This review may be lengthy but please read it entirely. On May 5, 2026, Two Men and a Truck were scheduled to packed up our house. Let me give you a little back story. All of the bedrooms that they were due to be moved had already been completely broken down. My husband made sure the all the beds had been taken a part prior to them getting there. My daughter's room was fully furnished with a queen bed, dresser, night stand and a TV stand. The guest room only had a queen fabric bed and our room had a king fabric adjustable bed and 2 night stands. Our den furniture is power recliner, loveseat and couch had not been taken apart. They did not pack anything else. My husband and I had already did the tedious work and moved it ourselves. The gentleman came in around 9 am. We went over paperwork and I signed for them to start. This took maybe 10 minutes. They began packing. I sat In the garage because I did not want to be in their way. What I noticed early on is that they were working as if they were working on their own dime meaning they acted as if they had all the time in the world. 1st broken item was my patio glass that was part of my outdoor furniture. The gentlemen came to get me and said he would take pictures and send it in. I then proceeded to clean up all the broken glass. He wrapped the outdoor furniture in plastic and continued to work. What I noticed them not do is not wrap any of my cream fabric furniture at all. I noticed this because I watched them take it to the truck and my question, "Are you going to wrap this?" There answer was yes once its on the truck. Next broken item was my outdoor granite patio table after it was loaded on the truck. Supposedly a picture was taken and sent to the supervisor. They continued to pack the truck and my husband noticed them taking breaks. Now our estimate was for 4-5 hours. Long story short, they were suppose to be done around 2 o'clock. It took them so long that my husband and I started helping them move stuff. They finished packing around 4 and then they were driving our furniture 5 miles down the road to our storage. They went to the wrong storage and it took more time to get there. We spent way too much money for something that should have been a smooth move and cost effective . After speaking to someone in charge he asked that I not write a review and they would see what that could do to help. The bill ended up being 1600.00 and they returned 180.00 9 days later. We had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck. The crew called to let me know they were about 10-15 minutes away and even arrived a few minutes early. They were professional and I felt went above and beyond my expectations. Their rate was competitive and were very fair with their pricing and rates. I would recommend and hire them again. read more

Don't waste your money! Their estimate was grossly over what it should have been. They charged us for 3 hours to load and 3 hours to unload and it took them 3 hours total yet they stand by their initial assessment. What's worse is they hooked us up with a group out of Nashville that trashed our items. Several pieces of furniture were damaged during the move for which they refused to repair. We were offered $100 on a $7700 move. Their customer service is even worse. READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP WITH THEM!!! Definitely DO NOT recommend!! Two men and a truck is the worst company we've ever used. They were fine moving boxes but not furniture. They rolled my dining room table on its side instead of carrying it and scraped all around the edges of my table. The one mover took pictures of it and submitted it. We have called several times and no one has ever responded. The first set of guys were the worst. The second set of guys were better but still no one has called us to come out and fix what was damaged. I will never use them again,never.......just an all around bad company to deal with. read more

Group of young men/movers were very clean, friendly and personable. My husband followed them to new home. They unpacked everything except for my son's 50" new tv, was still covered in blanket and seran wrap, whereas everything else was unwrapped/unpacked. My son arrived at new home. When he unwrapped his tv it was severely cracked and unuseable. Obviously guys new it broke and that is why it was the only thing left unpacked. My husband unwaringly & mistakenly signed off on everything, didn't unpack the tv or inquire about it because it was my son's. The company offered $40 for the tv because their insurance compensates by so much a pound, not by value. Obviously there wasn't much care used in transportation and for customer's property, so I would not recommend. I tipped the guys well in advance, big mistake, trusting they would use care and due diligence because that is what you would expect, but if you value your things, use a different company. read more

I feel bad this has taken me a couple weeks to post. But, with the move and we have just been so busy. We could not be happier with the Guys, Jay and Dwnard. They showed up on time and didnt stop moving the entire 4 hrs. Both were very friendly, efficient and extremely respectful of us, our homes and our furniture. We were quoted 4 hours and they finished just under the 4 hours. This included taking apart and reassembling beds along with our mechanical bed We highly recommend Two men and a truck. Both myself and a friend have used Two Men and a Truck moving company in the past month. People in the office are professional, extremely knowledgeable and give accurate quotes. Their workers showed up on time and had great attitudes about the job ahead. They were very professional and courteous. They took great care in moving my belongings. Nothing at all was damaged. Overall excellent service and I recommend them to anyone who wants a stress free moving experience. read more

I just got back from driving all the way to Mandarin and St Augustine from Central Jacksonville to pick up my friend who had the misfortune of working for 2 Men and a Truck. They are aptly named, for if you hire them, you get 2 white men sitting in a truck smoking weed while a third (my friend) does all the moving and lifting. Then after ridiculing him, they dumped him at a Walmart in Mandarin, refusing to return him to their offices in St Augustine to get his vehicle. 2 Men and a Truck owe me a tank of gas and my friend an apology! read more

