As many people have stated in the comments, they have a MAJOR mouse infestation. ALL of my belongings were COVERED in mouse urine and droppings. I've never been so disgusted in my life. I had to spend many days going to my unit to disinfect what I could. Some of my belongings have been completely ruined. The icing on the cake was when I found a big nest made from furniture stuffing at the back of my unit. Please note, I kept my unit clean with NO food, and this still happened. This could easily happen to you too, if you choose to store your belongings here. Storageville has showed no interest in trying to rectify this situation, so all I can do is warn others about storing their belongings at their facility. Oh! They also pick and choose their pricing. I personally know someone who paid $100 dollars less for the same indoor unit that we both got at the same time. What a great way to run a business.... I wish I would have read the reviews and done my research before storing my belongings at Storageville. I'd give this place zero stars.

Showed up the next morning to pick up the truck rental no reservation under our information in the system. And of course no trucks were available. Luckily the inkster location (which added 20+ km in terms of distance) had available trucks in the evening for us to rent. Because it was our first time we were unfamiliar with the process. Make sure you receive the confirmation email and ask for the reservation number via the telephone.

I had a…read moreloading ramp stolen from my trailer, and much to my surprise, their camera footage didn't capture it. After this incident, they moved my snowmobile trailer to where other (summer trailers) are stored, where their service quality continued its downward descent. Several times, I asked them not to dump snow right in front of my trailer, which seemed to upset the plow driver. Every snowfall created a new pile of snow plow detritus for me to excavate by hand. I contemplated sending them invoices for my snow shoveling The last straw came when the road to my parking space was not plowed at all, over a week after the last snow, starting with the space right before mine. The road that allowed me to connect onto the nearest exit road was also blocked by a 4' mound of snow/ice, forcing me to back my trailer through the unplowed road. At the end of the day, the same roads were still piled up with snow. I got my trailer stuck in the road, trying to back it in. No one was around, and since I was alone, I dropped the trailer right there and left. I called the office the next day, just to let them know that my trailer was stuck and I would come by after work to clear it out of the way. The little man who answered the phone started yelling, so I just ended the call. I did return to the compound to retrieve my trailer the next day, and put it right in my driveway, where it will stay until I store it in its new storage facility north of the city. Rating is one star, again, only because there are no ratings below that. Here's a tip: New customers - keep looking for a better storage facility (shouldn't be that hard), and existing customers - start looking for a better storage facility (they can't be all this bad).

Use of the compound is also very poorly managed, no spots are numbered or assigned. Be prepared to have yard staff and other patrons move your trailer without permission or informing you, resulting in you searching the compound to find your property. Also expect to regularly have your spot taken whenever you leave and have to drive around looking for another one when you come back, only to find out that you took someone else's spot and they moved your trailer again. This place needs to hire dedicated after hours security staff and implement a system to number and assign spots before I will use them again.
