Kind is the takeaway but no curb appeal. I suspect they live behind the strip mall. I will say the door person was extremely polite and gentle when dealing with difficult customers. Class act dude! The line "it's just that time" will be remembered for the smooth delivery. The last door guy was also very entertaining and will be missed. Will I go back, not likely since the crowd is not engaged, seemingly inept owners, staff and clientele but the cash only is a big red flag that something is not on the up and up based loosely on patronage impressions. Also place has a weird vibe that seemed to become more prevalent recently. I award this as a dive bar. Which is not a bad label just managing expectations because nobody there seemingly will? Anyway, for a dive bar it's a decent spot, I've seen other reviews about the owner being rude but he was fine to me and the party I was with. This place is good for darts too, I think they have leagues here. Drinks are cheap and they prefer cash but they do take cars and I believe they add an additional charge on at the end (but you don't get a breakdown of prices so there's no way to really know). I won't return often only bc of the smoking but if that didn't bother me (and it was a bit closer), I'd return. If you're a smoker and a fan of dive bars then this should be a good place for you.