I used them to move on the 9th. I had spent a week boxing and loading a PODS unit and had it moved to the new address. They showed up on time with 3 guys. Two were regular and one was a trainee. They were all pleasant enough. I needed them to move the large pieces of furniture and some smaller pieces that I did not want to put into the PODS unit as well as some large potted plants. After a few hours, the trainee was unable to continue due to back issues. I was told it was a recurrence of a previous injury. The other two spent some time (more than an hour or so) trying to make him feel better, and they called their manager to come pick him up and take him back to his car, but that did not happen. He sat in the cab of the truck for 5 or 6 hours. Everything in the house was moved from CT to here, by myself, in a 26 foot Uhaul truck but they were unable to get it all in two trips in their 26 foot truck. The things in the PODS had previously been in a PODS unit of the same size, so I am comparing apples to apples with regard to the amount of items moved. Part of their inability to properly load was probably due to the fact that they had no light in the truck and they stated that they had complained about that to management and yet it remained unfixed. The only light they had were the flashlights apps on their cell phones. So, they were working inside the truck on the arks for the last 4 hours. They spent an inordinate amount of time using a dolly to move items that two men could have easily carried out (weighing less than 100 pounds) in less than half the time. They were training the new guy how to use a dolly while he was able to help, so there might have been a method to their madness, but it slowed things down a lot. I ended up having to rent a Uhaul truck and open trailer to move the things they did not move. I waited a week to call them back because I had to finish unloading the PODS to make sure that items that are missing were not in there. I have found that several boxes from the kitchen are missing. I called them and they say they do not have them. It is not a lot of money, probably $2-300 in dishes and other kitchen wares, but nonetheless, they are missing. I had thought they might be in the truck but they say no. I am giving 2 stars because the two men were pleasant and worked very hard and I tipped them well for THEIR efforts. But, this was the move from hell. By the way, the move was 5.6 miles- 8 minutes between houses and cost $1700 give or take few dollars plus the tip, so this was not cheap. Responding to the company, I did reach out to your customer care team and they simply stated that you do not have the boxes, not that you never had them. Whatever the case is, I do not have those items and I will have to replace them. When your manager called me back on Monday to follow up, I let him know about the issues and that I was not happy with the move or the fact that I had to spend another $100+ renting the Uhaul truck and trailer to move things that should have been moved by his team and spend an entire day moving those items when i should have been unpacking. He made no mention of trying to make that right or offer any sort of remuneration, no matter how small, so I am not impressed with your customer service team. The fact that you would let a man, who was injured while working for you, sit in the cab of the truck all day rather than have your manager come get him, is abysmal. Again, I compliment the two men who were working on their efforts, but management is less than a good example. When I put together the fact that you sent out a defective truck, did not retrieve an injured man and let him go home and refuse to acknowledge that you might have misplaced items or failed to get the job done as was discussed, I just cannot, in good faith, give you anything but failing marks or recommend your company. read more

Pissed off because they spent all day to move the stuff when we had already packed the majority of the house. A break or 2 is understandable but those breaks for more than a half an hour at least where they sat around and did nothing to the point where my parents and I all fell asleep. Once we woke up we started to do things ourselves because they weren't and we didn't have all day it was about to be dark and they time they started was early. At the end of the day they didn't even finish and my mom and I put all of the rest of the stuff in the office room and the guys said they would be back Monday to take the rest of the stuff, they took nothing in the office, or the big piece of furniture upstairs. So, because the buyers were coming to take a walk through that same day! My mom had to drive there from work and spend hours putting all of the breakable stuff, not in bubble rap or anything, just boxes because we had no time, and stuff everything in the truck. She is drenched in sweat and the buyers are super mad that they have to wait an extra 30 minutes for the walk through. They didn't work hard at all, after every piece of furniture they would not do anything at all for at least 5-10 minutes. They were mostly young guys. They were nice but it's a shitty service that you won't want to depend on like we did. read more

I worked for this office for a long time and was fired for requesting fmla. My final paycheck was then cut down on my hourly rate. This office doesn't care about anything except money they charge five different customers for the same roll of shrink wrap. They also intentionally under estimate there jobs to get them. They forced myself and two new guys to move a home that had burned recently and the fumes were so terrible that we were unable to breath inside the house. The office refused to provide us with face masks or anything. Never use this company for anything Clint Mcquarry is the owner and cares about nothing but himself there trucks are falling apart and dangerous but he still sends them out. He sends guys out on there first day and tells them to lie to customers about there experience.. read more

Lets start with late, then follow up with slow,sloppy and in the end hand prints on the couch and a black streak threw the living room where they had to track threw to put every thing.I asked them if they had floor covering and they insured me as they took my Credit card number how clean they where.Last part price,they have a confusing set up on how they price a move and in the end I paid so much the fact is I could have rented a truck and hired 2 labor center men and got the same sloppy service for a 1/4 of the price.Never again!! read more

