He came out, had the necessary part on his truck, and fixed it in less than 10 minutes. My only reason for not making this a five star review was the time it took to hear back from him. We left a message on Thursday, but didn't get a call back until Friday. That meant the washer didn't get fixed till Monday (though then he showed up at exactly the time he'd promised). Not the end of the world, by any means, but a quicker return call would have been nice.

They scheduled him to be at my house today between nine and one. He never showed. When I called him to inquire why, I was very polite and he was rude from the get go. He stated he just got the service request and stated some dates that he could come out. He said "that's why I called you now". I explained to him that I called him and wondered when he was going to call me. He said very rudely, "I just got the service request!". I told him that he wasn't being very polite and he Yelled at me and said "forget it it's canceled" and hung up on me! When I tried to call him back he wouldn't answer. Please share this. This ass hat deserves no customers. Also, he is the only registered warranty repair man for Menards in the area. I wish I could post negative stars.

II decided on 906 Heating & Cooling, a local company, to have a new furnace installed. HUGE…read moreexpensive mistake! The owner sent his son alone to install the furnace at the end of November. In February, I asked about the permit that should have been in place before the installation. David said the paperwork must have gotten lost in the mail and refiled for the permit. Nothing about the installation was in code. The following is from the inspector's findings when he finally came in February. 1. Supply plenum is not properly made to transition between old duck work. 2. Return air elbow and air filter is too small for the BTU/airflow of new furnace. 3. Gas piping is on an angle causing stress on it. 4. Venting is done in 2" PVC pipe and needs to be 3" per manufactures installation manual. The owner of 906 Heating & Cooling (David) didn't inspect the initial furnace installation. The installer used an excessive amount of foil tape to hold pieces of sheet metal together and to cover large gaps for a makeshift supply plenum. After a couple weeks, the foil tape was coming loose, sheet metal pieces were separating allowing majority of heat to flow into the basement. I called 906 Heating & Cooling near the end of December to fix the problems. David sent his son alone again who then uses more sheet metal and more foil tape to patch up an already substandard job, and then again didn't inspect his son's work. 906 Heating & Cooling displayed a lack of knowledge installing a furnace and no quality control. The nice man said it needed some type of fuse and he didn't have one on his truck (?) and that the furnace needed a new burner and a complete examination after just 10 yrs service before putting it back in service at a cost of $$$. He suggested replacing the whole furnace ($$$$$). I must admit he was probably right, replacing only if the heat exchanger was badly rusted. They charged me for 3 hr labor ($80/hr) , including travel time. He was here about 30 minutes. I went on the internet, found the parts and fixed it myself ($). gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they charged skilled labor rate for travel time. They are nice people.

Terrible service Dept. We had a service call. They said they would let us know in a couple days…read morewhat was wrong with dishwasher. We called and stopped at the store many times to be told there was too much wrong we just needed a new one. We kept asking for a report so we could decide what we wanted to do. We then received a bill for the service call and I told them I would pay when we receive a report. I was then told there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher It was completely not washing the dishing so we knew there was something wrong. We ended up buying a new dishwasher from another local store. We also paid the $95 service charge because they were going to send it to collections. We paid for a service we never received, but will never shop there again. We had shopped there for years and now they lose a costumer over $95 and our entire family won't go there now .
