The only downside is the limited office hours (8 AM to 2:30 PM on weekdays), which can be tricky if you work standard hours. Overall, it's a super convenient place to responsibly dispose of a wide variety of items, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

When the company was bought out by Waste Management, a conglomerate, this past winter, everything changed. Yes, the pickup was consistent, but the cans were left high up on snow mounds during the winter snows and were dangerous to retrieve. Now, the cover is strewn about so that rain can get into the exposed can. Repeated calls to the main office have been met with sympathetic responses, but Customer Service has made it clear that it has no ability to change things. Notes left for the carters have been met with crickets. It's a shame, because I leave out very little for pickup and sometimes only once weekly. I always gave the previous Winters crew very generous Christmas tips. Just as the quality of the service has deteriorated, so will the recognition when I'm given the opportunity to register my opinion of the Winters' (now WM Corp) desire to serve its customers well.