The mover who handled all of the paperwork and spoke to Danielle (in the office) over the phone was very good. He was polite, helpful, and I was pleased with his work. However, his partner was rude and extremely careless. When the two men moved my furniture, the first man wanted to take precautions to make sure that nothing was damaged, but the second man insisted that they just hurry up and not worry about it. He refused to take the legs off of a table to fit it through the front door (even though I asked him to do it), so I had to disassemble and reassemble the table myself during the move-in. He also scuffed up walls in both properties, and scratched up my coffee table and dining table when he ran into the door and the walls. I asked him several times to be careful, and told them both that I'd rather they take their time in order to make sure nothing was damaged. Each time I requested this, he just laughed and said, "Oh don't worry, it'll be alright." On top of all of this, I saw an entire stack of boxes (about 7 feet high) fall over and come crashing down in the truck. While I was pleased with the office staff, I would not hire this company again due to the carelessness of the movers. read more

I have moved 54 times in my life and I think this was the easiest ever from start to finish thanks to the incredible team I had from Two Men and a Truck! They arrived 15 minutes early all in clean uniforms and got right on the job. I had a few nerves about several pieces of furniture and a commercial embroidery machine and these five gentlemen put me right at ease. They were efficient, swift and friendly. They wrapped everything extremely well and packed the trucks (2) with room to spare. The professionalism was amazing as one gentleman was a trainee and the others took him under their wing to teach him the secrets of the trade. Not only did they load and unload in time but it was done two hours earlier than estimated! I was so incredibly impressed that not only will I recommend them to everyone I know, but I will use them again and again! Thanks guys!!!! You are the very best! Horrible experience. We hired them to load our truck for a long distance move, and even provided 4 dozen moving blankets, they only used a few of those. Our furniture was beaten and scratched, and they packed our Duncan Phyfe table with the legs down and then stacked it with boxes to the ceiling of the truck, some clearly marked "HEAVY". Our table's legs were shattered beyond repair. The local franchise offered us initially $100 for the table, we declined it. They then offered $200 as their final offer, we declined that. They loaded a propane tank, gas cans and light bulbs in the back, we discovered by the team that unloaded us that was very dangerous and we would have been ticketed if stopped on the road. They state they are "movers who care", I'm not seeing this. I see that damaged our furniture and put us in danger, and then don't want to take care of us. read more

I recently used this franchise of Two Men and a Truck for a local move in Saint Augustine. I chose the company due to my past experience with another TMT franchise that was based out of the Tampa Bay Area. This was the complete opposite! There was no upfront warning from the movers when they arrived that the estimate was off and I was misquoted. What was supposed to take 6 hours took almost 8 because you the lack of experience of the the movers. They were stuck for almost an hour trying to get my dresser upstairs. The stairwell was damaged in this process. When the manager arrived to assist with the dresser he "fixed" the stairs by glueing the damage pieces down. Thankfully my painter was there and stapled them in place. The manager thought crediting me 45 minutes was fair. That's how long the spent on stairs wiring for him to arrive. After finally getting settled I realized that several of pieces of my jewelry were missing from the dresser being turned sideways. The company genuinely did not and still does not care that items were missing and still can not be found. He sent me their disclaimer and charged my account what they feel was fair. I don't recommend them. I gave them 2 stars because the young movers were nice and completed the move. read more

I would never recommend this company. We had this company move our heavy furniture into a storage facility while our house was being built. When we had the furniture moved out of storage we discovered major gashes and a large crack in the front of the top piece of our large entertainment system. My grandmother's chest of drawers that we have moved several times with no damage, had gashes out of the bottom of it. Several pieces of our furniture had damage. It made me sick to see our things damaged so badly. My husband called and reported this to the company 6 weeks ago and we have yet to hear back from them. Don't use this company ! read more

Worst moving experience ever. The movers were inexperienced and I'm pretty sure did not receive any formal training. 90% of the items moved were damaged, such as rips/ tears in sofas that were filthy because of the move, all wood pieces were damaged - large dents and huge scratches, 3 sets of mattresses that were horribly dirty as though someone had pulled them on the ground, plus damage to our home and driveway. The move was horrible and having to wait over 2 months for the insurance claim to be processed was ridiculous. The office manager, Danielle, was the worst person that I have ever dealt with in a customer service position. Our furniture will never be as it was and I wish I would have never hired this company. Save yourself from this excruciating experience and hire another company. I would have given zero stars, but the lowest you could rate was one star. Worst experience ever. read more

This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had with any professional company. The movers were nice, but lacked the experience and skill that you'd expect from professional moving company employees. The movers were extremely slow and damaged multiple expensive pieces of furniture and have not followed up at all on that matter. The manager assigned to our complaint was rude and unapologetic and was less professional acting than the actual movers. An insulting offer of $24 off of our $600 bill was the only attempt at dealing with our situation. Worst of all, when we voiced our complaints and said that not only would we not sign the contract or pay our bill until it was properly dealt with, the manager said, "We already have a credit card on file and it's already been charged." read more
