Minus 1 star. Mail sorter doesn't look at zip codes when he sorts mail and the mailman don't either , evidenced by letter placed in my mail box with different address and zip code than mine . Less people using USPS yet more errors .. And ..junk mail may be a financial gain for USPS but it may be a factor in poor service. read more

The new lady delivering mail for 87th Street in Vero Beach, FL is dishonest and unethical, seems like she is opening all the mail she delivers, delivering packages and cards opened with missing items, she seems to be stealing from packages cards, and taking gift cards and items from people on her route. She has fallen out of grace from God. This all started just the past week or two now. The US Post Office has a lot of dishonest, unethical, and thief's working for them. It is sad to see. Real slaves for Satan. You spend 73 cents to send a card, which never gets to its destination. Why would anyone want to use or pay to use the usps anymore? They will be their own demise when they go bankrupt and out of business with all this theft and dishonesty. I had been waiting for a package, I watched today out the window, the post office delivered a package in my mail box, I went right outside to get the mail that was just delivered, it was put in my mail box and was torn open, completely broken into, it was bloody and smelly and missing items that were sent to me, missing a card and gift card. It just goes to show you someone in the Post Office is dishonest, since it was dropped off at the Post Office from Boca to Vero Beach. It is sad today our government agencies are so corrupted, so dishonest, and steal from the US Citizens they are supposed to serve. The usps used to be sacred, now it is corrupted with many dishonest employees. I am not sure how we can trust them at all anymore. Too, their informed delivery is useless, it said I was receiving three pieces of mail today, it shows the photos of them online under my account, which was never put in my box, who knows if I will get them. The mail is very bad today. It is hard to trust or have confidence in them at all. They are bad, they put a lot of mail from other houses in my box, they do not look or care at all. I've never had a problem or issue at the Downtown Post Office in Vero Beach, Florida. Having relocated to Indian River County from Broward, I'm used to long lines, snippy staff, and general lack of customer service. This isn't the case here on the Miracle Mile. The postal employees I've had the most interaction at this location are Kristen and Terry. Never an issue - never a problem - always courteous and polite. And on more than one occasion I've received packaging or mailing instructions that have saved me on postal costs. I have used this Post Office in Vero Beach many times and most were a positive pleasant experience and no complaints. Until 2 weeks ago I went to walk in the window area. I opened the door and immediately an employee behind the counter began yelling at me from across the room, causing every head to turn in my direction, HOW HUMILIATING! I know he was yelling because I am legally deaf (which I don't appreciate people knowing) and yes I have a "Service Dog" she is well trained and always on her best behavior and she has bee in this very Post Office many times without incident. This time he began to shout get that dog out of here right now. You have no right to disturb my customers and on and on he went! He NEVER asked the status of my dog ( I carry proof with me at all times) I do not put a vest on and I am not required to, I don't want to draw attention to my disability but sometimes I just can hear things in my surroundings and luckily for me she does. Of course as a Government employee he will get away with humiliating me and refusing me access to the post office, but his "union" will pat him on the back and he will do something just as outrageous again, because he can and HE KNOWS HE CAN! I dropped my wallet on the way in. The wallet was filled with cash. An honest mailman came to the rescue and saved me a lot of heartache by returning the wallet to me. I offered him a reward and he turned it down. Thank you Mr mail man. read more

Excellent staff, go there almost daily for my postal needs. They are quick and efficient, kind and respectful, who can ask for anything more. Dealing with the public can be very difficult at times, I have witnessed nothing but patience and kind consideration to even the most challenging of patrons. Like I have said, I have seen quite a lot going in there almost daily, staff go above and beyond for their customers!
