I then had to go back to the Garden Street office over my retirement income being sent to a wrong bank account -- no appointment required, I was told -- and when the agent said he couldn't tell what was going on and I tried to explain, he cut me off because I didn't have an appointment. So the bottom line, with this SSA office, is that, with the exception of one person, NOBODY CARES, so work through the 800 number as much as you can and avoid that office. And hope the DOGE boys eliminate those useless people from the government.

Sand shakes, people cheer, and you realize real quick this isn't some quiet museum piece this is living American aviation. For me, it meant even more. I want to give a proud salute to my daughter, Kindle , who served in the United States Navy. I watched her graduate boot camp and later graduate air traffic control school right here in Pensacola. She even volunteered helping with the Blue Angels show. Standing on that beach watching those jets carve up the sky while thinking about her service... that's the kind of moment that sticks with you. Loud. Proud. Real. A couple facts worth knowing while the jets are tearing holes in the sky: the Blue Angels were formed in 1946, making them one of the oldest flight demonstration teams in the world. Their home base is Naval Air Station Pensacola, and every year millions of people watch them perform across the country. These pilots fly just 18 inches apart in some formations at speeds pushing 700 mph. That's not choreography that's trust, skill, and nerves of steel. So here's my thanks: to the men and women of the United States Navy, thank you for your service. To Pensacola for being the home of naval aviation, thank you for the hospitality. Attending this felt so much like attending an organized air show; the biggest difference being that it was free! From the show to the announcer to the concessions, it was all top notch! The worst part was getting to the base. Traffic was horrendous. It was just like going to a promoted event. Once on base though it was so pleasant.
