I had a very disappointing experience with Two Men and a Truck. A lot of my wood furniture was damaged with rubs and deep scratches during the move. My new smart trash can was also dropped while being moved into my new home. I reached out to Richard and others at the office multiple times and kept getting the runaround. Eventually, I was emailed a claim form, which I promptly filled out and returned. After that, I never heard back from anyone. I called several times and was repeatedly told that someone would contact me, but no one ever did. I also emailed Richard multiple times without receiving a response. I dealt with this for over a month, and nothing was ever resolved. Very poor customer service and communication. Overall the 3 men not two were very nice. read more

Goldsboro, NC - Two Men and a Truck The movers did not try to be careful and did not try very hard to protect the furniture from moving damage, but they were otherwise professional and they were friendly. The problems included: -The Tow Men showed up an hour earlier than scheduled and so arrived before the furniture was ready to be moved. The Two Men apparently had not been told of the time on the agreement. -Half of the furniture that was, and half of the furniture that was NOT, protected with moving blankets was knocked into doorways, walls, etc. Or it was allowed to grind on wood stairs and/or the unprotected edge of metal surfaces, and/or bounced down stairs or on/off of the truck with no protection between the weight carrying nose-plate of their hand truck and polished table tops and other easily scratched highly visible surfaces. -The items with polished easily scratched highly visible surfaces that were being moved into storage were NOT protected with blankets but were still carried through the house, loaded then unloaded on, and then off of, the truck, moved through the storage buildings doorways and corridors. And again, half of these pieces without moving blankets were knocked into doorways, bounced on the unpadded nose-plate of the hand-truck, etc. The Two Men did protect some furniture with blankets but not any of the items that were being placed into storage, even though these pieces could be damaged in the same ways. -Frame of a mirror was broken because it was not properly protected and/or handled. -The Tow Men bashed a heavy chest of drawers into the ceiling/wall corner above the staircase. -They broke the molding on a doorway as they moved furniture through it. The damage was at eye-level and so would be very noticeable afterwards without careful repair and repainting. -They carried unprotected wooden chairs two at a time by their top back cross-piece after being told the glue in the chair-joints should not be trusted. Then also banged the chairs on doorways or each other while they were being carried. -The polished highly visible surfaces of furniture that were NOT protected by moving blankets were allowed to rub against, or fall into and rub against, each other in the back of the truck while the truck was being driven to be unloaded. -They left an unloaded rocking chair sitting upright but with one runner completely and obviously not attached at one end. -At least one of the Two Men either used marijuana mouthwash or was high during the packing/loading and the much later unpacking/unloading read more

Furniture damage that was easily avoided. Guys didn't even bring anything to drink, not prepared. Nice guys though.

Worse moving company. Two men and a truck, 905 John Street Goldsboro NC,moved me on 12/28/22. I paid $1350. They caused extreme damage to my dryer, flat screen TV and mirror. All were in perfect condition when they left my home. My TV doesn't work at all. They chipped the screen. The mirror was cracked in half. The dryer I have no idea. I have to call a professional at my expense. For all this they gave me $160 when I put in a claim. My TV cost $400. In addition they set up my bed wrong. When I asked them to set up the other bed they said they didn't know how. They also set up my washing machine wrong. You may not want to hire this company Very sloppy and May damage your belongings. I'm considering small claims court. read more

Be sure and pay for the extra insurance!! Richard was very helpful and professional in our move but certainly had our issues. The actual movers arrived almost 2 hours later than they were supposed to show up. He gave us the paperwork and we opted for the basic coverage since we have some antiques but nothing of extraordinary value. We noted the large stack of blankets in the truck and assumed that these would be used...unsure if it was because of them being late or us not electing for the extra insurance I don't think anything was wrapped The truck then broke down on the way so our delivery was delayed(not their fault I know) When it was apparent the following day that the truck wouldn't be fixed a rental truck was obtained and everything transferred. It arrived after 7pm and was a frantic rush to get into the apartment to not disrupt the neighbors anymore. We discovered that almost all our wood furniture had rubs and deep scratches, a chest from great grandparents fared better in wagon trains through the Dakotas than 200 highway miles!! We submitted claims for the worst of the damage with pictures, similar items with price, cost of brand new IKEA table with deep scratch.....all for a whooping settlement of $100 based on weight because we didn't opt for the more expensive insurance. Hopefully this was just an off couple of days because they have great reviews but our experience was less than ideal.
