We're actually going to go back to look at the second half we skipped today. The staff was friendly and helpful. The mall was very clean and the spacing was wide enough to move comfortably around without knocking anything over Highlights for me were George's Civil War Antiques, a two-booth collection of meticulously curated and catalogued historical artifacts; and some original Star Wars and X-Men action figures. I visited this shop today because I was interested in purchasing a bicycle. I drove a considerable…read moredistance specifically to see their selection after hearing they were a welcoming, family-owned business. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. I waited patiently while the employee (said she was the owner) finished helping another customer. I did not interrupt their conversation. When she asked if I was ready to check out, I said I had a question and simply asked where the bikes were located because I wanted to look at them. Her response was, "Whatever bikes are out is out." Since I had never been to the store before, I politely asked what she meant, trying to find out whether all the bikes were displayed in one area or if there were additional bikes elsewhere. Instead of answering my question, she became increasingly rude and dismissive. My teenage son was with me and witnessed the entire interaction. To my surprise, the employee then told us to "get out of my store," even though all we had done was ask about purchasing a bike. We were shocked by how quickly the situation escalated. I understand that retail employees can be busy, and there was another customer being helped, the owner's baby crying in the background, and the employee appeared to be in a hurry. However, none of that justifies speaking to potential customers with disrespect or asking them to leave simply for asking a reasonable question. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business. If customer service and being treated with basic courtesy are important to you, you may want to consider shopping elsewhere. This was one of the most unwelcoming retail experiences I've had, and I will not be returning.

If it's not about her parents, it seems to be about her sister or a friend. She is hateful and has a nasty attitude with almost all customers. It looks like she is never working and instead is on the phone or taking a smoke break somewhere else inside the establishment. (Yes, I have seen her e-vape first hand, and I am unsure if she is even of legal age since she appears so young.) I've wondered why they have never fired her, but she seems to be the owner's daughter. Yippee. I have read some of these other reviews, which are spot on, and have determined that if you can, try to go on a day when the 14-year-old girl is not working. I'm not sure why they even have someone so young and emotionally unstable at the front counter. Business would be better if they brought the older girl back (an employee they had before this one). She was always welcoming and offered to help me find my records when I couldn't read the letters. She was such a pretty, welcoming girl, but it seems they traded her for a tiny brat.
