Recently bought a pair of Costas from here a few days ago. As all costas do, this pair had the small sticker on the lenses. This particular pair must have been sitting in the display case for a while, because this particular pair was left with a circular mark on the lenses upon taking off the sticker. A problem I've never had with my other pair of costas. Despite using micro fiber cloth and attempting to clean them myself it would not come off. Having spent a considerable amount of money on these glasses, I decided to take them back to the shop not to ask for a new pair or anything like that, but to ask if they could help or had any ways to get the mark off. Instead of help from the employee working the counter, I was met with mockery and was essentially laughed out of the store. I pointed out to him that you could see it better under the light, and upon doing that he laughed in my face and said "so it's only a problem you can't see makes a lot of sense ". I've been coming to Tws for a long time and never had an experience like this. Disappointed to say the least. Not looking for any hand outs, just would like to not be mocked upon asking for help. read more

5 Stars, BUT there are some teenage jerks working here. There was a young boy between 13-15 that was extremely helpful. He walked me all over the store and got me a real good reel and rod set up. Once I made my selection off of his recommendations which I was very happy with he asked an older teen between 16-18 to help him put the line on it because he'd only done it once and since it was a nice reel he didn't want to mess it up. The older kid was a jerk to him and really didn't help him, then at check out the older kid and another older kid were talking crap about how bad of a job he did. To the owner: if these are your kids... give the business to the younger one, he has a passion for it and was very helpful. He will keep TW'S alive after your gone. The other ones seemed entitled and lazy. They will run it to the ground. read more

Nice bait and tackle shop. Don't be fooled by the size of the store, they packed a lot of stuff in this store. We were surprised that they were the only bait and tackle that had live minnows. The staff is friendly and very helpful! Prices are very reasonable. This is my new go to bait and tackle shop. read more

They have plenty of stuff but you better know what you want. Nobody wants to help you. They just stare at you without any offer. I'm a local but just getting into fishing and this place is nothing like the genuine tackle shops I'm use to back in Minnesota. Won't return! One man asked for bait, he thought he said the right name, but the girls treated him like an idiot, said they didn't have or know of anything like that. How about nicely trying to explain and help to reach a solution instead of treating customers like crap? Just a suggestion. read more

Their supply selection seemed good. I wouldn't know though since I don't normally fish salt water and no one wanted to help us. We stopped at a bait shop in Duck a few days before and the owner was so nice and helpful. At TW's we asked for a recommendation on a place to take the truck off road and fish in the surf. The guy behind the counter actually told us to go to another bait shop and ask. We will go to another bait and tackle shop and give them our money. We won't be back. read more

Great shop, staff is always helpful. Love the fishing reports (on line and at store locations). They have the largest inventory by far, with plenty of choices in gear and accessories, not to mention, the extensive clothing line that they carry. They are a bit pricey with some items, but it's not their fault that there's not much competition on the northern beaches. To their credit, they often have great sales. read more
