I called to speak with Mr. Wortman to address my concerns but he was very rude. The payoff information had to be sent twice. The secretary said she had not received it nor another email with the amount, but I replied back with both emails that were sent a month before. The person holding the note was not contacted until day before closing. The Hud statement was incorrect and we had to ask for corrections twice. I have had over 25 closings though out Brunswick and New Hanover counties, this ranks up there as one of the worst.

Fired employee who was in a serious car accident while running errands for the law office/company time. Sent employees mother text message stating she was fired because "the employee owed the Boss a phone call to explain herself". She was a passenger in a car that was hit by someone else. The drive of the car she was in died in the car accident. The employee was in a coma for 4 days and ICU for 10. Total of 20 days in hospital and this man never called to check on the employee. Employee lost part of her small and large intestines, part of ascending, descending, transverse colon, and lost her spleen and appendix. He had already hired someone in her job and packed her office up weeks before texting employee's mother to say she was fired. Then canceled her Medical benefits knowing she has extensive medical expense. Does not have Cobra and claims he doesn't have workers compensation. Employee needs 2 more surgery's and no way to pay for them and he didn't care enough to let her pay her insurance cost and keep her covered. Then lies to everyone about why the employee was fired instead of manning up and telling the truth. NOT GOOD. (Text message can be provided for proof that this is not a lie)
