I've been a long standing customer and have several accounts with this bank. Most of my account representatives go above and beyond. The bank manager at this branch, Paul, is very arrogant and rude. He cares nothing for customer service. I do not recommend. read more

I saw that this has less than two stars. I am not sure how this can be. I just moved my accounts from Commerce to US Bank after being a customer of theirs for over 20 yrs. I have been more than satisfied with the level of service and competency. I love that they have a coin machine that deposits the $ into your acct. Worst customer service of any business I have been too. We are regular commercial customers required to use this bank for cash deposits. They are flat out rude in the drive through, Have little care for what you need, have given torn or broken money in change orders, have given incorrect total amount sin change orders. (Make sure you count your money) You can really tell Most of the folks working here do not like. dealing with people. Occasionally they have forgotten to mute their Microphones and made very rude passive aggressive comments. Wish it would allow me to give a negative rating. Because thats where it should be. Went to this location to use coin counter which is apparently broken. Was told I could go to Alton or Granite City? Went to the counter asked if they could use the counter in back seeing how I needed to deposit this as soon as possible and was told they don't do that. I asked if I could roll the coins. The cashier actually laughed at me.Which they apparently dont do either. What is it this location does do???Looks like we need to find a new bank entirely seeing how this bank doesn't want to actually serve their customers. read more

I work for Men's Wearhouse and use this bank daily for the company. I have been using the drive through for over a year for deposits and today's at 12:20 I went through to deposit and it was sent back to me and I was told I had to use the lobby because I had 2 deposits. He said there were several people waiting in line and I had to go to the lobby. There wasn't anyone in line and I told him that and he still refused. I don't know why today is any different from every other day for over a year. We have been using the drive thru since we reopened from pandemic. He was rude and uncalled for. read more

If I could give them less than 1 Star I would. I was there for an hour just trying to get a change order for the store I work at. There was 3 people at the teller desk. 1 was counting money 1 was bringing orders up from the drive thru to process and 1 of them was setting up a checking account for someone and the line was almost all the way to the door. We are going to try and have the company switch to a different bank because this is an ongoing problem. read more

I have never had such fucked up customer service at a bank I would never trust these morons with my dogs's pop bag much less my life's savings. During my travels I buy a lottery ticket and it's my lucky Day I've got myself a winner so I hold onto it until my return trip to cash it in...as a cut through Illinois headed back to Indiana I stop by the Illinois Lottery office to cash in, pick up my check, and off to the nearest bank I go to collect. As you may have heard the good little state of Illinois has the tendency to not be able to payout so get ya cash ASAP! Anywho I get to US Bank because that's who it's drawn on I'm smiling and friendly hand over my check and drivers license only to be told I need two government issued picture ID's. WTF! Either passport, state ID, DL, or military ID...I had my DL so why would I have an additional state ID?! I do have a passport but I'm only in Illinois I'm not traveling internationally so why would I have that?! I'm not in the military but I've got a Gucci bag FULL of other things to prove who I am not to mention the claim form from the lottery office. Why should I have to ride 500 miles and three days with this check when all they had to do is cash it? Bad bad bad bad customer service. Attitude sucks! Management sucks! If there was any review less than a one, this guys will be getting it right now. They lie to you and mislead you to sign up for financial services you do not need. They are rude and will attempt to play on your intelligence. I walked into this branch because I was referred by a business partner, with my guards completely down hoping to receive a fair treatment. This was not the case. Customers expect to be sold and not lied to. The lady greeted me warmly with a smile on her face, which i felt welcoming. We built rapport and I felt I was in the right hands. She proceeded to opening a company account for me upon request then extended an offer for a business credit card. Based on my previous experience, we both agreed that we were aware what a hard inquiry will do to my credit because I am in the process of a major purchase. She proceeded and lied to me that they only performed "soft inquiries" no hard ones . I specifically stated clearly I will not be needing a credit card if this will in anyway affect my credit report, in her words " I promise it wont, This will be a better way to establish company credit ". I agreed to the "Soft inquiry". Now she pulls out 3 different credit card plans and said I could go with either of them . I went with a fair 12.99% again with the "Establish company credit" mindset. Okay, I get back to work same day and get a notification from my credit reporting agency that a hard inquiry was made to my account. I called and nobody will speak to me asking if I wanted to file a dispute? Few weeks later I get a call from someone in the bank asking how my experience was and I told him I was not happy and I wanted S. call me so we may address the whole "Inquiry" thing. We did and I agreed to come to the bank with the card once received so as to iron things out. I get the card in the mail after numerous phone calls with the credit card department stating that my address and social security number was incorrect(How can that be). Long story short, I received the card in the mail and then an agreement later saying I had agreed to a 20.99% interest rate. How in the world? 2 issues on my hands now " An inquiry that was not approved" , "An interest rate that was not agreed upon". Now I am unhappy and proceeded to the location of this bank . I asked for the document that stated that I had agreed to that interest rate and documents stating that I was approving a credit inquiry. Of course the so called manager thinking I'm a stupid customer will not provide me this information saying that the lady that attended to me only had access to those information and when I asked - " What if she is no longer an employee of the company, will anybody be able to get access to that same information?" , He then proceeded to say that the information only he has access to his a pre-screen and not what I signed up for. Some other things were said to me that did not sound accurate and my experience was terrible. Unfortunately , I only have videos and recordings of went down with me and this "manager" and not with the lady signed me up. I do not know how many customers that have zero knowledge about credit cards these guys have screwed over. Do not do business with this branch and USBank, period. If you MUST, request for all your paperwork and go over them . I'll either provide videos of conversations to the public on the internet or the better business bureau if a corporate manager, I mean USBANK(not this branch) Corporate manager reach out to me , to ensure this does not happen to other struggling customers. read more

