, I know most people around here probably aren't looking for that. They definitely have a better selection than Shoppers on route 1 - more variety. All of it is stuff that is recognizable and inexpensive, so that could be good or bad for you depending on what you want. I guess I'm just spoiled because my old go-to in a strip mall in Massachusetts was surprisingly good at both liquor and wine - good staples, as well as splurges you could pick up when you needed to apologize to your wine-loving significant other. :)

Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The salesman I dealt with was rude and nonchalant throughout the interaction. What was even more frustrating was that my prepaid order was apparently canceled without my knowledge or consent. I was not properly informed about the cancellation, and the way the situation was handled made the experience even worse. I understand that issues can happen with orders, but I expect customers to be treated with basic courtesy and respect, especially when there is a problem with an order that has already been placed. The place is like the size of two liquor stores. While I was visiting for a few things (gin, vodka, and Cava sparkling wine), I had stop myself from acting like a kid in a candy store. I guess it's better to say like an adult kid in a liquor store. I thought Maryland Farms had quite an extensive supply of various liquors and wines. Overall, I thought the staff was very helpful in helping me find all that I need to find. Since the store is pretty well laid out, I really did not need their help in finding what I needed, but it's the though that counts. Also, it was kind of cool that they were jamming to Cumbia-style Christmas songs. While this shop is a bit out of the way, I'll gladly make this one of my go-to stops for my liquor and wine needs.
