Not being our approved mechanic for our car's warranty, the owner contacted the warranty company to provide them his certifications so that he could work on our car. Being almost across the road from home, it was so convenient. It was our brakes that were worst and the car was virtually not drivable by the time we got it there. It was also in dire need of a service. For $60 they changed the calipers and pads on the brakes and for just another $60 completely serviced it as well. All in one day. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they were even smiling when we went to pick it up. Great service, at a fantastic price, locally. What more could you want?

They found the LH wheel was over tightened and the RH wheel was under tightened. They then over tightened the RH to be same as LH. When driving away the linings over heated, burned and the car stopped by itself. It cost a further $132 at another garage to machine the drums again and have the brakes correctly adjusted. Their action was irresponsible and totally lacking in customer care.

Honestly they were great, I was expecting a bit of a run around and potentially be advised to get the expensive tyres, but he asked what I was after and gave me a couple of reasonably priced options. Looks like a family run business that's been going for a generation or two and pride themselves on service and quality. Transmission was also serviced because they detected some faults on the MB star equipment they use. Tranny shifted much better after service. Parts replaced were on the bench when I picked up the car. Smart, sharp French guy who has good knowledge of the Benz. I was surprised on how confident he was about his work and my car did feel much smoother after service. I will take my car to them from now on.. Melbourne Motorcycle Fairings did a great job back then so I looked them up recently as I needed some work done and I was pleased to see they also now do servicing. They're customer service is great - they pay attention to what's wrong / needs doing; they're honest about what they'll do and how long it'll take and they respond promptly to calls and emails. Their work ethic is extremely high and the work they do is excellent. I'm really pleased with the finished job, and the fact that they also fixed up a few other little bits that they spotted needing doing, all for the same price quoted - which is a really good, fair price. After some research I short listed Melbourne Motorcycle Fairings and was quite happy when they were also a preferred repairer of my insurance company. Great communication from the shop throughout the repair process. In the end my bike was only off the road for a week and once everything was done they dropped it off to my place of work late on a Friday afternoon. I'm extremely happy with the work these guys did and can't fault it or their service. Would highly recommend ... and even though I hope I never have to use them again ;) I would do so without any hesitation.