Best US Bank I have been too as far as customer service. They are on point. I wish more people were as friendly and sincere. You can tell they really care about their customers and really take out the time to make sure each one of us are helped. Now us bank as a bank is the worse bank. They are charging us over and over again for things we have paid for and we have had many problems with them shuffling our money. The people at this bank (ESPECIALLY this branch) are untrained and unable to do their jobs! I have had past problems with them but my latest encounter is the END! I will be leaving this bank by the end of this month! My latest problem started with a debit card they sent me a month ago that had a bad chip in it. I was unable to use it so I went in the bank to have it reissued. Instead of giving me a temporary card to use in the meantime, the teller CANCELS the card and tells me I have to get a totally different card with a different number! It's Christmas and I have pending charges on that card for items I have ordered online which will now be declined!!!! I was furious! The teller says it's too late, she has already cancelled it and it can't be reversed! I pitched a fit and the receptionist asked me to leave the bank...with NO debit card and no way to remove any of my money at Christmas!!! I ended up going to another branch where the teller reinstated my old card, ordered me another one, and gave me a temporary card to use in the meantime! I will NEVER step foot in the Fairview Heights branch of U.S. Bank again and am searching to find out who is in charge of the staff there. Aside from not knowing how to handle a defective card transaction, they were rude and totally unaffected by the inconvenience they were causing a good customer! NEVER AGAIN! read more

I opened an account for personal checking account with free ATM card almost 5 months ago. 2 months in a row got charged $57.90 for the "ability" to use my ATM card which I just got in the mail last Saturday! The only charge I am supposed to have is $6.95/mo for maintenance fees. I just got my checks today! Also, since opening it until last week (almost 5 months later) I have not been able to log on online, make deposits, or even use my account because all I was given when I opened the account was a handshake and a brochure with a post it with a bad online login password & ID stuck to it. I have called and even talked to the agent that did setup & no answers except "they are in the mail" & that they can't fix online or tell me my account info so I can use teller until they come. Seriously? How do they expect happy customers when they can't use their money?! Everyone else kept sending me back to original agent even though I explained situation. It was only resolved after the items finally arrived and someone took pity on me and helped. Still, I have these bogus charges for a total of $115.80 that has been taken from my account for which there has still been no explanation or refund for. read more
