Hot Tub in its new home
    Jovie B.

Called around several moving companies and Premier Movers were the only ones that would move a hot tub! Michael and his team were efficient, polite, and very professional. Innovative equipment so they could move the hot tub with no damage. Extremely reasonably priced and the whole move took less than 2 hours which included the 20min drive from old location to the new. If you are looking for expert movers at a competitive price for your precious belongings, Premier Movers are your guys! Will definitely be calling them for all my moving needs.

This is my desk that I have on covered by moving the moving pads and see the damage they've done. They have not fix the fridge they broke and promised to fix. And now we have uncovered the Rolltop desk and this is the damage done. Stay away from these guys.

    House fire in March 2020

I had requested Nisvet with Premier Movers to help salvage some of our stuff from our house fire we had back in March. Due to the condemnation of the property he took the safety precautions not to enter. As well as concerns of the roof collapsing. But by the blessings of God he helped our family start over. He provided us furniture, and my daughter clothes and toys. He is supporting us to rebuild our lives. Thank you Nisvet from the Nguyen family!!

Normally this is something my wife and I would just handle, and maybe recruit some friends...but she was 8 month pregnant at the time and I wouldn't let her pick up anything heavy. So we turned to a moving company. After reading through review for several companies, and excluding ones that weren't available on the upcoming weekend we landed on Jaguar movers, and I'm super happy with our choice. The initial communication with them was very professionally, they gave us all the details we needed, and followed up with any questions we had. On the day of the move both Cory and Waymon showed up a few minutes early, did a walk through of the house, and then got right to work. My wife and I had packed up most of the stuff already but they wrapped up anything that might get damaged in any way. At the new house they were patient while we pointed out where everything went, and were super careful putting things down on the hardwood floors. To top the entire experience off; a very small support piece from an Ikea piece got misplaced in the move and none of use could find it. We looked through the truck and I really feel like Cory and Waymon did a great job looking for it. Even though we couldn't find it, it must have been in the truck somewhere because the next day they drove back to our new house to return it! Overall I was highly impressed with both Cory and Waymon, and Jaguar Movers as a whole, and would recommend them to anyone else looking to move.

I made my hopefully final move into a house and scheduled them for 9am. I called around 9:20 to find out where they were, no one had contacted me. Said there was a personal emergency and it would be 10:30. 11 rolls around, still nothing. I call again because they are not keeping me updated, they finally arrive around 11:30. It took over six and a half hours, constant complaints of how a third guy wasn't sent, they didn't wrap anything other than my tv, and actually broke off some of the brick on my steps at my new place for how rough they were being with my belongings. And after all that.... A 5% discount. Please do not use Jaguar moving. You and your furniture deserve much better.

They are able to take furniture apart and put it back together while other movers say, "No way!". They did a great job packing up my 2 PODS containers before I moved from FL to NC. They did such a great job that I probably didn't even need the second container. They disassembled my bed and glass desk and wrapped everything up so well. Nothing was broken or damaged after the long interstate move. I'm sad I can't use them anymore because I am NC. Such a great group of guys!

Although the guys were super nice and friendly they weren't too knowledgeable when it came to putting my things back together. Adjustable bed they moved is now lifting up on side so it's no longer stable, dining room table wasn't fully secured with the screws but they did an amazing job moving my furniture from the old house upstairs to down without messing up the walls too much. I ended up paying $930 for a 5 hour move spanning about 7 miles apart from one another. Needless to say I'm disappointed. We had 3 bedrooms and a full living room set, a dining room table and a grill. Beware of current pricing as the prices increased significantly per hour from my original quote from the owner. I wouldn't write them off but I would definitely be more aware of what I'm getting myself into the next time around. I paid almost the same amount for an out of state move. Update: I gave an additional star due to the owner reaching out to attempt to alleviate the problem with my bed rolling. Thanks Jake.

I am responding publicly only because my private attempts to resolve this were ignored. I am escalating this matter further. I chose this company because they have been around for years and appeared reliable. Unfortunately, the move was left incomplete, despite an in person quote and a full pack and move agreement. One crew left early without finishing and told me everything was packed when it was not. A second crew arrived the next day, but management refused to complete the job unless I paid more than the quoted amount. I offered multiple reasonable solutions, including providing my credit card information to be charged later, and was refused. I also requested to speak with the owner and was never contacted. The move caused damage including scratched wood floors and broken furniture. I am now left needing to hire another mover to finish the job. Based on this experience, I would not recommend them.

