Their prices were very comparable and the selection was far superior. The entire staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The yard staff (Jose) actually pulled down a new stack of lumbar that was in storage and helped me hand select (and loaded) the best lumbar possible as some of the boards in the sales area weren't quite straight. I haven't had customer service this great in years! Even if I have to pay a little extra, I'll go back here for the fantastic customer service. Well worth it!

I am so glad I did. The supply was much better and prices were way better. These guys manage their own redwood land and mill their product. You save by cutting out a middle man. Between you and I, I think they save the best cuts for their own stores. The staff was great. I just wanted to share a good find. From now on that's where Ill get my lumber. By the way they have all the sizes. The big box may have 12ft and 16 ft but Big Creek has 12'. 14', 16', 18', 20'.

As 2025 passed and there was no permit, and no start date in sight, and on top of that the contractor was less than trust worthy I approached Fergusons to explain the problem: there was no ADU, there was no permit, certainly not in 2025. Fergusons without hesitation refunded me the total $ amount. We were floored. WHAT customer service, WHAT integrity, WHAT goodness walks the floor of this showroom and the management. There was one other person, a yard guy, that I made contact with and he was also very courteous, even loaning us the tools we needed to accomplish getting the items we wanted. Appreciate their taking the time to educate us on the various products available and where they work best. We will absolutely use them again if the need arises.
