Mr. Richard Davis, Im sorry to inform you that after researching best my nonprofit and awaiting my letter of determination I researched that going into banks and receiving information of what is offered is the best way to decide prior to opening any account and never give any of your nonprofit information due to your tied into the bank indefinitely and switching is extremely hard after. I went into the branch in Crescent City, Ca 95531 on 1020 3rd street today 2/14/24 between 1-2pm and the teller after stating my interest and recommendations to the bank via Forbes and online information kept informing me that, "I needed to give her my paperwork to make sure Im getting what Im asking for." Again I asked for nonprofit information and was told pretty they dont give that. She doesnt know the APY for her bank for nonprofits and I know it varies from personal checking and banking accounts. This is Ludi crest to me when all over social media including Forbes to do this to make sure your making the right choice, loc al banking staff is A) Knowledgeable of nonprofits, B)relations are adequate for your organization and C) Repour is to standards. This branches employee is lacking all branch skills for Forbes known nonprofit information and guidelines. I was wanting to be clear of my personal choice and give US Bank a new marketing platform by spreading our bank to every school in America. I would love to keep this bank in mind for future endeavor but the employee should be let go(Tiffany Martin). I hope this reaches the p[erson that calls himself a CEO because I too will be held to these standards as one; just because I didnt come inin a suit and tie and have the papers in hand I'm treated differently. I look forward to personally hearing from you and financial support and advisory from you. Im personally not looking for a apology just would like for you to uphold your position and deal with inadequacy. Forbes choice your bank as number one for nonprofits and my type especially followed by Citi and Wells Fargo so this incompetence here being number one astounds me with her standards. Thank you very much for your time, Ryan Freeman I went back into Crescent Citys branch and waited patiently for a desk manager which was on the phone and was called back to the teller and asked for the managers email, which later found out she was the manager which made this 10x worse. Hopefully she finds a new job where she is more knowledgably. Humboldt's branch was called after this experience and Sarah was extremely polite and gave me her email to help. She deserves a pat on the back and a raise. Also like to add I deal with Brookings, Oregon's branch alot over the last 15 years and they too are amazing and wonderful each and everytime ive been in there. read more

This "Bank" personifies RUDENESS! For starters the ATM is guarded by two huge pillars which make it impossible to drive up to the ATM. Most people park 4' out and walk up! Those who don't are immortalized by the rainbow of car paint colors left on the posts! Clerks are worse... my record is a $35K deposit without getting a thanks you! "There you go" or "you're welcome" is not an appropriate response for a teller! Today I got a long computer call about a problem with my Bank Card so I called the customer service number only to run into another long computer session. Where are the damn humans supposedly working for US??? I finally got an old bitty with an attitude who hung up on me! Using the excuse of the Covid Pandemic this branch has been closed now for weeks. Without ANY notice! My wife tried to go in to make a deposit only to be told that she had to have an appointment. So she called and got a 2:00 PM appt. which was in 5 minutes and there were NO customers in the bank! WTF??? Several of my renters have also been turned away while trying to deposit rent checks to my account! My $100k account is taking a walk down the street this week!! read more

As always this bank is the worst. It's not doing any favors for holding up at quality or standard or service. Every time I come to town and use ATM or go inside it's nothing but problems. This bank should just be closed. read more

Extremely slow service. Terrible communication. Manager is out of control. By far the worst banking experience I have ever encountered

Yesterday I made my third attempt to make a deposit of around $5000 in cash and checks at your Crescent City, CA 95531 location. Once again this became a joke in the customer service playbook! Attempt one failed because your ATM rejected several perfectly good $100 bills and counted the remaining $4700 as $4200 or about $500 SHORT! I chose to have the money returned however the touch screen was barely working so that action took multiple "touches" of the touch screen! Believe me that will raise your blood pressure! Several days later I returned to the same ATM. This machine is basically inaccessible from a vehicle so I parked four feet out as usual got out my cane and walked over (I'm 75 and have a handicap due to extreme and continual back pain). I inserted my card entered my pin and was confronted with a screen with the deposit button greyed out, as in not operative. Once again the touch screen was not working correctly and it took numerous "touches" to get my card back! Which brings us to my THIRD attempt, yesterday. We drive up to your "bank" and notice a long line of cars at the ATM as usual. I decide to forgo the ATM and go inside even though it will cause me pain. We are parked right in front of the main door which clearly states open 9-5. I call to make an appointment, ask when the next appointment is and I'm told "we're closed"! I try to explain that the front door clearly states 9-5 and then explain to the "manager" that US BANK is CLEARLY taking advantage or the pandemic by shortening hours and requiring appointments, and not sending out ANY notice of either! and that every other business that I know of makes due with masks and distancing. No wonder you have a huge line at the ATM your branch is essentially closed! In this town US Bank continues to be a rude, sick joke on the public it's supposed to serve. Looking back in my phone records I made my call to your manager at 4:01 while she claimed they close at 4:00. NOW THERE IS IS SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE/APPRECIATION FOR YOU!!!! Doesn't it make you feel all warm and fuzzy? That kind of goes along with the time I dropped $35K into your bank only to receive a hearty "there you go" as a thanks you! So this time I had to keep $5000 at home for a week because US Bank equipment and service absolutely SUCKS! Please supply me with contact information for a district manager or some other manager who could have an impact on this armpit of customer service! read more

Do not understand the bad reviews. My experience with this branch has always been pleasant. During the recent remodel, there was a trailer set up to assist customers. Although not an ideal situation, the bank personnel were very friendly and helpful. I have been a US Bank customer for many, many years and plan to continue that relationship! read more

Had the worst customer service EVER! Came from out of town and was highly disappointed!!!! Waited in line and the male teller was rude and obnoxious! Then he had the nerve to ask my husband why he wanted the one dollar bills for, then his remark went to at least you'll feel rich by having a fat wallet. To me this is totally unprofessional! To top it off we went to the bank to get change and he didn't have it and wouldn't ask his boss to get the change! Absolutely the worst customer service ever! read more
