They gaslit my son into thinking that if he were more friendly and compassionate he would get along with a very manipulative and entitled student. They taught Montessori principles but when it came to one of their own children, they expected families to look the other way or "understand" the complexities. We thought the environment would be great for our rather shy son, but we were raklroaded by passive aggression. Also staff tends to talk to parents about other children... Very inappropriate. If you decide to send your child here, RUN at the first hint of these behaviors because it will only continue. My wife and I discussed these matters with staff, but they continued to ask what my son could have done to mitigate the bullying. We finally had enough and decided to leave. Our son is thriving in fourth grade and we feel supported by teachers who are not compromised by their own personal issues. ​

She is warm and genuinely interested in each and every student's dreams and accomplishments. All of the staff seem to want to cultivate confidence in them to excel. Mrs. McDonough, the principal is always helpful and responsive. Students are encouraged to advocate for themselves, especially with class selection & teachers. Over the past two years, there has been a tremendous shift to expose the students to events with national leaders, business owners, career fairs, service and internship opportunities. The lunch menu needs to be tweaked, yes. The are many clubs to join and have a leadership role in or you can petition to start your own. Arts, Dance and Athletics is heavily supported and cheered for. If you love music, Dr. Tatum welcomes you regardless of your skill level. The Orchestras, Choir and Honors Wind Ensemble compete nationally, and again won in New York with a superior rating. The Choir was honored to be invited to perform at the White House! They offer Pre-Career Programs in Law, Engineering & Pharmacy and the Young Women's Entrepreneurship Program with a Professional Etiquette class students love -taught by Ms. Lawson. "Light to know. To deal with kids all day long at this age is impressive. The administrator/owner of the center is always cheerful around the parents, although I'm sure behind the scenes it is much different for the personnel. My suggestions for the center would be to upgrade some of the "old school" look of the center such as the TV and maybe the color and wood. Lots of ants are complained about by my child. Additionally, some of the fees are steep but somewhat manageable because you are to break up the payments if the need arises. Summer fees are not really explained especially when you are providing the lunch. Graduation fees are ridiculous since they will not be able to wear the gown again because of size and color. A graduation hat with them wearing white would be more reasonable financially or maybe a program where you give them back and just borrow them for that day. PreK graduation is not essential IMO.

Instructor was on the phone the whole time, told her about what exits to take too late and almost made her cause several accidents, told her that she was slow several times. took months (2-3) to schedule an appointment. when she arrived to the appointment she was told to wait in the waiting room, she waited until 20 minutes after her appointment time, when the instructor came to get her he had an attitude and snapped at her that "he was waiting downstairs for 20 minutes". At the end of the drive she tried to go back upstairs to wait for me and she said that he yelled at her "where do you think you're going" and she had to basically ask his permission to start walking.

The parents will have to teach their kids how to drive with a minimum of 20 hours prior to you scheduling an appointment with the Instructor. They are conducting mini exams on their driving performance. This is a waste of money for them not teach them how to drive. This is defeating the purpose of having an Instructor to teach you how to drive.

The nongender bathroom didn't have working locks which I hope is fixed. The gender bathroom, for females, was very nice and clean.
