We lucked out on our job and got 3 men and a truck. We really didn't need the truck as we were just moving items from the garage to there house. Three of the nicest young men showed up to help us and couldn't have been more polite and helpful! I don't write reviews often but had to take the time to give a shout out to these awesome young men. Think twice before using this company... read their reviews! Sadly, I referred my son to this company. They dropped his $6000 tv while moving it not once but twice and when they got to the new home it would not turn on. They dropped his dresser, dragged his mattress across the grass giving it grass stains, overcharged him by a half hour, charged him for clothes hanging boxes that were supposed to be free and charged them more per hour than they were quoted. Now they are giving him a hard time about replacing his TV. They want to send out Geek squad to fix it but no guarantee if it quits working 6 months from now due to another issue of dropping it. He has to go without a tv for a week while they line up Geek squad. They say they are insured but obviously not for damages to your items. Do not choose this company. They are shady and do not stand behind their work!! read more

Lack of communication and professionalism. I had three safes to move and told scheduler about the size of safes, she said not a problem to move. The movers did show up on time, however, were not apparently aware of the size or weight of these safes. They should have made an educated and professional decision that they could not move them. Only one safe did get moved and cost me over $600.00. I spoke to office manager indicating I would like cost adjusted down to $500.00 and basically was told "that's the way it goes". I had a small U-Haul truck to unload into a 10x10 storage locker. it would have taken two guys about 10 minutes. I paid a deposit the equivalent of 1 hour of work plus drive time. The movers were to meet me on a Saturday afternoon at 1pm. The movers never showed up. I waited half an hour, tried repeatedly to reach some kind of weekend hotline (don't waste your time, there wasn't one, just a voicemail that would be returned the next business day). Since U-Haul trucks need to be returned by a deadline, I ended up unloading the truck by myself. It took me 40 minutes, 93 degree heat, with a tiny dolly that the storage rental place kindly loaned me. As I was pulling out of the storage facility 1.5 hours after they were supposed to be there, they called to say they were on their way. So frustrating. I would have waited if they had just communicated that they were running late. The office staff called me back the next business day, and offered a refund, then asked if there was anything else they could do. I asked if they would be willing to give me a great customer service opportunity by meeting me in October when have to move again and load it for free, again, for two guys, only about 10-20 minutes worth of work. That seemed like a reasonable opportunity to make amends and leave me with a positive experience of their company. But no. The man who said he would consider and call me back within 24 hours returned my call at 48 hours, left a message to call him, and then didn't take my call. I called back twice over two days, and he was always "busy", but not so busy that he couldn't instruct someone else to tell me they would offer a refund, and only a discounted next move. As if I would be wanting to give them a second chance at that point. And lastly, when they sent me a link to review them, it mysteriously didn't let me actually write a review, just let me choose stars and then closed out, even though I opted in the process to write a Google review. I guess written reviews are only for those with good star raters? So here I am, reviewing everywhere else that I can in hope someone else doesn't go through what I did. But hey, I am obviously a capable mover since I did a truck alone, so save yourself the trouble and hire me instead, lol. read more

Well, I am not a happy customer from my move in August with Two Men and a Truck. I had more things damaged than I claimed because I held it to the items that were severely damaged---my favorite computer desk and a door frame & sill at the new residence. They did give me a credit for the desk equal to about what I paid for it although I cannot find another like it for that price. I had to wait (from August 25 moving day) until today to have someone take a look at the door/sill damage from trying to force a heavy cabinet cockeyed through the door without lifting it over the sill. Well, the contractor assigned to fix it says there is rot in the wood at the bottom of the door and, although Two Men and a Truck are partially responsible (the sill was completely detached and a chunk taken out of the doorway), he feels they won't repair it the way he would do because of the "rot" he says contributed. Now, I have to wait on their "decision." And I will have to stay of top of this because it gets passed off as it did from August to now. I'm getting very frustrated with contractor difficulties lately to say the least. I don't have a magic wand either. One thing I do know is that the door/sill in question was completely functional prior to Three Men and a Truck's actions that day. Yes, I can see some rot right at the bottom, but it's not the cause of the damage they did. Should it matter? I paid for the best insurance they offered that was to cover everything and did not claim all the paint scrapes and scratches they did to various items. I should add that one of the garage cabinets does not close properly any longer either due to being banged around. Grrrrr! The one thing I can do is make my experience known. read more

Reasonable rates and excellent service. I utlized their services once for a scheduled move and the guys that showed up were courteous, professional and punctual. I had no problems with them, they moved everything for us and put our furniture exactly where we wanted. Nothing was broken or damaged. Everything was loaded carefully and unpacked with the greatest of care. Their rates were competitively priced (I checked around with a few moving companies before settling on them) and they were able to hold the date tentatively for me for many weeks and then accommodate a last minute scheduling hiccup since the closing date on our home kept getting changed around. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! After giving me a competitive price and moving my stuff into storage for 4 months, I called them to tell them of the expected move date and location. I then took the day off to be available to them. They ended up not showing until after 2:30 in the afternoon, so in essence I gave up a days pay when I could have worked and met with them after. They then attempted to charge me after I was called twice that same week by the office stating that I would not be charged as our house was so close to their location. They then went behind my back and not only took the amount of my account, but they took an additional $500 on top of that basically emptying my account and going into my overdraft protection account as well. They never contacted me about how the move went (even though there were about 7-8 things broken). When I contacted the office about this. The woman stated that the conversation of the no charge delivery never took place. No integrity in the office and questionable ethics. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I was moving my late brothers belonging out of his home. I called Two Men and a Truck two days before our move date, on a Saturday. I had scheduled another company but their minimum was so high. Two Men and a truck were incredibly professional with a good price. My movers, Adrian and Brandon were fantastic! They arrived 15 minutes early, got right to it and had a great attitude. This company rocks! The customer service was great. They called to confirmed the day before, movers called when they were on the way & called the following day to follow up. The movers were polite and efficient and hussled their asses off. Everything was protected and moved without damage. They were very accommodating. I had used another firm before and was very unhappy. I prepaid and scheduled a date for the movers to come to my apartment and move the boxes and furniture. The movers arrived and refused to move me. When I complained to the manager, she refused to remedy the situation, other than refunding a partial amount. Then, the same thing happened a few weeks later to a friend of mine.
