Leaving a review because I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Recently had my car towed by the Sharon PD due to a registration issue. Was I happy about it? No. Was it my own fault? Yes. They were responsive and helpful. It was no more expensive than any other towing companies that I've encountered in the past. In fact, i thought the extra days storage charge was reasonable. Updated review *** Joe / current owner (old reviews don't apply as different owners & old) is a pleasant professional personable - overall nice guy. Costs are consistent. Future repair service in a new building after potential property developed with signage could be a nice addition to his business once given the green light by town/ others agencies holding up the development of old factory site with many businesses in back of main brick street structure. No one enjoys going to a tow yard shortly after a stress of an event whatever caused your vehicle to be towed - easy to project your emotions on others at those moments. Be accountable. Auto Rescue Towing was called by the Foxboro Police to tow my car out of a flooded area. Joe was so kind as he pulled my car out of the flooded area as quickly as he could. He insisted I stay in the car, so I did not get wet. I truly appreciated his professionalism and his overall demeanor. He made a horrible situation better for me. Contrary to all of the previously posted reviews (it's hard to believe that it's even the same business) I had a great experience with annex. It's started with not being able to find the lot... I had to call haha, which I'll admit made me nervous after reading the yelp page but the gentleman that answered the phone was so pleasant. Then Tony, who helped me clean out my vehicle, even moved it to a more accessible spot for me then made sure i had anything and went above and beyond what was required of him to get my VERY stuck license plates off my car. Very speedy and professional service, hopefully I never have to use them for accident recovery again but would not hesitate for any other services. Charged me $75 for wasting his time. Total joke. I have a small business and it's managers like this that make my life hell. Got my car towed there and absolute nightmare getting it back. Charged me $375 for a tow from patriot place to their lot. I'll leave it in the lot before dealing with these guys again. read more

Rude, obnoxious, awful people. When you call they swear at you. When you ask how much a tow costs they will quote you a figure that is both extremely high and illegal. The tow prices are set by the state and are: 272.03: Maximum Charges for Passenger Automobiles, Motorcycles, Motor Bikes or Motor Scooters (1) For all Passenger Automobiles, motorcycles, motor bikes, motor scooters and all vehicles capable of being transported by crane and dolly or on a ramp truck, the maximum charge for towing up to five miles shall not exceed $108.00 per vehicle towed regardless of day of week or time of day; General Laws Part I Title XXII Chapter 159B "The maximum storage charge for non-commercial passenger motor vehicles with a maximum capacity of nine persons, shall be $35 per twenty-four hour period thereof, when said vehicles have been involuntarily towed or transported pursuant to order of police or other public authority, or pursuant to accident on a public way, pursuant to section thirty-nine A of chapter two hundred and fifty-five, or when said vehicles have been stolen or misappropriated and their removal from public ways has been ordered by police or other public authority, or in any other situation where motor vehicles have been involuntarily towed or transported by order of police or other public authority and maximum storage charges are not specifically regulated by law." read more

I'm an Asian woman who is 6 months pregnant with a toddler in the car. I didn't get the same treatment as Shelia in the previous post and I'm sure it's because I'm Asian. Sharon police needs to stop their relationship with these guys. The guy is a liar. When he's around his buddy cop friends, he acts polite, customer oriented, compassionate and friendly. When you call in the phone, his MASSHOLE kicks in. Talk about dr jekyll and mr hyde! Faking to get Sharon PD contracts, I'm sure. Handed me his card and told me he'd be open at 8am Monday. Called to see if I could grab my belongings and was giving me excuses that there's nobody there and he's not going to send somebody to open the place so I can grab my personal belongings. Then said I needed to pay my bill to get my belongings and told me that insurance had to call him to tell him that they're paying the bill. He pretends over the phone that dispatch and towing guys are separate people but they're all him! Lies constantly! Once my insurance called, he said it'll be open in a half hour. Then I show up and he gives me a difficult time about grabbing my things including my plates. He then calls Sharon police to come to Foxboro! They have no jurisdiction in Foxboro and has the audacity to say I don't know what I'm talking about. Crazy making. Sharon police shows up and it's clear they're buddies. Sharon police needs to end this cronyism. read more

I needed a tow today immediately (it was an emergency) and when I called, they told me it would be about 1/2 an hour. Joe was there in 10 minutes and had the job done quickly, professionally and was so courteous. I would absolutely use them again. read more

The Foxboro P.D. had my car towed before I could make my own towing arrangements on Monday. Collected my car on Tuesday the following day and was charged $428.00 for towing 10 miles and storage for 2 days. Extortion rates! What a sweet deal for them. Someone must be getting a kickback for this business. Too bad they didn't tell me to bring my wallet on a crane. I think I'll post this in the Foxboro Reporter to make others aware of this place and to stay clear. Word to the wise, call your own tow and stay with the car until it arrives or be prepared to be robbed without a gun! Literally, highway robbery! read more

This is officially THE WORST TOWING COMPANY ON THE PLANET! I recently totaled my motorcycle which they had to come and tow it to the yard because it wasn't rideable. I helped the tow guy and the cop even though I was the one that crashed because they couldn't even do it themselves. A few days later, I show up at the tow yard. It is almost impossible to get in to the place and if you get close to it, they tell you to back off because there are cameras. There was no office, no friendly hello, just an arrogant asshole. I wait for my appraiser to show up, and then he let me in. He charged 105 dollars to pick it up saying that he had to clean the tow truck because of brake fluid. Are you kidding me? I crashed and I even helped him bring the bike onto his truck and he charged my insurance for that?.... A week later, I called them because I needed the plates from the motorcycle. They wouldn't let me get them until the insurance company got the bike. When they got the bike, I called the tow company and they said they had them OFF the bike in THEIR possession. A few days later, I had my girlfriend pick them up and they DID NOT HAVE THEM AND HAD THE NERVE TO SAY THAT THEY MIGHT OF BEEN ON THE BIKE. FUCK THESE GUYS! read more
