Unfortunately, haven't received a response from anyone regarding my concerns on installation, requested paperwork, warranty, or the proper caulking of flashing for my home. They responded quickly, came to my home, and thoroughly assessed the damage. What really stood out is that they didn't immediately try to push a costly solution. Instead, they advised close monitoring and said they would follow up over the next 60-90 days so I wouldn't spend money that I might not need. However, when my home began to worsen and I could tell the situation was progressing, they acted immediately--scheduled the work right away and returned to install piers to properly elevate and stabilize the home so it would stop sinking. Throughout the entire process, the team was highly professional and respectful of my property. The work area was necessarily invasive, but they kept everything extremely clean and handled my home with care. Communication was excellent, with clear explanations of what to expect and a solid timeline from start to finish. They also provided a full warranty, and the quality of the job is flawless. Had 2 structural engineering firms - both had different solutions to the same cracks. Called Lonnie and Jack at Lincoln Jacob Construction (LJC). They came up with a 3rd solution that incorporated the best of both engineers. Claeton 2nd in command from LJC came over to redo the inspection that the other 2 engineering firms completed. He noted there was a marginal need to do anything . We decided to pursue a minor lift to fortify our foundation. After the completion work, LJC had the engineering firm to do final inspection. Voila - house foundation now solid and leveled. The people at LJC are great - honest, responsive and excellent value for a local Katy company. Some tips ; expect lots holes, but will be filled back up with soil or new concrete patch. For those areas where you don't want an unaesthetic concrete patch - like the entry to your front door -request tunneling. Ask for rebar added to concrete piers to provide more strength. Expect new cracks- this is inevitable but the majority of the my old cracks are much better Make sure engineering firm comes back to certify the completed work. My recommendations work with a good team . The best is Josiah at Crosstown Engineering and work with a honest responsive and excellent construction company - Lincoln Jacob Construction - Jake, Lonnie, Claetan, Omar and Jamie were great.

I waited for Sales Rep Steven F. to return to vehicle to approach him to schedule roof repair. I explained to Steve the issue with roof & showed him pictures of roof damage. He took my information & promised to get back to me. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect that I would hear from him that very evening. He explained a roof install scheduled for weekend was postponed due to rain forcast over the weekend. Steve notified he prioritized my roof over other customer's scheduled because my roof issue involved water damage which would worsen if left un treated. What a great guy Steve is & thoughtful to boot! Today as promised Steve & crew of 2 guys arrived at my home before 8:30 am to began roof repair. Steve explained the decking on roof was rotted & needed to be replaced. Steve stated the decking would be nailed to the effected area of roof to support roofing materials to prevent water leaks. He stated ice water shield would be installed under new shingles to prevent further water damage. Steve covered all the basics before worker's commence roof repair even inquiring whether gutter guy leveled the gutters because he stated if this step wasn't completed it would be useless completing roof repair because roof water issue would persist whenever, it rained. I was pleased with job the roofer's did with house roof. Steve is friendly & very knowledgeable about roofing process & industry. The roofing job for the effected area 3ft x 2ft costs 600.00 which I didn't think was unreasonable for the amount of work completed. On Colony Roofing & Exteriors, LP Work Order notes roof repair is warranted for 2 years which I thought was decent. I would have given Colony Roofing & Exteriors 5 stars but had one small un addressed concern but over all the worker's did a great job. I would re hire this company for any Roofing issues I had in the future.

He was very informative and upfront with all information about shingle types, installation, scheduling, and options for repair vs. replacement. Two years ago we had a roof repair by Shingle Hut and were very satisfied with the cost and general helpfulness of the project coordinator. He gave us several options at a reasonable price. Fast forward to hurricane Beryl damage 2024... shingles were flying from a new part of the roof! Mark with Shingle Hut came through!! We were quoted double the price by another company who REFUSED to give us a cash price and wanted to ONLY work with insurance to cover the cost. Our Hurricane policy deductible was over $20,000... needless to say I needed an affordable and reasonable cash option. Mark offered us a couple different packages and was great about follow up without being pushy. He followed through with everything he discussed and was responsive on phone calls, text and email. Financing options are offered on their website by 3rd party but even that part was fantastic... very quick and responsive- again with options on loans to fit a variety of budget needs.
