    Thin crust, pepperoni, mushroom, onion

I stopped by on a Friday early evening. The clean and spacious dining area was comfortable and Frank Sinatra was singing on the speakers. The server was friendly and helpful. I ordered a slice of hand tossed and a medium thin crust. They have a big menu, including sandwiches, pasta, and calzones. The hand tossed crust was delicious and toppings were tasty too. The thin crust was crispy and also delicious. I'm going to have to come back to try more menu selections!

    Thx G.

Every time I come here, the pizza is perfect. The balance of flavors is just right, and the toppings are always fresh. It is my favorite place to grab a good slice.

    Deep dish pizza

Adorable little Italian restaurant just a small walk from the Courthouse and Whiskey Row, with friendly staff and delicious food. I had the deep dish pizza...so yummy!!

I haven't been here in years so decided to visit since staying nearby at the Springhill Suites. My friend and I had our fur babies with us so decided to get takeout. She got the Italian beef and I ordered the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. It came with 4 small breadsticks. Both were good. Breadsticks were bit burnt but edible. My meal was little bit more cheesy than I'd like and wish it came with two chicken parmigiana patties for the price. ($22). Overall great service and would recommend.

Nice people, average pizza. Too little sauce, too much oregano. It's fine. Greek salad was good, but it was iceberg instead of romaine.

Howdy! I was wondering if your gluten free pizza crust is also dairy and soy free? I was also wondering if your vegan cheese was soy and gluten free? Also do you have any additional gluten, dairy and soy free items on the menu? Thanks!

Hello Sabrina. Thanks for asking about our products . Reading the labels , our 14" gluten free crust and our 12" gluten free ancient grain crust are the only 2 that are both dairy and soy free . And the vegan cheese does not have any gluten or soy.… Read more

With a craving for pizza we found this place through a map search for restaurants as possible…read more The place is quaint with a Southwest ambiance. It was full of patrons for dinner and we were seated right away in a cozy booth. Strangely the table was far short of the seating. The menu is broad with all the typical Italian selections. We put in our drink order and I had a Argentine Malbec. It was rich and delicious. We started with an appetizer of Arancini. These traditional fried rice balls were huge, two of them. Mixed with peas and other tasty ingredients, the exterior were nice and crunchy. Cooked perfectly they were delicious with a cup of Marinara to pour over them. The pizza we ordered was the 18" Mediteraneo with grilled chicken, ricotta and mozzarella cheese and a pesto sauce. The 18" was very adequate sized for four hungry people with some left over. The pizza was good yet a bit off in that the cheese overpowered everything else. I do not recall eating any chicken or tasting the pesto. The ricotta seemed to be a unique ingredient yet it doesn't seem to set properly as if it was applied frozen (?) The service was extroadinary, so friendly and accommodating. The only mistep which is probably a kitchen problem is we waited and waited for the appetizer. When it finally arrived the pizza arrived literally right on top of it with not enough room on the table. I'd return to try some of their other Italian offerings.

There was a parking spot immediately 8n front of The Grumpy Sicilian so I thought "Why not?" Good choice. None of us wanted a big meal so we risked getting just a slice -- which was delicious! I feared that it might be dried out, but judging from the traffic, the pizza was freshly baked and the town foot traffic made short work of the pie. In other words, it was freshly baked and disappeared fast. Excellent pizza, too. Good vibes, cool place, excellent food... and I like that they kept a parking spot open for our arrival!

Tried the parm with fries and was unpleasantly surprised to get mouthfuls of dry, flavorless starch from the thick cut soggy fries. There's a reason they use thin cut for stuff like carne asada fries and marinara does not go well with french fries in my opinion. So why the 5 stars? The grumpy slice is some of the best pizza I've ever had. I thought it looked questionable that they seemed to just reheat pizza that was sitting on the display counter, but the taste and texture were perfection. And only $5 for a slice. Only place you'll get cheaper pizza is at a gas station.

If you've dined here before, you already know exactly what I'm talking about. We ordered the Spicy Sausage & Broccolini Ravioli and the Meat Ravioli, and both dishes were outstanding. Thank you to everyone at Papa's for continuing to make dining out such a special experience. We'll definitely be back!

Experience it. Learn from what you experience and take that back to Prescott. In sum, the food (while Italian style) was not at all representative of authentic Italian culture. The warmth of being in an Italian home like many establishments throughout Italy and the U.S. was not present. And the food! The sauce was amateurish at best - composed of huge chunks of canned stewed tomatoes than actual sauce. The chicken (in my Chicken Parmesan) was intensely dry and rubbery which tells me that the breasts we're made and then frozen. The pasta was regular cheap grocery store pasta. The salad - "Italian" dressing - tasted it came from a commercial brand. Lastly the service, was ok at best. No one offered or was even around to give us fresh grated Parmesan cheese or fresh cracked pepper in our salad. The bread served on the table was good and our Aperol Spritz was excellent. Overall, I suppose we should have expected this... ethnic food in a small town is far more "miss" than it is "hit" but I did appreciate how warm and inviting the atmosphere is. Sorry... I just want people who come from out Of town who have traveled and experienced many beautiful versions of of the Real Thing... this is not that.
