I had a pick up schedule for the following day for a broken down boiler in pieces. Forty minutes after I scheduled the pick up 2 men show up at my door telling me they are here to pick up boiler. I also want to state it was not it a visible spot. I asked them if they were from the company and they said yes. I moved my car so they could drive the van towards the back and load up the boiler. They were about to leave and then I stopped them because I was waiting for my estimate (which now I am obviously suspicious). They said the scale was at the shop. I demanded they returned the boiler, which they did. They nervously slinked back to there van and drove off. OK...I wasn't born yesterday. This was OBVIOUSLY an inside job. When I reported this incident the first time the women seemed a bit defensive and tried to brush me off. The second time a guy answered who was a lot nicer but totally dismissed the situation. I also wasn't surprised that the manager never called me back which I had requested. I don't know what's creepier...the fact that two crooks show up at my door sent by someone from the company or that after I reported it to 2 workers there the both of them seemed like it was not a big deal. read more

I'm giving 5 stars because I called them late at like 4 pm and told them I needed them There tomorrow and they were able to make it happen , came picked up my scrap metal and paid me for it , I guess you can make a little more if you deliver it yourself but that's a pain in the a$$ , so customers service was Good and scheduling was good and on time read more

I've been using junk/scrapping companies for my jobs for awhile. People in this business aren't always...."the most refined." I get that. The women who i dealt with in the office this week were truly rude and unprofessional. When i tried to confirm the scheduled pick up time she became frustrated and nasty. Than put another woman on the phone. Over exaggerated long island accents and utterly gross to listen to. I generally wouldn't put down women in this fashion, but they acted like complete sea-hags. Note to the owners: hire an office manager who has some kind of phone etiquette. read more

Very rude and poor customer service. To bring the dumpster they got here pretty fast but to pick up it took them 4 days just to "try" to be here. Took even longer to weigh and pay. read more

They came, they weighed, they paid. I scheduled the pickup the day before. I had over two hundred pounds of scrap aluminum panels and rods, which used to be my screened back porch. The driver was polite, professional, and quick. The weight turned out to be higher than my estimate so I must think their scale is honest. read more

I got an estimate over the phone for 43 cents/lb for aluminum. The women said the price was dictated by the market so on any given day it could be alitlle different. I called on Tues they were going to pick it up up on Thurs. They gave me a time of anywhere from 8-4! Really? all day? Well to my surprise the truck came at 12. He loads the truck w/240 lbs of scrap metal and after its all loaded he says it's .30 cents/lb. I said that wasn't what I was quoted. I called the office and the woman on the phone was very short w/me and rude. First she told me that the day I called she had said the price could be anywhere between 20 - 45 cents. She DID NOT - she quoted a price of .43 cents! Then she asked me what type of aluminum was it because different types of aluminum were different prices. I said she or the truck driver never mentioned anything like that. Then she told me that the truck driver makes the price! When I repeated "The truck driver makes the price??!" she said "yeah - what do you want me to do give you the balance?" and then hung up on me! What a b----! I'm sure the owners would love to now what kind of idiots - with NO customer skills - they have working for them! I had seen negative reviews online about them but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and used them anyway - DON'T you do the same!! CALL A DIFFERENT COMPANY!! read more
