Had the pleasure of stopping by this factory during our day trip in Eureka Springs. It's a one-stop shop for those visiting from out of state. As it has merchandise, t-shirts, candy and sweets galore. From fudge, to candied nuts, and jaw breakers, there's something for everyone. My favorite were the candied pecans. It's nice because they have a large selection of sweets to choose from. The employees were very friendly too. The store is big and quaint. I hate to say it, but this place wasn't very good. All of the fudge tasted the same. The dark fudge was overly sweet and didn't have that rich flavor you associate with dark cocoa. The packaged candy wasn't very good. I tried the mini gummy bears and they had a strange taste to them-odd flavors. I'd probably try a different shop next time. read more

Went in this past week on vacation and was impressed. The fudge selection was vast. I got the dark chocolate espresso and the dark chocolate sea salt caramel. Both were incredible and the level of sweetness was dialed in perfectly in my opinion. There were a ton of cute shirt designs to choose from and they are Comfort Colors brand so they feel high quality compared to some other tourist trap shirt shops here. The staff were very graceful managing what seemed to me like a big rush of people. There were at least 12 people in their picking things out and asking for samples but they were handling it all well. read more

Don't expect to find Willy Wonka's factory when you walk through the door. As a matter of fact, I didn't see a single Oompa Loompa or have anybody sing a song to me. This place calls itself a "Fudge Factory" but I've swiped more fudge out of my children's Christmas stockings. Yeah, I know, I'm the Grinch. While they do have a small section of chocolate treats, the candy seems to be a way to sell t-shirts. As someone who dashes into every fudge shop they can find, you expect certain things. For example, if the shop has a type of fudge that is new or you think sounds interesting, it is pretty common for the proprietors to offer samples. I watched three different groups of people ask about certain fudges and not once was there an offer for a sample. The girls behind the counter seemed to have a go-ahead-and-buy-it-you-might-like-it attitude. I would be willing to bet they would snag a shirt for you to try on in a heartbeat. If you want a dab of fudge, then this place is fine. If you want a real fudge factory experience, then move on down the road. read more

Fun little fudge shop downtown! We got a couple of their chocolate "bombs" - one peanut butter and one snickers. Both very good!

He said "No wifey, don't open up a fudge shop. Our daughter is better off doing something else. And so are you. A store like that would never work. Oh, you silly dumb dames." HA! Or so the story goes. About 5 generations later, I think they've proved to be more than successful in their fudge business. The story renders the name a bit less jarring now. The fudge is good. The service is friendly. They offer samples (the other fudge spot up the road will NOT). Try the chocolate covered orange too! yummy! And they have reachable candies for the little ones (for better or for worse! haha). I really enjoyed the chocolate pecan fudge and the caramel vanilla pecan fudge. I can't give it 5 stars since I'm loyal to Gatlinburg's fudge. But hey, this is my next fudge love. read more

My husband and I first visited this charming fudge shop on our honeymoon 21 years ago. We have been many times since. The fudge is consistently delicious (our personal fave is the cappuccino flavor), and the shop has done a nice job of keeping all the traditional items yet adding new items. I rated it four instead of five stars because the service and atmosphere of the store in general just doesn't have the friendly warmth it once had, but younger generations are now running the shop, and I understand times change :( read more

This is a cute little shop that had a nice selection of homemade fudge, various chocolate candies and other various, candies that were made elsewhere. We enjoyed our fudge -- tiger butter for me (yummmy), and milk chocolate pecan for BF (WAY too sweet in my opinion but he liked it). Picked up a few caramels (butter rum and sea salt). Loved the sea salt! Enjoyed the salt water taffy too. We would come here again. read more

Great little ship, with lots of different sweets other than fudge. The ice creams are SUPER SUPER sweet. I like ice cream, but the sugar level was like ice cream dipped in sugar, covered in fudge, dipped in sugar again, then injected with concentrated sugar molecules. The salt water taffy is bad. Unfortunately, after eating Kilwins salt water taffy in MI, I was very disappointed in the Two Dumb Dames product. This a stop you must make if in historic downtown Eureka Springs. I came across it last spring and it has stuck with me since then. They have a great variety of fudge and fun treats, along with souvenir clothing and trinkets. The best fudge choice, in my opinion, is the dreamy way. I have never been in a shop and felt so disrespected in my life. The two younger girls working there when I visited were so extremely rude my whole family noticed. My mom even ended up telling one of the girls she should smile at the customers in the store as it's rude to give dirty looks to people buying merchandise! And, like today, I just gotta have some.... The online service is incredibly good...almost as good as the candy. They call if they have questions and it arrives PROMPTLY. I was stunned that it came so soon. You can count on this place for last minute gifts. The sugar free is great and the dark chocolate is delicious. From Fudge to Jawbreakers, Two Dumb Dames have just about any candy you could ask for. Anytime I am in Eureka Springs I get the English toffee, the toffee is covered in chocolate which is not too sweet and rolled in chopped pecans. Toffee is my favorite candy of all time and Two Dumb Dames have perfected toffee making. Their Divinity is AMAZING, it's always fresh and soft, it just melts in your mouth. Divinity is one thing I can't describe except by calling it what I consider to be ambrosia in a semi-solid form! All of their candy is fresh, with the exception of some of the hard candies and pre-packaged goods. I have no complaints about the store, it's never *too* busy despite the tourists! Lastly... I must mention their fudge... oh their fudge. If I were Rachael Ray I would be shouting "YUM-O!" right now. So many flavors and so little space in my tummy... each piece I've tried I thought was delicious. If I didn't know better... this place would be my gateway to Diabetes because I would live here. Very very very terrible attitudes of the two young blonde girls who were working there. We didn't get so much as "a hey how ya doin?" It was very obvious from the the moment we walked in that our business was unwanted. And even more obvious when one of the girls scoffed as another couple walked in while we were checking out. We walked back by as they were closing and one of the girls who was being picked up by her mom or something gave us the dirtiest look I've ever seen. We come to Eureka Springs often and I've never had service like this from anywhere in town. I am 100% sure that we are never going back to their store, regardless of how good their fudge is. (It's really not that good anyways.) I highly recommend going to The Nut House instead of this place because they actually act like they want you to be there. These girls acted like we were a big inconvenience to them instead of being glad they had customers. 0/100 stars. read more
