Called, and they were packing up to close for the weekend, however they had the tyre I was told I needed. Said if I get to them within 10 minutes (I was only around the corner) they would do it before they shut. Got there only for them to find out I had been wrongly advised of the tyre type and they didn't have that in. So they got on the phone (to my usual place) - found a tyre, went and picked it up while others from their terrific team prepped the car for the arrival of the tyre. All done and dusted in 15 minutes as they all helped out. Paul and the team could not have been more helpful or more kind, when I am sure all they really wanted to do was finish up and start a well deserved 3 days off! Thank you :-)

It didn't matter that I know next to nothing about cars, they sorted it all out for me without making me feel like a total idiot. The service was quick, efficient and professional. I notice that as well as tyre replacement, they also do vehicle servicing and a number of other technical things. The replacements could not be got from the usual tyre places. In some case they thought they had got a replacement but when it arrived it was incorrect. The car dealerships were not much help either. A wait of a few months we were told. Will (Audi Artarmon) gave us a ray of hope and suggested we try AAA Tyres. Ben at AAA Tyres was not only able to supply a tyre; he supplied two of different rarities. He was an interesting bloke to speak with as well. He keeps his eyes open for new cars with unusual tyres then stocks them. The factory units look like they have grown like topsy. The place is huge as it services trucks and cars. It is easy to find and when you get there there is a TV and coffee machine and a nice place to sit while you wait.
