The selection in this store is extensive. There is a lot to look at and something for everyone. We happened to be here during "Christmas-time" so there were a lot of ornaments and other Christmas things. I'm not sure if it's always like this but I liked the selection and the Christmas cheer. While I will say that prices are pretty high here, I was surprised that the pricing at the airport was exactly the same. To be honest, I would have not bought 3 small bottles of jam on Main St and bought a large one at the airport but hindsight is 20/20. I know for next time. The people working here were super friendly as well. We had a good conversation about visiting Bozeman while we were checking out and I wish I had spoken to them when I first arrived.

They don't have a duty free shop, but they have this selection of things that say, "Montana" or have pictures of bison and wolves or buffalo or whatever. They have all the kitchy touristy stuff- huckleberry jams, huckleberry candies, candles, moose pictures, and things to put on the wall with clever Montana sayings or bits of wisdom. "Don't squat with your spurs on." You'll always remember the Bozeman airport every time you dust it from now on. The staff was attentive but looked bored otherwise, like we were the biggest thing to come through the gift corral in quite some time. They also sold magazines with all the hippest fashions and gossips. Montana Gift Corral has so much merchandise that it literally spills out into the terminal with displays of shotglasses, cowboy trinkets, patches, stickers, postcards. The Yellowstone gifts aren't quite as expensive as the actual park itself, but it's up there.

So on Saturday I went to check this place out, but to my confusion the place was totally closed, even though the sign on the door clearly said they were open Tuesday-Saturday? I stood around for awhile wondering if the shopkeeper was out to lunch or something, till I thought to check their Facebook, where all it said was that they were closed today. So you guys couldn't even be bothered to put a sign on the shop door saying the same thing? And while I could buy the patch online, the shipping is $9... for one little patch!

There was a sign that clearly stated the return policy, which I was not incompliance with - But I asked about an exchange anyways. Not only did the gal who helped me bring me other pairs and sizes jeans for me to try on, she did so with a kind heart and understanding beyond what I was deserving of. She took a direct monetary loss simply for my own satisfaction as she will not be able to return or sell the jeans I returned. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You earned a lifelong customer today!
