I chose this company because it had great reviews. The owner replied quickly, that was another positive attribute and he would reply anytime during the day of moving when I had a question. Now for the bad. They ruined my sofa, I thought they put furniture on top of padding so it doesn't get grease on the fabric? Black grease on the side of the sofa. Second thing, they were suppose to bring a 3 man team and ended up with 2. More time it takes, more money. At the end, at bill paying time they took off $25 for the third person not showing! Thirdly, they sure chat up with my hubby. Hmmm, more time, more money. The time sure stretched out. Finally, that I know of right now, they put boxes wherever! I clearly had each box marked as to which room it goes. They would also ask me, I finally started saying "what's the box say?" Moving is stressful as it is, I would know, I've done it every two years most of my life (military). This was pretty stressful. I also tipped generously because I know moving "stuff" is not easy. When I move again, because I get restless in one place, I may have to find a different moving company. read more

From my first call with Chad to them setting up my moved furniture in my house, this experience was top-notch. Shout out to da homie Susan Q for her review as it was getting down to the wire and other movers I had contacted had mixed reviews or didn't respond back to me at all. Chad is so personable! He gave me a quote over the phone which was more than fair and reasonable for the amount of stuff we had, also being on a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. He assured me that they could get it done with 3 guys in less than a day. While there was no availability on the day I really wanted to move most of the stuff, Chad went out his way to call me back twice to see if he could move some things around to find some time to do so. What mover do you know that will go that far? I chose another day that would work for both of us and it was booked. I called Chad a week before the move and he re-assured me that everything would be fine as I was worried about how much there was to move and that I didn't want them to be overwhelmed. Day of, 4 guys show up and they are 15 mins early. All the guys introduced themselves, backup the truck and start moving our stuff, sone by hand done by dolly. Chad comes and we meet face to face for the first time. He checked all the furniture and boxes and agreed that it was a lot but it could be done. The guys make small talk with us and we laugh, a lot. They took alot of things to the truck that I didn't think they would and I was very grateful for that. They disassembled both bed frames and took our dressers which still had our clothes in them. When we all got over to the house they unloaded everything faster than they loaded the truck, asking us where in the house did we want the items and taking the liberty on some items on how to place them in the rooms, which I liked. My parents used Chad to move. They donated a lot of furniture before moving so the quote required an understanding of what was being moved rather than looking up a typical '3-bedroom house' move. Based on what he heard, Chad suggested two movers. The team of two (Edwin and Ty) showed up 15 to 30 minutes early. They were extremely friendly, respectful and hard workers. Three men would have actually been tripping over each other in this situation. The rate at which they worked made this a reasonable cost move. Highly suggest them. read more

**Update** Chad contacted me to apologize. He took full accountability and explained what he felt lead to our overall confusion. He offered to refund our travel fee and part of our moving fees and explained that he never wants a customer to have a negative takeaway from his business. Like I said in my previous review, the guys that helped us move were fast and friendly. My only gripe was really with the surprise travel fee and Chad not being present for our move (which he explained was because the movers who helped us are getting their own truck soon and have started doing their own jobs). I cannot imagine our move without Chad and his team. They helped move my mother in laws home and then we used them for our home-all within a month of each other. Moving is a stressful day but was made less painful because these guys were on top of it. They worked for hours and hours straight. They were pleasant-not not even pleasant- happy to help us move. Chad and his team are exactly what you want with movers. The price was very good, and consistent, with no surprises. It took us 11 1/2 hours to move, and he build us for 11 1/2 hours. He didn't round it up. No additional fees for gas or mileage, and the care that they take of your things is immaculate. This is a crew that works together a lot (employees, not contract workers) and Chad is there on the moves. If I could give this team 6 stars I would. Chad was very responsive and easy to work with and I think his most used sentence is 'we can take care of that for you'. His team were all super nice, efficient, and made me feel like some of my more embarrassing packing fails (you know, the three boxes that won't even close because you've thrown the last 20 random items in them) were totally normal. Everything was 'no problem', 'naw, you're fine', and 'ma'am, I can handle that'. They disassembled and reassembled the bed, the treadmill, the tvs, etc. and everything arrived at the new house and was put back together exactly as it was (even the Queen bed that had to go up the super steep loft stairs). He was so patient with us, we had to move the dates forward at least three times. He was so patient and understanding. Best price you'll get by anyone. Only one thing. at the end make sure you ask how much it will cost for him to get back to his office. I was somewhat dismayed. also, it costs $130.00 more each hour that you have the work past the 9 hrs. quoted. so, if you don't want to get charged extra, don't go over the 9 hrs. mark, otherwise you will be charged.
