I was hoping to establish care since moving back to Tyler, after sending a request I was denied an appointment they stated I was a no show in 2021. I don't even remember making the appointment in 2021. So no chance of ever scheduling with them. I could see if repeated no shows but I was never even seen here. I have been going to see providers at TIMA for many years for asthma and osteoporosis and well woman care. I have never had any negative experiences there. The processes in the office are very organized and smooth. I first saw Dr. Hayden, then when she retired, saw Dr. Branch. I have seen many of the P.A.'s and N.P's there, who have all been very knowledgeable, professional, and thorough. I will continue to go and would recommend them to anyone. They have not ordered any unnecessary tests for me. I am an RN so I can always tell what is necessary and what is not. TIMA has never ordered any unnecessary tests for me. They deserve many more stars than I can give. I saw Renata today, and she, too, is very knowledgeable. read more

Another appointment with Dr Peterson on March 5, 2026..... unfortunately the new non-statin drug did not work.... it gave me a rash and made me dizzy, Dr put me back on zetia...... I also had taken a cologuard test but unfortunately a staff member lost the results but doctor said it did show "positive" on something so he requested I consider a colonoscopy ..... my mammogram was all good, but I let him know it was the worst mammogram I ever had..... I was sore for 5 days and felt "violated" by the girl who did the exam.... I will go elsewhere in the future..... All I requested was something to help me stop cravings as I am 20 pounds overweight and if I can stop the sweet cravings, I feel confident the weight will come off especially with my exercise routine.... but I never got a prescription for anything so I will go elsewhere for help...... I think Dr Peterson is a wonderful doctor, its just unfortunate that I had a terrible mammogram and the cologuard results were lost and the new cholesterol medicine didn't work and there is nothing to help with weight loss...... c'est la vie read more

Worst doctor's office ever, hands down. Avoid these people at all costs. They will try and milk every penny out of you with needless procedures and office visits. Then when you actually need them to talk to insurance company for approval they refuse. read more

A truly smart, caring physician practices there--Dr. Amy Simpson--and I can highly recommend her and TIMA in general. I've gone there for going on 15 years, I guess, as has my husband, and now our adult children. If you tell Dr. Simpson you are having a problem she genuinely does all she can to diagnose it, order whatever tests are required, and personally deliver the results to you. I like being able to get help when something unexpected comes up, and whether I see the doctor or an PA or NP, it's a lot better than a trip to the emergency room for something other than a true emergency. Emergency rooms are too be avoided these days unless you really need to be there!! The office staff is polite and competent. Overall, as you can tell, we are pleased with the service TIMA provides. read more

First, I don't want to ever have to see a P.A. I want to see a REAL DOCTOR. Second, in referring to my first statement, unnecessary test were run so they could charge me whatever they want to. I'm self-pay, so there is supposed to be a set fee for whatever test they are supposed to be doing. When you go to pay, it's some astronomic number that is completely insane. If they want to screw the insurance companies, fine but not me. Third, when you do complain about their billing, they don't care. They just expect you to pay it. Buzbee and all of his cronies are a perfect example of how screwed up the medical field is. They are the biggest crooks. They lie and tell you one thing, and then after your visit, they tell you another and expect you to bend over and take it and give them whatever amount of money they dream up that day! There are amazing Physicians in this practice. I have been seen at TIMA since 2012. My understanding of the new patient process is for the physician to review your medical records provided, accept you if they are the best fit for your care. Dr. Park retired in Jan 2022, I transferred to Dr. Buzbee & Chris Williams P.A. I've worked with many Physicians and their staff over the last 20 years. On my first visit with Chris Williams, every single concern was addressed. That rarely happens on the first visit or ever when seeing a Doctor. My blood work was ordered complete and it actually cost me less out of pocket. Dr. Buzbee & Chris Williams P.A. are well above average physician's. I have had an amazing experience since they took over my care. read more

Both my husband and I have been going to TIMA for 15+ years. We can't say enough about the doctors and staff at all levels. Highly professional, caring, knowledgeable, and ethical. We like having labwork, appointments, and diagnostic machines (mri, X-ray, bone density, heart/lung, etc) in one convenient location outside of a hospital environment. If I could give zero stars I would! My complaints go from ordering unnecessary tests, never giving you the test results, the doctors do not listening to you, ordering the wrong tests, and putting referrals in for the wrong medical conditions. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! All the while Kelly Cox was complaining about how horrible UT Health was...UMM, excuse me? UT Health didn't screw up this badly in such a short period of time. All he does is bad mouth UT Heath and his time working with the helicopter program. He called in imaging for my son for a medical condition that he completely made up and had absolutely nothing to do with what he actually needed to be seen for. I filed a complaint with insurance and demanded a refund. They refused to allow us to switch doctors...probably for the best because when I got on here I saw it's an epidemic of this office to order unnecessary tests. TOTAL SCAM!! The nursing staff doesn't even know the difference between a VSD and a heart murmur,....apparently, the doctors don't either since they ordered the wrong tests and diagnosed the wrong medical conditions. As if that's not scary enough, they can't even take responsibility for it and make it right. They just want your money. I would never recommend this place. Good luck getting in. My doctor retired, my application which was included only name dob and reason for being seen was to establish care with a new PCP. I was "rejected" by Dr Branch and Dr Simpson. Very disheartening. Shouldn't be hard or even an issue to get in with a doctor. read more

