When Aracely finished her schooling and passed her licensing exam, I knew she was my "go to". This morning, for the first time, I went to Peroxide Hair Salon. Aracely did an amazing job. She was incredibly patient and professional. She gave me exactly what I asked and did so with a beautiful smile and caring attitude. She is now my stylist! The salon is beautiful and wonderfully functional. You can tell when you walk in the door that Michelle has put her heart and soul into making this a fabulous experience. I highly recommend a visit. The booking process on-line is easy to navigate and the communication for reminders is just the ticket.

Terry was very detailed and explained all the steps that she was taking to apply the Protein treatment and what I need to do to take care of my hair after the treatment. Also, Terry was encouraging and advised me to reduce my stress levels and to drink plenty of water to make my hair less dry. I'd definitely recommend that place and make sure to ask for Terry. I searched through Yelp for a hair salon, and I can't say how happy I am that I found Jeremy's salon. He was able to accommodate us last minute which was nice. When we arrived, we were acknowledged immediately and offered us beverages while we waited. My daughter hadn't gotten a hair cut since she was about 3, but the stylist that she was assigned to was very welcoming and walked her through everything she was doing. Rickey was so kind to squeeze me in, and I waited a little while for her to see me. She has the nicest helpers who got me washed and masked, and Rickey herself is exceedingly sweet and patient all while managing many different people and hair situations. I showed her reference photos and told her a little of my wishes and she got to work! It really seemed so subtle when she was cutting but once styled I couldn't be more pleased. We women almost always want to keep our length but many times i've left salons shockingly short, yet Rickey really made such a noticeable difference in the bounciness and playfulness of my refreshed layers while making any loss of length completely unnoticeable. This is probably the happiest i've ever been with a haircut! She was very easy to consult with about coloring in the future and I have all the trust that she can make some really beautiful but subtle differences in my overall color. The salon itself was in the nice lake area, and the closest entrance I saw was up a flight of stairs. Decent parking and an aesthetic salon with very comfortable sinks to sit at. Cannot emphasize their comfort enough. Not to diminish the timeliness of the staff- as I was being squeezed in, but I'd definitely recommend making ample time for your appointment as it would be less stressful for yourself and the staff. Dana is incredibly talented across the board, but what really stood out to me is how she listened and delivered exactly what I asked for. That can be hard to find, and she absolutely nailed it. She is especially amazing at color correction. If you've ever had a bad color job or need your hair fixed, she truly knows what she's doing and takes the time to get it right while still keeping your hair healthy. Someone even walked past me without saying anything while staff were chatting and laughing in the back. I ended up leaving, feeling snubbed. When I came back to give it another shot, the first thing said to me (by the very first stylist in the front to the left) was 'what are you looking for,' which didn't feel very welcoming. Based on both experiences, I chose not to trust them with my hair, this is also especially disappointing since I've always wanted to try this place and thought it sounded like a welcoming place given the name. Lourdes was the only kind and helpful person I encountered and the only one who would even talk to me. Pretty disappointing if you ask me.
