It is routine for me to give a 4 star review to an excellent experience on my first go-around. I look forward to returning here and having a similar experience, in order to bump the star rating up. Those who know me know that I never go back on the same day or the same time... So let's get on with this review. I showed up looking to have a milkshake and I ended up getting and ice cream cone that had made in such a way that the outside of the cone was pistachio flavored. It was excellent. Oh, I want to note that I now want one of those cones but, unfortunately, it's 8 o'clock in the morning on a Sunday... That happened simply because I started to describe the experience. I cannot wait for my next trip to get another ice cream... Something that my closest friends would be shocked to hear because I'm not really a nice cream guy... Like I said I showed up for a shake. Great job!

Vanilla & orange soft serve in a waffle cone with gummy bears

I got a lot of ice cream for the money, but I didn't enjoy it. I enjoyed my waffle cone and gummy bears though. This has been the consistent conclusion of my visits here over the past three years, but my boyfriend insists on coming back because it's where one of our first dates were. The ice cream is all soft serve and only 4 flavors: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, orange. The orange has a weird taste that doesn't remind me of an orange, and when combined with the vanilla tastes nothing like a creamsicle. Their strong point is portion, toppings, cones, and offering other things like frozen cheesecake and Nathan's hotdogs. Not the ice cream. Service is whatever. Not great, not intolerable. All high school girls. The seating is all outdoors. It's a cute little spot. I don't mind getting dragged there. I'm just waiting for the day they have some good ice cream and more flavors of it.

Twistee Treat is your classic little ice cream stand, it's even shaped like an ice cream cone! They have lots options that center around their soft serve ice cream. You can get all types of cones, sundaes, topping, and blends and their prices are reasonable too. I love their rich creamy ice cream but since its soft serve it melts super quick on a summer day. The workers seem to be a little stingy with their napkins too. There is a hand wash station around back that uses well water. We gave my toddler son his own cone to eat. He basically sucked on it for so long that half of it melted and ran all down his arms and into his lap. We had to strip him to his diaper and rinse him off! Twistee Treat should be a right of passage for any kid!

Grandma an baby boy enjoyed the seating!

Not your typical Twistee Treat, great staff and a better grade of ice cream served. Incredible selections to meet everyone's tastes

I have gone to this place as a kid and it is nostalgic. I absolutely love their ice cream. Wish we had these places in New York.

Retro. Cute place with nice area for sitting down at picnic tables. Ice cream is fair to good. Prices are moderate.

Got to meet the owner, super cool guy. You know the usual story, a medical professional, whose wife sends him to ice cream school. He falls in love with it, as well as the culture and making people happy. And now we have the creamery! Everything is scratch made in house! Whether it's the waffle cone or any flavor of the ice cream... it's made by hand on location. Pay attention to the stickers, experimental flavors will have a different type of sticker than the rest indicating that they are on trial. We had the Dubai chocolate, which was outstanding, and I had mine mixed with the coconut ice cream as well...... absolutely delicious! Can't make up your mind, no worries try a little sample. They also have some adult flavors in the back, by the way ... ie mixed with different types of alcohols . I was having a discussion with the owner because he was talking about how he loves that ice cream brings back nostalgia for customers. So I told him about an ice cream shop up around the Kentucky Cincinnati border where I would get black raspberry chip. He goes just so happens. I was working on a black raspberry recipe. Would you like to try some? Well, of course I did and if I could've fit more in my stomach, I would've ordered some of that too! Boy did that take me back! So, If you're in the mood for an ice cream, definitely stop on by the creamery! Locally owned, locally sourced, made in house! And cool people as well. What more can you ask for? And the cool cow logo will always bring a smile!

Very happy and pleasant. There was so many different flavors of ice cream and I had my heart set on a banana split, but they had an awesome flavor of chocolate ice cream. It was chocolate raspberry! It was so delicious. I had a scoop of that in the and fresh strawberry and vanilla on the side. The banana was very fresh and the girl loaded up on everything all the toppings and extra hot fudge. The thing was huge! And I can't believe I ate it but it was delicious. My had the chocolate peanut butter. There was more massive chunks of peanut butter than there was chocolate . She said it was very but she couldn't finish it because it was too much peanut butter and when I say big pieces of peanut butter, it was probably 3 inch wide by maybe 3 inch deep and maybe an inch thick and there was chunks of it in there. We had ordered some orange drink and it was good little bit different. we had a nice table by the water and everything was very clean. Lots of people came and there and as we were leaving, cars were beginning to to enjoy the delicious ice cream. They're a little pricey, but it is well worth it. I would give them a try.

I sampled the Triple Peanut Butter (pb ice cream, pb ribbon with pb cups) and was in heaven. The display is so impressive that is was hard to choose. My husband got birthday cake and I got chocolate fudge brownie. So so good. There are other items like shakes, sundaes and sandwiches, but we didn't try them. We got 1 scoop each in a waffle cone. Trust, you only need 1 scoop. See pics, but unfortunately we were already eating before I remembered. What's wrong with me. But we had been chowing down for at least 8 min so this scoop was huge. Very filling and delicious. The mixing looks fresh and you actually see and taste them prominently. Prices are very competitive. All in we were at a little over $13 for both cones. Location is centrally located in downtown off main street and next to Simms Park. Shope is well lie and inviting. Staff was friendly and helpful too. Shop has late hours (9pm+) daily so you can get your eat on. I look forward to going back.