A puzzling operation. I was seen by Dr. Buzbee for about a year then sudden got a letter that I needed to get another doctor....no explanation, nothing. I even had tests outstanding that they had billed my insurance company for. A huge disappointment......never had anything like that happen before or after. I had heard such great reports....and getting an appointment there took weeks. I guess that should have been a sign of the things to come. In the end, I wound up with a doctor that I like with a very patient focused staff. In the end I guess it was a blessing to have realized their questionable practices when I did. I'm from a family of physicians....they told me to run! read more

If I could give zero stars, it would NOT be low enough!!! I can only rate on scheduling because we have not been found worthy. They require you to complete new patient paperwork online before they will schedule an appointment. I guess they have to deem you worthy. Then, they say you will hear back within 3-5 days. It's been two weeks and we continue to be told they're really busy and it should only be another 2-3 days, but that the doctor hasn't even looked at the forms. They're scheduling for July now, so I guess if the doctor ever does find time in her busy schedule, we will finally get an appointment in December. I have been talking to "Lilly." Update - I called Lilly at 8:39 this morning to check the status of scheduling an appointment and once again she said "3-5 days". However; she promised to check with the doctor and call me back before her lunch. And....no call. So, I called and asked to speak to the office manager, at 11:57. The office manager said things were definitely out of the ordinary and she would check and call me back this afternoon. At 4:40 I received a call from "KAREN". And Karen definitely lived up to her name. Karen needs to find another job. I agree with so many on this site who have given negative reviews in regards to the attitude and lack of professionalism of the staff. After being jerked around for two weeks (14 days) (10 workdays) I have been told by enchanting "KAREN" that while DR. SAURETTE IS in fact ACCEPTING new patients, she is declining to accept my mother and I as patients. Apparently, we don't meet her standards. Mind you....although I asked many times, Karen refused to state just what those standards are. Apparently, DR. SAURETTE'S time is too valuable for us. You see, if they collect your age, insurance information, and list of medications upfront, they can weed out those patients they deem unworthy. Those whose life is (or isn't) valuable enough for their time (i.e. PROFILING, i.e. DISCRIMINATION). Why else would that need that specific information upfront? I worked in the medical field for years and I can state without hesitation that there isn't any need. read more

Incredibly poor administrative staff. Have asked repeatedly for copies of bills so that I can resolve issues with our insurance agency. They have refused to provide the bills at issue. I have gone to Tyler Internal Medicine for 20+ years and for the last year I have been very disappointed and truly didn't want to have to make a change. I used to be able to get in for my appointments but even when I make appointments for the very first appointment of the day I can't get in to see my doctor (of 20 years) until well after the lunch hour. Sitting there for 5 to 8 hours is horrible. They also lost my medical records and argued with me about having had vaccinations there. They are horribly overbooked and I just can't use all of my annual vacation time in trying to see my doctor. They also don't respond when my pharmacy sends requests for refills. This puts me in an extraordinally bad situation because if I cannot get certain medications it is dangerous. I couldn't get responses through their patient portal about medications. I have recommendation so many people to them in the past when it was a well run organization. If I could leave a review with negative stars I would. Do research and find a place that will do right by you where you don't have to use all your vacation time trying to see your doctor, where they don't loose medical history, where they don't practice extreme overbooking just to be able to bill more. I hate to leave this review. It really makes me very sad but look elsewhere. read more

I was told that I am going to be cut off of all my medications since I can't pay over 230$ to be seen. I was laughed because I don't have any money during this co vid virus I'm scared of what will now happen to me now that I will be abruptly stopping my 300 mg seroquel and clonzapam after years of taking them and my trazadone. I'm tired of being treated like this and have lost faith in the health care system. I guess rolling the dice is my only option. Update I've had covid 19 for weeks and these people have no souls calling to try to collect money for visits that I've already paid and the same people that cut me off of my medications during the pandemic which could be life threatening now on top of that I have Covid 19 and they have gone ahead and destroyed my credit with a bogus charge. I've explained my situation and they don't care if I have corona virus they don't care to provide proof for the money they say I owe. They don't care what will happen when I'm cut off my medications. They said I could have life threatening conditions if I run out but they won't give me any refills until they bleed me for money I don't have due to not working.
