GET THE BURGER!!! Don't ask questions, just order it!
    Mark F.

So glad we found this place on our long drive. I just wanted a burger, hoping that I won't have to pay 16$ for a fancy burger with stuff in it I don't recognize. What a surprise. An inexpensive cheeseburger, with added jalapenos, on a velvety soft bun and darn (damn) was it good. The meat had the right amount of seasoning and each bite let me wanting more. The tater tots on the side were good too, everything fresh and hot. You gotta try the burger!!! My only suggestion is the ac was quite cold in the restaurant.

I appreciate this place having space for truckers to park because it's harder & harder to find real food over the road. Thank You!! The service was great. Take heed of the sign: This is not fast food. And thank goodness for that. Pancakes were delicious.

Excellent diner for breakfast. I was overwhelmed by the omelette choices, I am used to a veggie or western omelette menu....they are creative here. I had the Philly cheesesteak omelette and the portion size was so big I have half saved for lunch. I am a Lo-carb person, and the omelette came with choice of biscuits or toast or pancake or potatoes. When I told her I wanted none of them she suggested sliced tomatoes which was an awesome choice! The waitress was very attentive and kept my coffee full. The people at the table next to me were friendly and struck up a conversation, there is a TV where you can watch the news and weather if you enjoy that in the morning. It was also a very clean establishment. The prices were fair, my entire meal and coffee were $11.00. Great choice if you are down with home cooking and not "chain" restaurants.

In Western KY for work. Hotel breakfast was juice and donuts, that wasn't going to cut it. This place was right down the road 1/2 mile. Excellent breakfast. I had the Big Mike's Omelet. Three eggs meat and cheese, fresh hash browns and toast. Cozy little restuarant. Will have to go back and try the lunch menu. Just a home town small town restuarant. Also service was excellent

It's near double the price anywhere I've ever got coffee in my travels. For me I'd choose 2 hour old hotel coffee before going to this place again. Hopefully enough locals like the place. Because I'm a small business supporter but in this economy that was over the top squeezing the customer charging $2.40ish per shot of espresso. Again double the price for a dub(double) shot. Thanks

I would guess this is one of their busier days, both because it's a weekend and because so many other coffee shops are closed on the Lord's Day (which I respect, but a girl on a roadtrip gotta get her coffee somewhere). Waiting in the line seemed faster than driving all the way to another shop, only to find out it's closed (which had happened twice already). In any event, the line moved neither particularly fast nor slow, and at some point it was our turn to order, pull forward, wait, and receive our coffees. The mister got a plain coffee with cream and sugar, I ordered a cappuccino. Espresso drinks feel like a safer choice when you don't know the quality of the coffee being served. Now having tasted their coffee, I'd say there is no reason to fret over this decision and would order a black coffee at Dub House without hesitation, were we to return. Both his coffee and my cappuccino were hot and delicious, served by some very friendly ladies. People who live in the area probably already know this. People reading my review looking for a place to stop as you're driving through, definitely yes, do.

More on my opinion on the latte in a minute. The bakery is in another room and they had a large variety of pastries that are prepared in the building. I ordered an Apple fritter, a chocolate cake donut with chocolate icing. My wife ordered a sour cream donut plus a lemon blueberry muffin. The Apple fritter was delicious with nice chunks of apple. One of the best I've ever had. So, after a bite of it, I gave my wife the caramel latte and ordered a black coffee. The sweetness of the fritter with the latte simply doesn't mix well IMO. The drink I had of the latte was really good but of course, I preferred a black coffee with the fritter. My wife loved the sour cream donut and thought it was better than our local donut shop we frequent that has her favorite sour cream donut. We saved the other two for the next day. So, no reviews for those two. This is a great local coffee shop with great products, great variety, and fantastic customer service. If you're in the KY Lake area we highly recommend this establishment.

Iced coffee's are pretty good, I add an extra shot or 2 of espresso because they can be a little light on coffee, heavy on creamer but still very good. We also bought two muffins. I had the key lime muffin and it was so moist, the filling was not overly sweet or tart, and it was just flat out amazing. The rolls made great little sandwiches and then used with our dinner of pull apart beef. The next day we bought cinnamon rolls, muffins and a loaf of bread. The loaf of bread was probably one of the best breads I have ever had! The muffins and cinnamon rolls were also enjoyed by everyone in our group. If you warm up the cinnamon roll or muffins for like 15 seconds, it tastes like they have just come out of the oven. I am a bit sad that we had to leave and this bakery is not right by my house. I wish this review could include taste and smell. My advice is get there right when they open if you want the bread. We went on Saturday at 8:30 and it was one of the last loafs.
