The truck was fine, The lady who said she was, the manager was an absolute terrible customer service representative very rude and condescending to me my wife and the customer before us and we had to wait a half hour when we were picking up the truck because Staff was too busy arguing with a different customer. The manager said I didn't fill up the gas far enough. And she was going to charge me $28. I filled it up at the gulf station about 2 miles away on route 138, I put in $20 in gas roughly. I made sure it was full I drove 59 miles. What a racket. They need a manager who understands customer service and treating people in a polite way. read more

These employees were super bummed out to be there, like projecting it from the international space station with a laser cannon bummed out. Lady there charges me $12 for a 20 mile drive after suggesting I go back out and purchase 2 gallons of gas after I just moved. Do you have any idea of the caliber of drivers in Stoughton? If I could give less stars I would. On July 12,2023 My poor husband was in an accident and his truck was totaled. He was ok physically but needed a truck asap to continue working. He had a very large truck and needed a big rental to store his many large tools and ladders and use for work until he could figure out his next step. The woman there in charge, (unfortunately don't know her name) was incredibly rude, abrasive and non helpful. Didn't even say hi when we came in. Kept bullying us into understanding some confusing policy and information. We walked out in disgust. I've never seen such horrible customer service and interactions. She was actually combative. Shameful behavior. We would have paid any amount since it was an emergency. Would never recommend this place. read more

The wife and I recently moved and needed UHauls services. Upon entering the establishment you could tell that (I believe her name was either Shelly or Sherry) had been overworked. Being in the service industry myself I could tell....its not the business...many of the customers she deals with are....for lack of a better word. Just bad. Impatience....selfishness and the ego of the spoiled public....especially during Covid?!?!? (trying to skip lines when they obviously see they are busy... cutting you off when trying to return the truck and keys...and these are just the few things ive noticed....sad) When I went to return the keys the wife and I felt bad. We wanted to bring cold drinks for the people working but didnt know if it would be accepted Simply put. They do a great job. They handle business and answer any and all questions you have.. I rarely need to go to U-Haul, but I needed a tow hitch installed, and this was the only location able to take a next day appointment. They told me my appointment was at 1, and I got a confirmation via a receipt. It took two hours for them to see me... When I asked for an update, they would give me lip service and say 15-minutes or almost done. When I complained at the front desk, they said, "this is a drop off appointment." My receipt doesn't say drop off and no one told me that. Totally unprofessional, and I would not recommend this location to anyone. Customer service doesn't exist here, and the customer is not right! Awful experience. They kept me waiting for half an hour there was no one else there. The guy that was working there was very rude. Then the supervisor Sherry came in absolutely horrible customer service. A slovenly demeanor, and completely unprofessional. It look like she hated working there and was letting everyone know. She even berated the employee who was not as experienced as her. She raised her voice insisting that I needed to provide information that I didn't have. What was I supposed to do make it up? I needed storage for my office as we were moving to another place at the end of the month but after a full hour trying to get through to these people I shelved the whole idea and left. Do not waste your time here. This was very unprofessional experience I can't even imagine at the end of the rental period, the problems that they would bring up given they had been so difficult already at the beginning of the business relationship. Super nice people here. Working at a storage place really sucks. You see all kinds of characters plus this place gets to deal with bad drivers. We reserved a truck online (way cheaper than Budget) and came here to scope it out the night before. We originally ordered the 17 ft truck but it looked a little small. For $10 (and additional gas), we upgraded to the 26 ft. The nice people at the Uhaul place opened up both trucks and let us pick. They were really honest about gas mileage and cost differences and didn't just pressure us for the bigger truck. They also let us change the time to a full day even though we only needed it for four hours. read more

Yikes, rudest staff ever. After a day of moving, my boyfriend, friend, and I dropped off our rental truck at this place. The staff were extremely rude, unhelpful, condescending and overall just left a sour taste in my mouth. We get it, you hate your job/life, but don't take it out on the customers. Dealing with this place was seriously more stressful than the move itself. If I ever move again, I'll drive out of my way next time just to avoid these people. Ugh. read more