Additionally, we were verbally assured by the head mover on the day of the occurrence that all the items that were broken due to their negligence would be replaced. He advised to get quotes from the glass company and submit the quote along with the value of the television and submit them to First Coast Movers in order to be reimbursed. Lee & Cates glass quoted $1,794.75 to replace the glass, and the flat screen television was originally purchased for $700. However, Dane Raymond Del Pezzo from FCM stated that, "...based on the weight of the items, the total amount for your claim is $270 for your refund..." Their breach of verbal contract was unacceptable. If you're thinking about selecting a local mover, FIND ANOTHER ONE. Like their promises, FCM will surely break your valuable items as well!

Recently, I hired Quick Moves of Florida to move my household belongings. Prior to signing them up, I asked around and was surprised at the number of people who were so displeased with the movers they had used. Needless to say, this feedback worried me. I looked them up on YELP and saw that the comments were all good. I spoke to Michelle in the office and liked her explanation and decided to hire them. Move day was January 30th. They were scheduled to be at my door between 9-9:30am. At 8:30, I got a call from the lead guy, Joe, who said that they would be a little late. The two movers and their truck rolled up to my driveway at 10am. Joe Stingone introduced himself and his partner and we discussed what was about to happen. Then they got to work. They loaded my packed boxes and furniture. Both of them - Joe and Jonathan - were very nice and respectful. They were talkative and asking me relevant questions such as what stays and what goes. They used blankets to wrap most of the furniture (dressers, bookcases and some tables) so they would not get damaged in the move. They handled fragile items with care. I was amidst the whole time but not in their way nor micro-managing their work. The job was quick and efficient and finished earlier than I expected. Their fees are reasonable and not outlandish. I saw them do really good work - the best that I had seen to date. I highly recommend Quick Moves of Florida.

What…read morestarted as a $579 quote turned into a $1,200+ disaster that left my belongings broken, my apartment half-empty, and my storage unit a dangerous mess. 1. Property Damage & Negligence The most devastating part of this move was the complete disregard for my electronics. I provided professional TV boxes with foam corners; instead, they shoved my TVs into two-piece boxes with the screens exposed. Now, both TVs are ruined. One screen is visibly shattered, and neither unit will even power on. They took "professional" equipment and treated it like trash. 2. Price Gouging & Bait-and-Switch This company practices predatory pricing. I was quoted $579. Once they had my items on their truck overnight, the owner demanded $1,260. I felt completely extorted. He offered a measly 10% "discount" when I complained, but the final price was still double the estimate for a job that wasn't even finished. 3. Chronic Unprofessionalism The movers arrived 1.5 hours late and spent the first 30 minutes on the phone with their boss. Despite having a reserved freight elevator and a storage unit only 4 miles away, they moved at a snail's pace. They went "radio silent" for over an hour while I waited for them at the storage facility, later claiming their phones "died." 4. Incomplete Work & Reckless Packing * Abandoned Items: They left numerous boxed-up items sitting right by my apartment door, forcing me to deal with the move myself after paying them over $1,100. * Storage Disaster: They packed my unit so poorly that I can only open the door six inches before items begin falling out. Sentimental items were crushed and broken because they lacked basic stacking skills. 5. Zero Accountability When I sent the owner photos of the damage, he spent 30 minutes on the phone defending his "professionalism" rather than offering a refund for the damaged TVs or the unfinished work. He is a smooth talker who takes no responsibility for his crew's incompetence. I had to hire another company to fix the mess he made. Save your money and your sanity. This company is dishonest, overpriced, and will break your expensive belongings.

I despise the entire process of moving. From packing to storage, it is the worst experience I can imagine. That being said, I can only sing the praises of New Chapters Moving Company and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR TEAM!!! From my first encounter with Bridget and constant organized follow-up from Emily, I knew that I'd made the right choice. After so many nightmare companies and irresponsible, rude and uncooperative movers, I was prepared to revisit the moving nightmares of my past. What an incredible surprise when I was graced with THE BEST movers that I'd ever encountered. David, Brandon, Everett and Greg were absolutely the friendliest, most helpful, patient, kind hearted, easy going, FAST AS "F", organized, efficient, movers that I have EVER had the pleasure of using!!! I had everything put in to storage and the packing job they did was EXEMPLARY! The owner George, was extremely generous and offered a discount on the final costs (thank the heavens) and to assure all was going to plan, was in constant communication with me throughout the entire move. He even came out at the end to introduce himself and make sure that I was OK with everything. I haven't a single complaint with New Chapters and if you are contemplating moving and looking for a company that you can trust and afford, I STRONGLY recommend using them!!! They are not part of a chain or franchise, but locally owned and operated!!! Thank you New Movers for making the chaos of moving bearable! 5 Stars!!!
