So glad we found this place on our long drive. I just wanted a burger, hoping that I won't have to pay 16$ for a fancy burger with stuff in it I don't recognize. What a surprise. An inexpensive cheeseburger, with added jalapenos, on a velvety soft bun and darn (damn) was it good. The meat had the right amount of seasoning and each bite let me wanting more. The tater tots on the side were good too, everything fresh and hot. You gotta try the burger!!! My only suggestion is the ac was quite cold in the restaurant. read more

Great service and delicious food. Big portions and good prices. My coffee cup was always full!

Me and my grandpa was just want to eat some breakfast. We waited for a hour then ask how much longer was the food got told I came in a lunch rush so it was my fault it taking slow. They brought out other people food when they have been there for 5 minutes the wait heard me said we are going to let then proceed to just give me my food and say " here you go if you want to complain about it" then I got up to leave to get told to never come back by the waiter read more

This is a great small diner so don't expect fast food! My other half found this restaurant online so we went for breakfast and it was a really good choice. Jeremy is the server and he is friendly and attentive to the locals and outsiders alike. I had eggs with a biscuit, sausage and gravy. It was the best I have ever had! Other half raved about the bacon taste, thickness, and how meaty it was. His home fries were freshly hand cut and excellent. Excellent diner for breakfast. I was overwhelmed by the omelette choices, I am used to a veggie or western omelette menu....they are creative here. I had the Philly cheesesteak omelette and the portion size was so big I have half saved for lunch. I am a Lo-carb person, and the omelette came with choice of biscuits or toast or pancake or potatoes. When I told her I wanted none of them she suggested sliced tomatoes which was an awesome choice! The waitress was very attentive and kept my coffee full. The people at the table next to me were friendly and struck up a conversation, there is a TV where you can watch the news and weather if you enjoy that in the morning. It was also a very clean establishment. The prices were fair, my entire meal and coffee were $11.00. Great choice if you are down with home cooking and not "chain" restaurants. read more

This is a cute little diner! It has rave reviews for breakfast so we figured we'd give it a try for lunch on our way through western Kentucky. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was excellent! I had a Garden Salad which was a bed of crisp, fresh iceberg lettuce topped with carrot coins, green peppers and just the right amount of shredded cheddar. I opted out of dressing because that's what I prefer. It was just the lunch I was looking for! My husband chose the BLT with a side of corn nuggets. The bacon portion was generous! In fact DH said when his sandwich arrived that he was "glad I didn't order double meat"! The sandwich was presented open faced so he could dress it himself. The condiments came in single service packs so he was able to get it just right. The tomato slice was big enough to cover the meat and the lettuce was crisp and fresh. He adored the corn nuggets! Each one was about two bites. They were fried just right. The sweet whole corn kernels were visible and confirmed the quality the taste presented. 5 stars! Highly recommend! read more

Okay first of all Twistin' 50's is under new ownership and is now called 50's Cafe. It has been updated, and the food is amazing!!!!!! Love it!!! The best breakfast omelets around. All different types. They really do cook to order, bacon crisp (no problem) bacon limp (no problem) its the way you ask for it. They are now only open for breakfast and lunch. They have very good plate lunches and offer more than just a good burger and fries. If anything is wrong ask for Stephanie, the owner, because she is hands on and will make it right. My favorite thing is the Grilled Pork Steak. It's huge!!!!! Mine took up the whole plate! read more

The food was terrible and over priced. I ordered an $8 grilled chicken salad. It was the size of a side salad, and consisted of a few peices of lettuce, a ton of tomatoes and onions and some dried out chicken pieces. The place was filthy and run down, and apparently this is where all of the smokers hang out as the place was a haze of smoke. We came out smelling like we had been in a bar all night.
